FOOTWEAR SOLE, BOOT AND SANDAL
Aspects of the invention can be directed to a boot including a sole portion, a lower portion, and a boot shaft portion. The sole portion, the lower portion and the boot shaft portion can be formed as a unitary member composed of a single compound. The wherein the single compound can include: EVA in the range of 17% to 27%, POE in the range of 6% to 16%, SEBS in the range of 10% to 20%, and rubber in the range of 19% to 29%.
Polyurethane injected boot assembly and associated manufacturing method
A footwear assembly having an upper that comprises a neoprene sock with a foot portion integrally connected to a leg portion. The foot portion has heel, vamp and under-foot portions. The leg portion has front shin, side wall, and rear calf-side portions. The upper has a unitary, outer, injection molded layer molded directly onto the foot and shin portions of the neoprene sock, while the sidewall and rear calf-side portions remain substantially uncovered by the injection molded layer. The injection molded layer encases the foot portion of the neoprene sock. The injection molded layer on the shin portion defines a shin guard portion having a necked down area integrally connected to the injection molded layer at the vamp portion, wherein the shin guard extends upwardly from the necked-down portion in an outwardly diverging shape away from the vamp.

Footwear with zoned insulation
A method of assembling a boot is provided. The method comprises forming a first layer of insulation material of the boot covering a toe region, a saddle region, and a heel region of the boot; forming a second layer of insulation material of the boot that covers the saddle region and the toe region and does not cover the heel region of the boot; forming a third layer of insulation material that covers the toe region and does not cover the heel region and the saddle region of the boot; and attaching the first, the second, and the third layers of insulation material to an outsole of the boot.

ATHLETIC SHOE OUTSOLE WITH GRIP AND GLIDE TREAD PATTERN
An outsole for an athletic shoe that includes a heel section and a forefoot section. The heel and forefoot sections are on the outer surface of the outsole. The forefoot section includes a tread pattern that provides first and second ground friction forces. The first ground friction force promotes rotation in a first rotational direction about a rotation point of the forefoot section. The second ground friction force restricts rotation in a second rotational direction about the rotation point. The second rotational direction is opposite of the first rotational direction and the second ground friction force is greater than the first ground friction force.
Article of footwear with enlarged throat opening and selective ventilation
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper that is coupled to the sole structure to at least partially defining an internal volume that is operative to receive a foot of the wearer. The upper includes an enlarged throat opening that is in communication with the internal volume and a forwardly extending flap section that defines a portion of the enlarged throat opening. The flap section is operative to fold laterally across an instep portion of the upper to reduce the size of the throat opening. Additionally, a plurality of perforations extend through a portion of the upper on a first side of the flap section. Folding the flap section laterally in a first direction covers the plurality of perforations to provide selective water resistance. Conversely, folding the flap section laterally in a second direction exposes the plurality of perforations to provide ventilation to the interior volume.

Walking foot spa system
A system for the treatment of a foot includes a waterproof boot capable of receiving an insert with a plurality of nozzles and a dispensing ring. The insert can receive a human foot to be treated therein. The plurality of nozzles and dispensing ring are each in fluid communication with a pump, when energized, delivers a continuous flow of a fluid therethrough. In a preferred embodiment, the fluid is a medicinal, toxin extracting fluid.
