Disclosed is a domain engineering analysis solution that determines relevance of a domain name to a brand name in which a domain name, brand name, and identification of a substring of the domain name may be provided to or obtained by a computer embodying a domain engineering analyzer. A list of features may be determined. The list of features may include a lexicon, or a set of key-value pairs that encode information about terms included as substrings in the domain name. Determining the features may include obtaining a language model for each term, analyzing a cluster of language models closest to the obtained language model, and determining and scoring a relevance of each term to the brand name. The determined relevance and score of each term may be provided to a client. This relevance analysis can be dynamically applied in an online process or proactively applied in an offline process.

Conflict resolution in segment routing

In general, techniques are described for conflict resolution in source packet routing in networking. For example, a first router receives a first advertisement originated in a first Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) level. The first advertisement specifies a first prefix and a segment identifier (SID). The first router also receives a second advertisement originated in a second IGP level of the network. The second advertisement specifies a second prefix and the SID. Based on the first advertisement and the second advertisement specifying the same SID and based on the first IGP level having less visibility than the second IGP level, the first router selects the SID to be associated with a route to the first prefix.

Electronic apparatus, communication system, and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium

Provided is an electronic apparatus that possibly registers a domain name, an IP address, and identification information on the electronic apparatus itself with a DNS server, which includes a communication unit and a processing unit. When the domain name of the electronic apparatus is registered with the DNS server, the processing unit makes an acquisition request for identification information that is associated with the domain name of the electronic apparatus. In a case where the acquired identification information is not the same as the identification information on the electronic apparatus, the processing unit changes the domain name, and performs processing that registers the IP address and the identification information with the DNS server in a state of being associated with a post-change domain name.

Generating a natural name data structure to prevent duplicate network data associated with an asynchronous distributed network operating system

A network device receives first objects defining first network data associated with an asynchronous distributed network and an asynchronous distributed network operating system and generates a natural name graph based on the first objects. The network device provides information describing the natural name graph to other network devices in the asynchronous distributed network and receives a second object defining second network data. The network device determines whether one of the first objects in the natural name graph is a duplicate of the second object and removes the one of the first objects from the natural name graph, to generate an updated natural name graph, when the one of the first objects in the natural name graph is a duplicate of the second object. The network device provides the updated natural name graph to the other network devices to prevent the other network devices from generating erroneous results.

DOMAIN NAME OPERATION VERIFICATION CODE GENERATION AND/OR VERIFICATION

System, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable medium for generating a verification code related to a registry operation request are provided. A verification process may be performed to determine if a verification request related to a registry operation is to be approved. If the request is to be approved, a verification code is generated that includes identifying information of a verification service provider and a code indicating that the request has been verified.

System and method to alter a telematics unit phone number

A system to alter a phone number assigned to a telematics unit in which a server of a data center retrieves a phone call log that includes the call transmissions of a telematics unit made over a time period. Moreover, upon retrieval, the server will extract certain criteria from the phone call log, compile the extracted criteria, and then determine whether or not to alter the phone number based on the compiled criteria. When it is determined to do so, the server may alter the phone number by changing the phone number's area code or exchanging the phone number assigned to the telematics unit with another phone number.

Maintaining global namespace consistency for a distributed filesystem

The disclosed embodiments disclose techniques for maintaining global name consistency for a distributed filesystem. Two or more cloud controllers collectively manage distributed filesystem data that is stored in one or more cloud storage systems; the cloud controllers ensure data consistency for the stored data, and each cloud controller caches portions of the distributed filesystem. During operation, a cloud controller receives a client request to perform a namespace operation upon a filesystem object. The cloud controller contacts the cloud controller that manages (owns) the portion of the global namespace for the distributed filesystem that includes the filesystem object. This second cloud controller ensures the consistency of the filesystem object across the distributed filesystem during the namespace operation.
