TRUSTED ADVISOR FOR IMPROVED SECURITY
20200329056 · 2020-10-15 ·

Disclosed are methods and systems for improving security via a trusted advisor. The disclosed embodiments recognize that some computer users may benefit from oversight by another individual, who may have more computer expertise and be better equipped to evaluate whether security implicating changes to a computer are appropriate. To that end, the disclosed embodiments provide for a notification to a trusted advisor in the event that particular events on the computer meet a criterion. For example, an attempt to launch or install a program having particular characteristics may benefit from a review by a trusted advisor.

INTELLIGENT ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS ACROSS HETEROGENEOUS COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

A computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a gateway, a message for a recipient, responsive to the message being sent to the recipient at a first address. One or more rules are evaluated to select a preferred communication channel of the recipient, from among two or more communication channels. A channel-specific address of the recipient on the preferred communication channel is determined, where the channel-spec address differs from the first address. The message is directed, by the gateway, to the channel-specific address of the recipient to deliver the message to the recipient through the preferred communication channel.

Systems and methods for screening electronic communications

According to certain aspects of the disclosure, a computer-implemented method computer-implemented method may be used for screening electronic communications. The method may comprise analyzing contents of an electronic communication to determine whether the contents include sensitive information. A recipient list of the electronic communication may be compared to a screening list. Based on the analyzing and the comparing, it may be determined whether the contents are permitted to be transmitted to the recipient list. Upon determining that the contents are not permitted to be transmitted to at least one party of the recipient list, a notification may be provided to an author of the electronic communication indicating that contents are not permitted to be transmitted to the at least one party of the recipient list.

Identification of a significant communication from a revived contact

A system identifies a significant communication from a revived contact. A user and the contact interact, and the interaction is monitored to determine a weighted significance value to attribute to the contact. The interaction may include communication, a designation of significance by the user, and organizational associations. The weighted significance value is attributed to the contact. A subsequent communication is detected and a weighted time difference value for the subsequent communication is determined. If the subsequent communication satisfies a significant communication condition, then the subsequent communication is designated as a significant communication.

Automotive wheel overlay attachment system

A vehicle wheel overlay attachment system disclosed herein provides for wheel overlays, or wheel skins, that are readily installable over existing wheels by securing directly to a wheel center cap. The center cap is adapted to be inserted into the center hub portion of the wheel, much like a traditional center cap, but also contains a system for securing a wheel overlay to the center cap. When properly installed on the center cap, the wheel overlay will be snugly positioned over the wheel thereby changing the appearance of the vehicle wheel.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, MAIL SERVER, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM

A communication apparatus is connected to a communication line by using a dynamically-set global Internet-Protocol address and includes a detector and a transmitting unit. The detector detects a change in the global Internet-Protocol address. The transmitting unit transmits the changed global Internet-Protocol address to a mail server when the detector detects the change in the global Internet-Protocol address, so that the changed global Internet-Protocol address is registered in an Internet-Protocol-address limiting function of the mail server.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CREATING ONLINE UNIFIED CONTACT AND COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT (CM) PLATFORM
20200160618 · 2020-05-21 ·

Salespeople (agents) get engaged with a lot of contacts from past, present and future prospects that manifests on multiple contact platforms. They end up having their contacts and calendars split in multiple places including communication and messages leading to inefficiencies, loss of business and delayed response time to the end customer. Customer Relationship Management today is still a one dimensional tool, one that featured Email as the core for direct agent-client relationship. CRM should be redefined and relabeled as Communication Management to open up the idea that relationships with clients are developed across multiple platforms though multiple channels. As will be understood by reading below, the invention accomplishes this in an elegant manner. The phrases Communication Management in the main patent title and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) have the same semantics in this document.

Managing access to communication sessions with communication identifiers of users and using chat applications

A server is configured to provide a service that manages access to communication sessions supported by at least one communication service and to which user devices connect. The service assigns to users registered with the service respective communication identifiers that the users, and unregistered users of the service, use to access the communication sessions via user devices. The service maps each communication identifier to a list of communication sessions, if any, in which the respective user is currently participating and/or is scheduled to participate. The service receives from a user device a join request from a requester. The join request indicates a particular communication identifier of a particular user registered with the service and a requester identifier. The service connects the user device to a communication session, if any, based on the particular communication identifier and the requester identifier.

Group Email Management

Systems and methods for providing an enhanced managed email service are provided. According to the disclosed subject matter, the enhanced managed email service maintains a group folder for each defined email group. Rather than delivering a received email to the email folder of each member of an email group, upon receiving an email for distribution to a defined email group, the enhanced managed email service stores the email in a group folder corresponding to the email group for the entire email group. Email specifically identifying one or more recipients (in addition to group membership) is delivered to the specifically identified recipient(s). The enhanced managed email service maintains user access status with regard to the email in the group folder for each of the members of the email group. Email group members may access the email via the group folder.
