Peer-to-peer syncable storage system
11677820 · 2023-06-13 · ·

A system for creating a sync group in a distributed system may include an offline electronic device having a short range communication transmitter and a storage service, and a computer-readable storage medium comprising one or more programming instructions. The system may receive a request from an application to create a sync group, and verify that the application has read access to the storage service. In response to verifying that the application has read access to the storage service, the system may create the sync group by receiving an indication of one or more objects stored in the storage service that are to be shared, identifying one or more members of the sync group, and assigning one or more permissions to the one or more members that are identified. The system may synchronize access to the objects among the electronic device and one or more member electronic devices.

In an instant messaging device, a selection is received from a user, where the selection specifying a plurality of contacts to participate in an instant messaging session. At least one attribute type corresponding to the at least one intended recipient is retrieved in response to detecting a trigger event relating to a message intended for at least one recipient among the plurality of contacts. A verification operation is retrieved for each of the retrieved at least one attribute type. At least one retrieved verification operations is executed. The message is sent to the at least one intended recipient in response to successful execution of the at least one of the retrieved verification operations.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR SCALABLE LOCAL ADDRESSING IN HIGH-PERFORMANCE NETWORK FABRICS
20170339103 · 2017-11-23 · ·

Technologies for scalable local addressing include one or more managed network devices coupled to one or more computing nodes via high-speed fabric links. A computing node may transmit a data packet including a destination local identifier (DLID) that identifies the destination computing node. The DLID may be 32, 24, 20, or 16 bits wide. The managed network device may determine whether the DLID is within a configurable multicast address space and, if so, forward the data packet to a multicast group. The managed network device may also determine whether the DLID is within a configurable collective address space and, if so, perform a collective acceleration operation. The number of top-most bits set in a multicast mask and the number of additional top-most bits set in a collective mask may be configured. Multicast LIDs may be converted between different bit lengths. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

A packet sending method includes obtaining, by a client device, an Internet Protocol (IP) anycast address of the anycast server cluster and an IP unicast address of the target server, generating, by the client device, an IP detection packet, where the IP detection packet is used to detect whether the target server is reachable based on the IP anycast address, and the IP detection packet includes the IP anycast address and the IP unicast address of the target server, and instructs the target server to replace the IP unicast address of the target server with the IP anycast address, and sending, by the client device, the IP detection packet to the target server.

Redundancy administrating method for virtual private network and network switching apparatus with the same method implemented therein

At least two egress provider edge (PE) routers of a service provider core network of a virtual private network are set as an anycast transport node. The same logical IP address and the same interior label are allocated to the egress PE routers. The same service label is allocated to virtual private networks, or private routes of virtual private networks, serviced by the two egress PE routers constituting the anycast transport node.

A data communication method, where a first device receives a request message from at least one second device, where the request message requests the first device to forward group data, and the request message carries a group identifier. The first device returns a response message to the at least one second device, where the response message carries a layer-2 address and an Internet Protocol (IP) address corresponding to the group identifier, and the first device sends the group data using the layer-2 address when receiving the group data sent by a third device to the IP address.

DATA FLOW TRANSMISSION METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM

The present invention relates to the communications field, and discloses a data flow transmission method, a device, and a system, so as to resolve a problem of resource waste caused when a relay user equipment provides a relay service for a remote user equipment. A specific solution is as follows: A first network device triggers a first relay user equipment to establish a common data flow bearer with a second network device, and the first network device sends an identifier of a common data flow to a remote user equipment in a first group before or after the first network device triggers the first relay user equipment to establish the common data flow bearer with the second network device. The present invention is applied to data flow transmission.
