Generation of a visually obfuscated representation of an alphanumeric message that indicates availability of a proposed identifier
This disclosure relates to a system and related operating methods. A computer-implemented server device receives a request from a device that includes an identifier proposed for a potential account holder. The computer-implemented server device determines whether the identifier is available for use with a new account, and communicates a response to the device that indicates whether the identifier is available for use with the new account. The response is presented at the device and includes an image that contains a visually obfuscated representation of an alphanumeric message that indicates either a success or a failure.
Channel state information feedback scheme for cooperative multi point transmission and carrier aggregation scenario
Embodiments of a system and method for reporting uplink control information (UCI) are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a first and second component carrier (CC) is provided for a user equipment (UE). The first and second CC are configured with transmission mode (TM) 10 and TMs 1-9, respectively. A first channel state information (CSI) report for the first CC with TM 10 and a second CSI report for the second CC with at least one of TMs 1-9 are scheduled for transmission in a subframe. A collision is detected between the first and second CSI reports. Priority is assigned to the first CSI report or the second CSI report based on a prioritization parameter. The prioritized CSI report is transmitted based the prioritization parameter.
Domain name classification systems and methods
Disclosed is a domain engineering analysis solution that determines relevance of a domain name to a brand name in which a domain name, brand name, and identification of a substring of the domain name may be provided to or obtained by a computer embodying a domain engineering analyzer. A list of features may be determined. The list of features may include a lexicon, or a set of key-value pairs that encode information about terms included as substrings in the domain name. Determining the features may include obtaining a language model for each term, analyzing a cluster of language models closest to the obtained language model, and determining and scoring a relevance of each term to the brand name. The determined relevance and score of each term may be provided to a client. This relevance analysis can be dynamically applied in an online process or proactively applied in an offline process.
Method and apparatus for managing rehoming of user endpoint devices in a communication network
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a Domain Name System (DNS) server having a controller to receive new provisioning information for updating a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), and update the FQDN with the new provisioning information. The new provisioning information can include among other things a start time for rehoming one or more user endpoint devices (UEs) assigned to a current session border Controller (S/BC), a move-from record comprising a descriptor of at least the current S/BC, a move-to record comprising a descriptor of at least a new S/BC to which to rehome the one or more UEs, a transfer window representing a total time for the rehoming the one or more UEs to the new S/BC, and a pacing parameter for rehoming the one or more UEs to the new S/BC during the transfer window. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
DOMAIN NAME OPERATION VERIFICATION CODE GENERATION AND/OR VERIFICATION
System, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable medium for generating a verification code related to a registry operation request are provided. A verification process may be performed to determine if a verification request related to a registry operation is to be approved. If the request is to be approved, a verification code is generated that includes identifying information of a verification service provider and a code indicating that the request has been verified.
Fast modulation and coding scheme adaptation protocol for long term evolution with multiple-user multiple input, multiple output
Embodiments for providing fast modulation and coding scheme adaptation for LTE regardless of transmission using single-user multiple-input and multiple-output (SU-MIMO) or multiple-user multiple-input and multiple-output are generally described herein. In some embodiments, channel state information reference signals are sent to user equipment by a node. First channel quality indication feedback based on the channel state information reference signals is received from the user equipment. Physical downlink shared channel data and demodulation reference signals are transmitted using a first modulation and coding scheme based on the first channel quality indication feedback. Second channel quality indication feedback based on measurements performed by the user equipment on the demodulation reference signals is received by a node. Physical downlink shared channel data is transmitted using a second modulation and coding scheme based on the second channel quality indication feedback.
CCN routing using hardware-assisted hash tables
One embodiment provides a system that facilitates forwarding of packets with variable length names. During operation, the system receives a packet with a hierarchically structured variable length identifier (HSVLI) which comprises contiguous name components ordered from a most general level to a most specific level. The system performs a longest prefix match lookup by selecting an entry from a first data structure of entries. The entries indicate a name component, forwarding information for the name component, and a plurality of entry identifiers that chain an entry to another entry. If a size of the name component is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold, the system selects an entry based on the name component. If the size is greater, the system selects an entry based on a compressed key which can be a hash of the name component. The system also resolves collisions associated with the selected entry.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF EMAIL ADDRESSES OF CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS AND VERIFICATION THEREOF
A method includes obtaining an identifier of an individual. The individual is associated with an entity such that the individual has an email address in a domain corresponding to the entity. The method also includes determining one or more candidate domains such that: the one or more candidate domains potentially correspond to the entity; and the individual potentially has the email address in at least one of the one or more candidate domains. The method further includes determining one or more candidate email addresses in at least one of the one or more candidate domains. The method additionally includes testing the one or more candidate email addresses and the one or more candidate domains to determine the email address of the individual in the domain corresponding to the entity.
Coverage boosting transmission method for LTE technology
Embodiments for boosting coverage of wireless signals are generally described herein. A wireless communication device for boosting coverage of wireless signals may include a processor arranged to configure resource blocks for a sub-frame for transmitting data in a communication session, wherein the sub-frame includes at least one slot formed by a matrix of sub-carriers in the frequency domain and symbols in the time domain and a transceiver, coupled to the processor, the transceiver being arranged to establish communication with entities in a network, the transceiver being further arranged to, under direction of the processor, map modulated symbols to at least a partial resource block to form a coverage boosting resource unit, the coverage boosting resource unit spreading at least one data bit over at least the partial resource block.
Inter-RAT mobility of in-device coexistence
Embodiments of system, device, and method configurations for managing inter-radio access technology (inter-RAT) mobility of handovers between a UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) or GSM EDGE Radio Access Network (GERAN) and an evolved UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) to avoid scenarios of in-device coexistence (IDC) interference are disclosed herein. In one example, the existence and types of IDC interference with an E-UTRAN Long Term Evolution (LTE)/Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) network are determined and communicated to the UTRAN/GERAN in an IDC indication signal. The IDC indication signal may communicate the existence and type of IDC interference occurring at user equipment, such as between licensed LTE/LTE-A and unlicensed industrial scientific medical (ISM) radio frequency bands. Accordingly, the UTRAN/GERAN may use information provided from the IDC indication signal to prevent a handover to the E-UTRAN that would result in IDC interference.
