Detecting and mitigating registrar collusion in drop-add acquisitions of domain names
Systems and method for detecting domain name system (DNS) registrar collusion include a collusion detector at a registry. The collusion detector obtains information related to name acquisition requests submitted by DNS registrars attempting to acquire domain names in a drop pool of expired domain names and provides attempt sets containing the domain names targeted by the DNS registrars for acquisition. Each attempt set contains at least one targeted domain name that a respective DNS registrar attempted to acquire via at least one name acquisition request. The collusion detector determines a degree of similarity between two or more attempt sets corresponding to a pair of the DNS registrars, estimates a likelihood of collusion between the pair of DNS registrars based on the degree of similarity, and performs any mitigation action warranted by the likelihood of collusion.
CCN routing using hardware-assisted hash tables
One embodiment provides a system that facilitates forwarding of packets with variable length names. During operation, the system receives a packet with a hierarchically structured variable length identifier (HSVLI) which comprises contiguous name components ordered from a most general level to a most specific level. The system performs a longest prefix match lookup by selecting an entry from a first data structure of entries. The entries indicate a name component, forwarding information for the name component, and a plurality of entry identifiers that chain an entry to another entry. If a size of the name component is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold, the system selects an entry based on the name component. If the size is greater, the system selects an entry based on a compressed key which can be a hash of the name component. The system also resolves collisions associated with the selected entry.
Method and system for resolving internet of things heterogeneous identifiers
The present invention relates to a method and system for resolving Internet of Things heterogeneous identifiers. The method provides a special description mechanism for a resolution protocol for an Internet of Things heterogeneous identifiers, which not only forms a heterogeneous identification coding rule corresponding to the heterogeneous identifier, but also accordingly forms a corresponding heterogeneous identification resolution protocol rule, and conducts registration binding on the above-mentioned rules and the corresponding Internet of Things heterogeneous identifier. By resolving and querying standard identification code corresponding to the Internet of Things heterogeneous identification, the disclosed method can obtain the bound heterogeneous identification coding rule and heterogeneous identification resolution protocol rule. Thus the Internet of Things heterogeneous identifier can be transformed into a unified Internet of Things heterogeneous identifier including the coding rules and the resolution protocol, which allows initiating a correct Internet of Things identification query for a corresponding resolution server by reading rule information therein and adopting a corresponding resolution protocol. The present invention can achieve resolving common query of various Internet of Things heterogeneous identifiers based on different coding rules and different resolution protocols.
Device and method in wireless communication system
A device and method in a wireless communication system, the device including an access determination unit configured to determine an access requirement of a user equipment (UE); and a control unit configured to switch a target small cell of the device from a closed state to an open state based on the access requirement of the UE, and reallocate to the target small cell a new physical cell identifier different from the physical cell identifier used in the closed state. A physical cell identifier can be dynamically allocated in accordance with the open/closed state of the small cell, reducing the burden of cell planning and maintenance cost, and having greater flexibility.
Systems and methods for resolution of uniform resource locators in a local network
In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a method for resolving a uniform resource locator may include receiving, at a router, a uniform resource locator from a client information handling system within a local network of the router. The method may also include processing, by the router, the uniform resource locator to determine if the uniform resource locator includes a local domain name of a local information handling system within the local network. The method may further include resolving, by the router, a unique address associated with the uniform resource locator and the local information handling system responsive to determining that the uniform resource locator includes the local domain name of the local information handling system, wherein such resolving is performed without resort to a domain name service external to the local network.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF EMAIL ADDRESSES OF CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS AND VERIFICATION THEREOF
A method includes obtaining an identifier of an individual. The individual is associated with an entity such that the individual has an email address in a domain corresponding to the entity. The method also includes determining one or more candidate domains such that: the one or more candidate domains potentially correspond to the entity; and the individual potentially has the email address in at least one of the one or more candidate domains. The method further includes determining one or more candidate email addresses in at least one of the one or more candidate domains. The method additionally includes testing the one or more candidate email addresses and the one or more candidate domains to determine the email address of the individual in the domain corresponding to the entity.
Preventing collision of mobile session identifiers in neutral host network
A first identifier of a mobile session is generated for a mobile device accessing a network operating in an unlicensed radio band, wherein at least one part of the first mobile session identifier comprises a decimal format consistent with an identifier recognizable by a network operating in a licensed radio band. The first mobile session identifier is compared to one or more previously generated mobile session identifiers currently allocated in the unlicensed radio band network to prevent collision there between.
Systems and methods for managing top-level domain names using consortium blockchain
The present disclosure relates generally to internet technology and more specifically to managing Top-level domain (TLD) name based on blockchain. An example method of managing Top-level domain name comprises the following steps: A. Using TLD nodes to form alliance network in the blockchain; B. Layering the system architecture in the alliance network to separate operations and data; and C. Reaching consensus among all nodes in the alliance network through consensus mechanism. A more effective and efficient consensus mechanism will increase the safety and reliability of the system and improve the efficiency of the system. Layering the system structure will ensure the efficiency and portability of the system.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN SEGMENT ROUTING
In general, techniques are described for conflict resolution in source packet routing in networking. For example, a first router receives a first advertisement originated in a first Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) level. The first advertisement specifies a first prefix and a segment identifier (SID). The first router also receives a second advertisement originated in a second IGP level of the network. The second advertisement specifies a second prefix and the SID. Based on the first advertisement and the second advertisement specifying the same SID and based on the first IGP level having less visibility than the second IGP level, the first router selects the SID to be associated with a route to the first prefix.
DOMAIN NAME PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A domain processing system is enhanced with a first-pass domain filter configured for loading character strings representing a pair of domains consisting of a seed domain and a candidate domain in a computer memory, computing a similarity score and a dynamic threshold for the pair of domains, determining whether the similarity score exceeds the dynamic threshold, and iterating the loading, the computing, and the determining for each of a plurality of candidate domains paired with the seed domain. A similarity score between the seed domain and the candidate domain and a corresponding dynamic threshold for the pair are computed. If the similarity score exceeds the corresponding dynamic threshold, the candidate domain is provided to a downstream computing facility. Otherwise, it is dropped. In this way, the first-pass domain filter can significantly reduce the number of domains that otherwise would need to be processed by the downstream computing facility.
