Deterministic forwarding across L2 and L3 networks
According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a first tunnel router may receive a reservation request to establish a deterministic path between a first node and a second node. The first tunnel router may determine, based on the reservation request, a destination address of the second node. The first tunnel router may identify, based on the destination address of the second node, a second tunnel router associated with the second node. The first tunnel router may encapsulate a deterministic packet sent by the first towards the second node into a tunnel packet, wherein a multicast address in a header of the tunnel packet is set to the destination address of the second node. The first tunnel router can forward the tunnel packet along the deterministic path. The multicast address in the header of the tunnel packet causes nodes to send the tunnel packet according to the deterministic path.
Selective Call Connection System With In-Flight Control
Systems and methods for selectively providing messages to users equipment (UEs) are disclosed. Different types of messages can be associated with different statuses for each UE based on user preferences, network settings, or plan parameters. UEs can be available to receive some types of messages, but not other types of messages, depending on the UE's current connection type, location, or plan parameters. Messages sent to multiple UEs associated with the same service account can be sent based on the availability of each UE to receive the message. Messages are not sent to UEs that are not available to receive that type of message. UEs connected to a common network can enable messaging services to other UEs associated with a common service account or network identity. Messaging services can be available despite each UEs availability to other types of messages.
Telecommunication system for automatically locating by network connection and selectively delivering calls to mobile client devices
A communication system for an organization having multiple sites uses a dual-mode device capable of both cell phone communication and telephone communication on a local area network (LAN). IP LANS are established at organization sites such that a temporary IP address is assigned to a dual-mode device that logs onto an organization LAN, and the IP address is associated at a PSTN-connected server on the LAN with the cell phone number of the communication device. The IP server notifies a PSTN-connected routing server when a device logs on to a LAN, and also provides a destination number for the IP server. Cell calls directed to the device are then redirected to the IP server and directed to the device connected to the LAN.
POINT OF PRESENCE MANAGEMENT IN REQUEST ROUTING
A system and method for the management of client computing device DNS queries and subsequent resource requests within a content delivery network service provider domain are provided. The management of the DNS queries can include the selection of computing devices corresponding to various Point of Presence locations for processing DNS queries. Additionally, the management of the content requests can include the selection of computing devices corresponding to resource cache components corresponding to various Point of Presence locations for providing requested content. The selection of the computing devices can incorporate logic related to geographic criteria, testing criteria, and the like.

System, methods and apparatuses for providing network access security control
A method in a system for providing information about an association between an IP address of a UE and an ICCID of a SIM card used in the UE in a first security domain to an entity in a second security domain. The system comprises a MME, an HSS and a PDN-GW. The method comprises the MME retrieving at least the ICCID and optionally an IP address for the UE from the HSS, and sending the ICCID and optionally the IP address towards the PDN-GW. The method comprises the HSS receiving a request from the MME, and sending the ICCID and optionally the IP address to the MME. Still further, the method comprises the PDN-GW receiving the ICCID and optionally the IP address, if no IP address is received then the PDN-GW assigning an IP address, associating the IP address with the ICCID and informing the entity in the second security domain about the association between the IP address and ICCID in the first security domain.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR DEVICE ROUTING MANAGEMENT
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for device routing management are disclosed. A client device of a wireless network may roam from a first access point to a second access point of the wireless network. The second access point, or the client device itself, may send a network message indicating the client device is currently being served by the second access point. The message may cause a network mapping stored at the first access point and/or at each device associated with the wireless network to be updated to indicate the client device is associated with the second access point, thereby enabling proper routing of network traffic to the client device via the second access point.

DHCP agent assisted routing and access control
Systems and methods for increasing layer 2 visibility of layer 3 network devices so as to facilitate implementation of device-oriented policy actions by layer 3 network devices are provided. According to one embodiment, unique physical addresses of one or more host devices are retrieved by a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) agent that is operatively coupled with a DHCP server. The physical addresses are mapped to corresponding Internet Protocol (IP) addresses assigned by the DHCP server to the one or more host devices. The mapping is relayed directly or indirectly to a network security device. Network traffic management/security policies are defined within the network security device corresponding to at least one of the unique physical addresses.
Enabling an online system user to access a third party application without installing the third party application
An online system provides a user with access to applications associated with third parry systems via the online system and generates an identifier that identifies the user to a third party system without providing the third party system with information personally identifying the user. Using an identifier that identifies an additional user to the third party system, an online system user may invite the additional user to use an application associated with the third party system without installing the application on the additional user's client device. When the user invites the additional user to use the application, the online system sends the third party system associated with the application the identifier identifying the additional user to the third party system. If the additional user accepts the invitation, the online system or third party system provides application content to the additional user via a frame on the additional user's client device.
