Providing a service to a user device based on a capability of the user device when the user device shares an identifier

A device may receive, from multiple user devices associated with a shared identifier, registration information that includes a unique identifier for each user device of the multiple user devices, and capability information that identifies one or more capabilities of each user device. The device may store the registration information. The device may receive, from a service provider device, a query associated with providing a service, requiring a particular capability, to at least one of the user devices associated with the shared identifier. The query may include the shared identifier. The device may determine, based on the query and the stored registration information, a set of unique identifiers associated with the shared identifier, and may determine a set of capabilities corresponding to each unique identifier. The device may provide, to the service provider device, information that identifies the set of unique identifiers and the set of capabilities.

Multiple device and multiple line connected home and home monitoring
10200479 · 2019-02-05 · ·

Systems, devices, and techniques for multiple device and multiple line enabled computing devices and computing appliances are described herein. A device number can be assigned to a computing device and can be unique to the computing device. A plurality of alias numbers can be provided to the computing device and enabled for use by the computing device. Alias numbers can be enabled on multiple computing appliances, such that a user can transfer voice or video calls between devices using the alias numbers. Further, monitoring components in a home environment, for example, can be associated with one or more alias number so that security alerts can be provided to the various computing devices and computing appliances associated with the alias numbers.

ANCHORING INTERNET PROTOCOL MULTICAST SERVICES IN INFORMATION CENTRIC NETWORKS

Some embodiments include systems, methods, and devices for enabling communication between at least two internet protocol (IP)-only wireless transmit/receive units (WTRUs), at least one of which is connected to an information centric network (ICN). The WTRU may send a generic attribute registration multicast registration protocol (GMRP) request on a local IP link to an information centric network (ICN) network attachment point (NAP). The NAP may receive and register the GMRP request with an internal database (DB) along with an IP multicast address entry matching the GMRP request. The WTRU may then send an IP multicast packet to the NAP for dissemination to an IP multicast group over an ICN by encapsulating the IP multicast packet in an ICN packet.

Domain and invite management in a group-based communication system

Methods, systems, apparatuses, devices, and computer program products are described. A group-based communication system may support domain and invite management, for example, for a group-based communication channel. A first user may create a channel invite and may add an email address for a second user to the invite. The second user may have multiple accounts in the group-based communication system. The system may determine that the domain of the second user's email address has an organization configured as the primary organization for the domain, and the system may automatically configure the invite to correspond to an account for the second user that is associated with the domain's primary organization. The system may route the invite to the account associated with the primary organization and may send the invite (e.g., a channel invite to the group-based communication channel) to a second user device associated with the second user.

The invention is an improvement to an originally patented invention titled the Global portal network that allows the use of any domain name followed by a name or email address in the address bar of any internet browser to, using an algorithm that is part of the platform, generate and implement a query that will cause the internet browser to publish information stored in an active directory system and/or database that is on the platform.

Method for acquiring identifier of terminal in network, management network element and storage medium

The embodiment of the present invention discloses a method for acquiring an identifier of a terminal in a network. The method includes: acquiring a device identifier of a current terminal which is registered in a network, herein the current terminal is a mobile user; and allocating a corresponding network identifier to the current terminal according to the device identifier of the current terminal such that the current terminal transmits data in the network by using the allocated network identifier, herein, the network identifier is a fixed public network Internet Protocol IP address or a fixed public network IP address and port number segment, allocated to the current terminal. The present invention further discloses a management network element and a computer storage medium.

DIRECT TRANSMISSION OF DATA BETWEEN APPLICATIONS IN A MULTI-TENANT ENVIRONMENT
20180331999 · 2018-11-15 ·

Overhead of sending data from one application to another by doing input and output processing can be costly. The present invention provides a method of transmitting data with a low overhead between applications in a multi-tenant runtime environment. The multi-tenant runtime detects a connection between tenants, and then performs low-overhead data transmission mechanisms by cloning data from one tenant space to another tenant space, while keeping the data isolated for two tenants.

Systems and methods for providing content and services on a network system

Systems and methods for managing and providing content and services on a network system. Aspects of the invention include controlling user perceived connection speed. Other aspects of the invention include authorization and authentication components that determine access rights of client computers. Additional aspects include systems and methods for directing client computers to select connection speed. The disclosed systems and methods may be used in numerous network system applications.

Session-based matching of mutable browser identifiers
10103931 · 2018-10-16 · ·

Systems and methods for session-based matching of mutable browser identifiers are provided. Information may be stored regarding a plurality of mutable browser identifiers each unique to an associated website and one or more maps each associating a immutable browser identifier to one or more mutable browser identifiers. Such a immutable browser identifier may be unique to an associated browser. Further, information may be received from a computing device that has used a browser to download a website. Such downloaded website may include a reference to a mutable browser identifier specific to the downloaded website. The referenced mutable browser identifier may be identified as corresponding to one of the stored mutable browser identifiers. The session information of the referenced mutable browser identifier in the received information may be compared to the session information of the corresponding stored mutable browser identifier. Stored information associated with the corresponding stored mutable browser identifier may be updated based on the comparison.

PCEP EXTENSION TO SUPPORT FLEXI-GRID OPTICAL NETWORKS
20180278458 · 2018-09-27 ·

A computer-implemented method of requesting a path on a flexi-grid network comprises: sending, by a path computation client (PCC), a request for a path to a path computation element (PCE), the request including the request including: a label that identifies spectrum to be restricted from use in the path; and a channel spacing field; and receiving, by the PCC and from the PCE, a response to the request, the response including an identifier of an assigned path on the flexi-grid network.
