Method for internet protocol based multimedia subsystem registration and device, communication device, and storage medium

The disclosure relates to a method for Internet Protocol based Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) registration and device, a communication device, and a storage medium. The method for IMS registration includes determining whether a network side supports an IMS service; acquiring, based on an IMS Access Point Name (APN), an address for the IMS registration when the network side supports the IMS service; performing the IMS registration based on the acquired address for the IMS registration; and initiating an IMS re-registration when the IMS registration fails.

CALL SCREENING SERVICE FOR DETECTING FRAUDULENT INBOUND/OUTBOUND COMMUNICATIONS WITH SUBSCRIBER DEVICES
20210203779 · 2021-07-01 ·

An example method of operation may include one or more of identifying an inbound call intended for a mobile device subscribed to a protected carrier network, determining the inbound call is assigned an origination telephone number that is subscribed to the protected carrier network, determining whether an inbound call origination source location indicates the protected carrier network or an out-of-network carrier network based on one or more call parameters received with the inbound call, and determining whether to transmit an indication to the mobile device that the inbound call has an elevated likelihood of being a scam call based on the inbound call origination source location.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR VOICE RESTORATION FOR ORIGINATING CALLS
20210281646 · 2021-09-09 ·

Systems and methods are described herein for call processing. A failed call attempt with a primary network computing device may be restored by a secondary network computing device. The call may be restored without disconnecting the call session or requiring the call originator to be registered with the secondary network computing device. Restoration information may be placed at various network computing devices in a system to restore failed calls. The restoration information may comprise data associated with a user registration. The secondary network computing device may receive the restoration information when the primary network computing device is not responding. The secondary network computing device may process the call.

Method for estimating the time-varying energy balance of a collection of energy sinks, harvesters, and storage devices

An embodiment of the invention includes a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to carry out a method for scheduling at least one activity to achieve a time-varying energy balance of a power system. A mission plan for a mission is received. The mission plan includes at least one activity and at least one route. Each route of the at least one route includes at least one time and at least one location. A plurality of power load identifications is received for at least one time-varying power load for use in the mission plan. A plurality of energy storage device identifications is received for at least one energy storage device. Based on the plurality of power load identifications, a power requirement required to complete the mission plan is determined using the at least one power load. Based at least in part on the mission plan and the plurality of energy storage device identifications, an available power for the mission is determined. The at least one activity along the at least one route is scheduled based on the power requirement and the available energy.

Registration of multi-port device

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for registering a multi-port device. A computing device may receive a registration request from a user device supporting multiple ports. In response, the computing device may send to the user device a message including a plurality of telephone numbers and information of associated ports.

Network system with request redirect capability for MSISDN header enrichment

A cellular device is used to make a first HTTP request to a host. The host returns a token to the cellular device. The cellular device sends a second HTTP request to a cellular data network in response to receiving the token. The cellular data network header-enriches the second HTTP request with the MSISDN of the cellular device and forwards the second request to the host.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR NON-INTERNET PROTOCOL (NON-IP) DATA DELIVERY BETWEEN USER EQUIPMENT (UEs) AND MULTIPLE APPLICATION SERVERS (ASs)

A method for mobile originated (MO) non-Internet protocol data delivery (NIDD) to plural application servers (ASs) includes creating an AS group NIDD context record at an exposure function node for an AS group including a plurality of ASs to receive MO NIDD communications from a same UE. The method further includes receiving, at the exposure function node, a request for creating a single packet data network (PDN) connection with the exposure function node on behalf of the UE. The method further includes updating the AS group NIDD context record to include PDN connection information for the single PDN connection. The method further includes receiving, at the exposure function node and over the single PDN connection, MO NIDD data from the UE. The method further includes distributing, from the exposure function node and using the AS group NIDD context record, the MO NIDD data to each of the plural ASs identified as members of the group in the AS group NIDD context record.

SERVICE IDENTIFIER ALLOCATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS IN COMPUTING-AWARE NETWORK

A service identifier allocation method in a computing-aware network includes requesting, by a terminal device, a computing management function to deploy a computing service by using information for obtaining the computing service. The method also includes receiving, by the terminal device, a notification from the computing management function. The notification indicates that deployment of the computing service is completed. The method further includes sending, by the terminal device, a service request packet to a first computing-aware user plane function. The service request packet is used to request the computing service.

Method and Communication System for Storing Address of Network Anchor Point to Network Server

A method, apparatus and communication system for registering address information of a network anchor point to a network server, the method including receiving, by a packet data network gateway, a request message from a mobility management entity, determining, by the packet data network gateway in response to the request message, to register identity information of the packet data network gateway to a home subscriber server, and registering, to the home subscriber server, by the packet data network gateway in response to the determining to register the identity information, the identity information of the packet data network gateway and an access point name corresponding to the packet data network gateway.

Method for supporting lawful interception of remote prose UE in network

The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging, with an IoT technology, a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services, such as smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail businesses, and security and safety related services, on the basis of 5G communications technologies and IoT-related technologies. More specifically, a method for operating relay user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system of the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting, to a mobility management entity (MME) connected to relay UE, a remote UE report message comprising remote UE information on remote UE accessing a network via the relay UE; and receiving, from the MME, a response message corresponding to the remote UE report message.
