Network-assisted scanning of a surrounding environment

A system, method and architecture for network-assisted scanning of a surrounding environment. In one example arrangement, the system is operative for receiving real world object identification and spatial mapping data relative to a plurality of real world scenarios sensed by sensing points, each operating as a collection agent configured to collect environmental data in association with a plurality of sensors. The data may be prioritized responsive to at least one of a determination of RAN resource capacity available to the collection agent, e.g., compute resources, storage resources, radio transmission resources, cost of the transmission capacity available to the collection agent, etc. in view of urgency/relevance of the data. Responsive to prioritizing the environmental data, one or more pieces of the environmental data may be transmitted to a nearest edge compute location and/or a cloud-based datacenter network node.

DYNAMIC PRIORITIZATION OF COLLABORATION BETWEEN HUMAN AND VIRTUAL AGENTS

A method of dynamic prioritization of collaboration between human and virtual agents according to an embodiment includes generating a priority score for a conversation between a human user and a chat bot, wherein the priority score is based on at least a sentiment of the human user and a temporal aspect of the conversation, providing the priority score to a human agent via an interface for monitoring the priority score, transferring control of the conversation from the chat bot to the human agent based on an interaction of the human agent with the interface, and yielding control of the conversation from the human agent back to the chat bot in response to another interaction of the human agent with the interface.

TELECOMMUNICATION AND MULTIMEDIA MANAGEMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS

A telecommunication and multimedia management apparatus and method that supports voice and other media communications and that enables users to: (i) participate in multiple conversation modes, including live phone calls, conference calls, instant voice messaging or tactical communications; (ii) review the messages of conversations in either a live mode or a time-shifted mode and to seamlessly transition back and forth between the two modes; (iii) participate in multiple conversations either concurrently or simultaneously; (iv) archive the messages of conversations for later review or processing; and (v) persistently store media either created or received on the communication devices of users. The latter feature enables users to generate or review media when either disconnected from the network or network conditions are poor and to optimize the delivery of media over the network based on network conditions and the intention of the users participating in conversations.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVERTING AN EMAIL THREAD TO AN INSTANT MESSAGE GROUP

Systems and methods for initiating an instant messaging chat session from an email thread are described. In examples, an email thread including at least one email is received and user identifiers form the at least one email are extracted. Presence information associated with each user identifier of the plurality of user identifiers is obtained and then ordered. The ordered plurality of user identifiers together with their presence information are displayed in a user interface window. A determination to display a user control associated with an instant messaging capability is based on the presence information associated with at least one user identifier of the plurality of user identifiers. Upon receiving an indication that the user control associated with the instant messaging chat capability is selected, an instant messaging chat session is initiated.

USER INTERFACES FOR MESSAGING CONVERSATIONS

In some embodiments, an electronic device displays a plurality of content items in a messaging conversation. In some embodiments, the electronic device displays user interfaces associated with one or more content items in a messaging conversation.

MESSAGING SYSTEM

An example electronic device includes a display; a communication circuit; a memory storing one or instructions; and a processor for executing the one or more instructions to configure the processor to control the electronic device to: display, on the display, a message compose screen; receive message compose inputs to the message compose screen for composing a message; receive a message send input for sending the message via the communication circuit; set a timer; and send the message, via the communication circuit, after expiration of the timer.

SUGGESTED DELAY DELIVERY OF ELECTRONIC MESSAGES

In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for surfacing email suggestions are presented. A first user account associated with a composer of an email may be identified. Core working hour and a time zone associated with that first user account may be determined. One or more recipient user accounts included in the email may be identified. Core working hours and a time zone associated with the recipient user accounts may be identified. If more than a threshold number, percentage, and/or ratio of the recipient users is not currently in core working hours when the email is being drafted/sent, a suggestion may be surfaced in association with the email to send the email at a later time when more recipient users are in their core working hours.

ENHANCED CONTROL OF USER INTERFACE FORMATS FOR MESSAGE THREADS BASED ON DEVICE FORM FACTORS OR TOPIC PRIORITIES
20220385608 · 2022-12-01 ·

The system manages a data structure that defines at least one topic limit for each client computer. The data structure can cause each client computer to display different user interface formats based on a topic limit that is allowed per thread. The data structure causes some devices, which may have a limited viewing area, to only show a single-topic thread, while the data structure also causes other devices to display multi-topic threads. Thus, for high priority topics or for devices having a limited display area, the system can cause the display of a single-topic thread pertaining to a topic to which an incoming message corresponds. This feature can improve user interaction by bringing focus to high priority threads when messages of a particular topic are received at select devices, while allowing other devices to provide a broader perspective of thread formats having multiple topics when the same messages are received.
