Apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving broadcast signal

A method for delivering data in a digital transmitter including generating service layer signaling (SLS) information comprising information for discovery and acquisition of at least one content component: generating service list table (SLT) information including bootstrap information for acquiring the SLS information; encapsulating the at least one content component, the SLS information and the SLT information via UDP/IP; and transmitting a broadcast signal comprising the at least one content component, the SLS information and the SLT information.

Method and device for configuring identical network components, and transportation vehicle

A method for configuring identical network components wherein network components are each connected to a physical port of a network switch via a network cable. An additional network station is also connected to the network switch. Configuration messages are transmitted from the additional network station to the network components wherein the configuration message of each network component communicates the physical port of the network switch to which the network component is connected. The network component performs a reconfiguration of its function in the network corresponding to the connection to the physical port.

Specifying a user group in a multicast domain name system

An access point that selectively provides a multicast domain name system (mDNS) message is described. During operation, the access point may receive an mDNS message, where the mDNS message includes an identifier of a group (such as a user group). For example, the identifier of the group may be included in the mDNS message when the mDNS message includes discovery information for a service. Moreover, the identifier may specify the portion of a subnet in a wireless local area network (WLAN) in a geographic region, such as a room, a floor or a building. Then, the access point may determine whether the access point or an electronic device is included in the group. When the access point or the electronic device is in the group, the access point may selectively provide the mDNS message addressed to the electronic device. Otherwise, the access point may drop the mDNS message.

INTERNET OF THINGS

The Internet can be configured to provide communications to a large number of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices. Devices can be designed to address the need for network layers, from central servers, through gateways, down to edge devices, to grow unhindered, to discover and make accessible connected resources, and to support the ability to hide and compartmentalize connected resources. Network protocols can be part of the fabric supporting human accessible services that operate regardless of location, time, or space. Innovations can include service delivery and associated infrastructure, such as hardware and software. Services may be provided in accordance with specified Quality of Service (QoS) terms. The use of IoT devices and networks can be included in a heterogeneous network of connectivity including wired and wireless technologies.

Remote desktop system and image data sharing method

A remote desktop system includes a primary virtual machine, a plurality of secondary virtual machines, a primary terminal configured to log in to the primary virtual machine, and a secondary terminal configured to log in to a secondary virtual machine. When a user of the primary virtual machine needs to share image data of the primary virtual machine with a user of the secondary terminal for viewing, the primary virtual machine sends the image data to the primary terminal, and then the primary terminal shares the image data with the secondary terminal. This reduces data transmission pressure on a communications network between a virtual machine center and a terminal center.
