Service orchestration across multiple service domains
A method includes: (a) setting up a service orchestration rule set between a home operator and a sponsor service provider, managing a service domain for obtaining a data structure for a service definition object; (b) receiving a list of available services from the sponsor service provider; (c) receiving a subscriber selection of at least one service from the list; (d) adding a first set of data including subscriber specific data to the service definition object; (e) sending a service creation request to the sponsor service provider for subscribing to the selected service; and (f) receiving a response from the sponsor service provider including the service definition object complemented with a second set of data to allow the selected service to be executed.
MESSAGE ROUTING TO DEVICES WITH NON-ROUTABLE ADDRESSES
The disclosed system provides for machine-to-machine routing of messages (e.g., text messages, binary information, etc.) between devices (e.g., external applications, IoT devices, etc.) using non-routable identifiers. The systems and methods publish an application programming interface (API) configured to receive (non-routable) identification information of a target device from an external application (e.g., an IoT Service Provider) that calls the API, determines whether a target device associated with the identification information is a subscriber of a telecommunications service provider that provides telecommunications plans to subscribers of the telecommunications service provider, verifies that the external application is authorized to transmit messages to the target device, and translates the non-routable identification information to a mapped device address that can be used to determine a location of the target device so that the message can be delivered to the target device.
Methods, systems, and devices for multiplexing service information from sensor data
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments a service multiplexer identifying a service associated with each of a group of sensors resulting in a group of services. Further embodiments include the service multiplexer creating a service portfolio according to the group of services. Additional embodiments include service multiplexer communicatively coupling to nodes over a 5th Generation (5G) network according to the service portfolio. The 5G network includes a control plane and user plane. Also, embodiments include service multiplexer continuously connecting to the control plane. Further embodiments include receiving data from the sensors. Additional embodiments include service multiplexer determining that the received data is associated with the service portfolio. Also, embodiments include service multiplexer identifying one or more of the nodes according to the service portfolio and sending the received data to the one or more of the nodes over the user plane. Other embodiments are disclosed.
CLIENT-BASED MANAGEMENT OF MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES
A calling user initiates a telephonic communication with a receiving user by dialing a phone number of the receiving user in his or her address book. The communication is transmitted from the calling user's device to the receiving user's device through a network that is not using Internet protocol or Internet-based, e.g., Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), Internet Protocol (IP), TCP-IP, or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). After a number of notifications has passed on the receiving user's device and the receiving user is not able to answer the telephonic communication, a local voicemail recorder will be activated to record and store the telephonic communication for later retrieval by the receiving user. The stored communication is identifier by a sequence of string containing at least one of a name, a telephone number, a storage location, a date-time attribute, and a duration associated with the stored communication.
Access point name management
A computer device may include a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to select to use an access point name (APN) table to be received from a wireless access network and attach to the wireless access network. The processor may be further configured to execute the instructions to receive a Protocol Configuration Options (PCO) message from the wireless access network; retrieve the APN table from the received PCO message; select an APN from the retrieved APN table; and connect to a packet data network associated with the selected APN via the wireless access network using the selected APN.
Method for estimating the time-varying energy balance of a collection of energy sinks, harvesters, and storage devices
An embodiment of the invention includes a computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by at least one computer, cause the at least computer to carry out a method for estimating a time-varying energy balance of a power system. A mission plan for a mission is received. The mission plan includes at least one activity and at least one route. Each route of the at least one route includes at least one time and at least one location. A plurality of power load identifications is received for at least one time-varying power load for use in the mission plan. A time-varying power requirement to complete the mission plan is determined. A baseline plurality of energy storage devices required to satisfy the time-varying power requirement is determined by the energy analysis code. The baseline plurality of energy storage devices includes a baseline number and type of energy storage devices.
METHOD FOR INTERNET PROTOCOL BASED MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM REGISTRATION AND DEVICE, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The disclosure relates to a method for Internet Protocol based Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) registration and device, a communication device, and a storage medium. The method for IMS registration includes determining whether a network side supports an IMS service; acquiring, based on an IMS Access Point Name (APN), an address for the IMS registration when the network side supports the IMS service; performing the IMS registration based on the acquired address for the IMS registration; and initiating an IMS re-registration when the IMS registration fails.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INFERRING ENTITY RELATIONSHIPS VIA NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS OF USERS OR USER DEVICES
A number of techniques facilitate generation of data points from observations about network traffic. An inferencing system can use these data points to determine whether a relationship exists between two entities or whether an existing relationship has terminated, without any external knowledge of the existence of or termination of such a relationship.
Services capability server triggered service capability exposure function connection establishment to support non IP data delivery
There is provided a system, method, and interfaces for control plane device triggering for a Public Land Mobile Network Packet Data Network (PDN). The network is configured to employ triggering via a T6a interface for an originating Machine-type communication server request to a Service Capability Exposure Function Server to initiate a PDN connection for User Equipment.
ESIM-based card pool system and control method thereof
An eSIM-based card pool system is disclosed, the system comprising: a card pool unit comprising a plurality of eSIMs; an eSIM manager, comprising a database that stores corresponding relationships between a plurality of eSIM identifications and a plurality of eSIM addresses; and a connection manager, configured to request a first eSIM address from the eSIM manager based on a received download instruction, and write a specified eSIM profile into a first eSIM having the first eSIM address.
