Radio link failure reporting in a system using multiple cells
Radio link Failure (RLF) reporting operation in a wireless communication system using multiple cells is disclosed. According to this operation, when a first cell and a second cell are simultaneously connected to a UE and the first cell and the second cell are of different base stations (a first base station and a second base station respectively), if the RLF with the UE on the first cell is detected by the first base station, the first base station may transmits an indication of the RLF with the UE on the first cell to the second base station.

A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method that enables short message service (SMS) text messaging to be integrated into existing applications is presented. Consistent with some embodiments, the method may include receiving a request from a client application to transmit a message to a recipient device. The method may further include adding the message transmission request to an outbound queue based on determining the message transmission request is valid. In response to successfully validating the request, the method causes transmission of the message to the recipient device.

A communication system includes communication devices configured to be connected to one another through a network. A root device which is one of the communication devices stores system information including address information and information on availability of communication of the communication devices. The root device is configured to transmit the system information periodically. Each of the communication devices is configured to send an acknowledgement message to the root device when receiving the system information. When an acknowledgement message from one of the communication devices has not been received by the root device, the root device is configured to rewrite the information on availability of communication of the communication device from which the acknowledgement message has not been received by the root device, as incommunicable, and to update the system information accordingly.
Communication System
A computer system comprises computer storage holding at least one code module configured to implement a bot, and at least one processor configured to execute the code module. The computer system also comprises a communication system for effecting communication events between users of the communication system; a bot interface for exchanging messages between the communication system and the bot; and a dialogue manager. The communication system transmits, to the dialogue manager directly, content of a first message received at a processor of the communication system from a user of the communication system. The dialogue applies an intent recognition process to the content to generate at least one intent identifier, and transmits a second message comprising the intent identifier to the bot using the bot interface. The bot automatically generates a response using the intent identifier received in the second message, and transmits the generated response to at least the user.
Selection of Service Providers for Message Transmission on Online Social Networks
In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a mobile service provider network (SPN) and a geographic location of an online social network user and accessing a service-provider table associated with the identified mobile SPN and with the geographic location. The service-provider table indexes a reliability score and a sampling amount for multiple messaging-service providers in the geographic location. The method further determines, based on the service-provider table, whether any of the messaging-service providers has a sampling amount below a threshold sampling amount and sends messaging traffic via the determined messaging-service provider until the sampling amount is greater than or equal to the threshold sampling amount. The messaging traffic is used to update the reliability score for the messaging-service provider. The method further includes selecting a messaging-service provider based on the updated reliability scores of the messaging-service providers and sending a message to the user via the selected messaging service-provider.
Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving data in mission critical data communication system
The embodiments herein provide a method for managing short data service (SDS) disposition notifications in a Mission Critical Data (MCData) communication system. The method includes identifying, by a receiving MCData User Equipment (UE), SDS disposition request type Information Element (IE) in a SDS message received from a transmitting MCData UE. Further, the method includes initiating, by the receiving MCData UE, a timer when the disposition request type Information Element (IE) is set as Delivery and Read. Furthermore, the method includes transmitting, by the receiving MCData UE, a consolidated disposition notification to the transmitting MCData UE by stopping the timer when the SDS message is read before expiry of the timer.
