Gateway registry methods and systems
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for managing a gateway device. A user may establish an account for managing a gateway device. The account may be assigned to a remote server to allow remote management of the gateway device. The gateway device may be configured by sending the connection information of the remote server to the gateway device.
IMS emergency calls for roaming UEs
A method in a proxy call session control function, P-CSCF, of handling an unauthenticated emergency call originating from a roaming user equipment that is not attached to the P-CSCF. The P-CSCF receives a session initiation protocol (SIP) REGISTER request from the UE, where the REGISTER request relating to the emergency registration. The P-CSCF determines an IP address of the UE. The P-CSCF sends an identity query to a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) indicating the IP address of the UE and requesting other identifiers of the UE. The P-CSCF receives one or more other identifiers of the UE from the PCRF. The P-CSCF obtains a TEL and/or SIP uniform resource identifier (URI) for the UE on the basis of at least one of the one or more other identifiers. The P-CSCF sends a 200 OK response to the UE in response to the SIP REGISTER request, where the 200 OK response includes the TEL and/or SIP URI. Also provided are corresponding methods in other nodes and for authenticated emergency calls, and apparatus for implementing the methods.
ELECTRONIC DEVIE TO PROVIDE MULTIMEDIA CONTENT, SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR
An electronic device including: one or more processors to control operations thereof, to simultaneously process multiple wireless signals received from a plurality of multimedia devices transmitting streaming media content and to transmit the processed wireless signals to another one of the plurality of multimedia devices; a storage device to store received broadcast media content; and a network controller to wirelessly receive streaming broadcast media content from a plurality of broadcast media sources, to provide a wired and a wireless connectivity to the plurality of multimedia devices, to exchange media processing capabilities between the electronic device and the plurality of multimedia devices after establishing network connections therebetween, to receive a wireless signal including streaming media content from at least one of the plurality of multimedia devices, and to stream a processed version of the received wireless signal including streaming media content to another one of the plurality of multimedia devices, the processed version of the received wireless signal including streaming media content being processed based on the received media processing capabilities of the multimedia device receiving the transmitted wireless signal including streaming media content.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND MEDIA FOR MEDIA CONTENT STREAMING DEVICE SETUP
Systems, methods, and media for setting up a media content streaming device are provided. In some implementations, the systems comprise: a first communication interface that is configured to provide a media output to a media content presentation device; a second communication interface that is configured to transfer data; and a hardware processor that is configured to: retrieve a setup application in response to detecting a connection between the media content streaming device and a user device via the second communication interface; cause the setup application to be launched on the user device; receive, from the user device, information relating to setting up the media content streaming device; set up the media content streaming device based on the received information relating to setting up the media content streaming device; and prompt a user to connect the media content streaming device to the media content presentation device via the second communication interface.
INTERNET PROTOCOL MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM EMERGENCY CALLS FOR ROAMING USER EQUIPMENTS
A method of operating a user equipment (“UE”) to handle an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (“IMS”) emergency call can include sending a session initiation protocol (“SIP”) REGISTER request relating to an emergency registration to a proxy call session control function (“P-CSCF”) of an IMS network. The method can further include, responsive to sending the SIP REGISTER request, receiving a response from the P-CSCF. The method can further include, responsive to receiving the response, performing an action based on the response.
INTERNET PROTOCOL MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM EMERGENCY CALLS FOR ROAMING USER EQUIPMENTS
A method of operating a policy and charging rules function (“PCRF”) node to handle an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (“IMS”) emergency call can include receiving an identity request from a proxy call session control function (“P-CSCF”) of an IMS network. The identity request can include an internet protocol (“IP”) address for a user equipment (“UE”). The method can further include, responsive to receiving the identity request, determining one or more identifiers of the UE based on the IP address. The one or more identifiers are separate from the IP address. The method can further include, responsive to determining the one or more identifiers, transmitting an indication of the one or more identifiers of the UE to the P-CSCF.
Securely bridging advertising identifiers for targeted advertising
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a mobile device gateway that receives an HTTP POST message including an advertising identifier from a mobile device, determining whether a uniform resource locator of the HTTP POST message is on a list of URLs for data management platforms; and routing the HTTP POST message to the Internet responsive to determining that the URL of the HTTP POST message is not on the list of URLs for data management platforms. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Telephone number platform
A unified platform for managing telephone number (TN) ordering and procurement lifecycles is provided. The unified platform provides or interacts with functionality for reservations, porting, conflict checks, testing, and industry notification functionality. An associated graphical user interface provides the functionality to a variety of users including customers, salespeople, and order managers.
System and method for generating a unified address book
A system and method for generating a unified address book includes a processor, a network interface and a memory storing an address book. The address book is comprised of an electronic address records in a preset or preexisting data record format. Each electronic address record of the address is scanned to generate address records to form a unified address book where records are stored in a unified address format. Generated address records are communicated to an associated data device via the network interface. Additional address records are received from the network interface and the unified address book is supplemented with additional received address records.
IMS emergency calls for roaming UEs
A method in a proxy call session control function, P-CSCF, of handling an unauthenticated emergency call originating from a roaming user equipment, UE, which is not attached to the P-CSCF. The P-CSCF receives a SIP INVITE request from the UE, the INVITE request relating to the unauthenticated emergency call, and determines an IP address of the UE. The P-CSCF sends an identity query to a policy and charging rules function, PCRF, indicating the IP address of the UE and requesting other identifiers of the UE, and receives one or more other identifiers of the UE from the PCRF. The P-CSCF constructs a TEL and/or SIP uniform resource identifier, URI, for the UE on the basis of at least one of said other identifiers, inserts the URI into the SIP INVITE request, and sends the SIP INVITE request to a public safety answering point, PSAP. Also provided are corresponding methods in other nodes and for authenticated emergency calls, and apparatus for implementing the methods.
