Inmate device and user interface for inmate initiated video visitation system
A secured party audio and audio/video communication system and method providing administration, management and control that includes a portable secured communication device in possession solely of a secured party positioned in a secured environment, the portable secured communication device being exclusive to the secured party and communicatively connectable only to a secured connection management system, in a secured connection management system hosting a secured communication device interface, hosting a remote communication device interface, storing in the database information related to the secured party, the portable secured communication system, and the external party, at least one of which includes a predetermined connection parameter, creating the selective communication between the portable secured communication device and only the remote communication device response to the stored database information and controlling a duration of the communication as a function of the predetermined connection parameter as stored in the database.
CALLER QUEUE PROCESS AND SYSTEM TO MANAGE INCOMING VIDEO CALLERS
A caller queue system and process for a video call-in system. The system includes a waiting room server that connects to a plurality of caller devices over a network. The waiting room server may provide content to the plurality of video caller devices and collects input received from the plurality of video caller devices. A queue managing module connected to the waiting room server prioritizes or sorts the plurality of video caller devices in a queue based on the input received from the plurality of video caller devices. The system allows a user or producer to prescreen and determine the priority of the callers and accept a higher number callers to be connected to the caller queue system.
Call transfer using session initiation protocol (SIP)
A system is provided for providing communication event routing and transfer capability in a multi-site communication-center environment. The system utilizes a presence protocol application and a routing application for determining availability of an agent or system and for setting up the transfer from a point of transfer on a network to a destination of transfer on the same or connected network. In a preferred use the presence protocol application is shared by communication-center sites cooperating in the transfer and routing of events and the presence protocol enables at least one event-handling process normally performed by the routing application.
System and method for recording online collaboration
Disclosed is an online collaboration recording system for recording an online collaboration session, comprising a computing arrangement in communication with a plurality of devices, wherein each device is accessible by a user during the online collaborating session, wherein in operation the computing arrangement executes instructions to synchronize a digital project in said online collaborating session amongst the plurality of devices, by: establishing, via communication module, said online collaboration session for performing collaborative work on the digital project, the digital project comprising at least one object; receiving, via the communication module or an input interface, a first user input and based thereon modifying one or more properties of the at least one object to form at least one modified object; recording temporally, via a recorder, the at least one modified object to compile a temporal record; and synchronizing, via the communication module, the temporal record amongst the plurality of devices.

TTI bundling method in wireless access systems and apparatus for same
The present invention relates to a transmission time interval (TTI) bundling method in wireless access systems and to an apparatus for same. In particular, the TTI bundling method includes the following steps: a terminal receives information indicating the bundling size value from a base station; the terminal automatically re-transmits packets through a predetermined number of TTIs following four TTIs without the reception of Acknowledgement/Negative-ACK (ACK/NACK) information for the packets from the base station; the terminal receives the ACK/NACK information for the packets from the base station; and the terminal retransmits packets in a Hybrid Automatic Repeat and Request (HARQ) scheme when receiving the NACK, wherein the predetermined number of TTIs is determined according to the bundling size value.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ADMISSION CONTROL OF A COMMUNICATION SESSION
Described herein are methods and systems for admission control of a communication session over a communication network. The methods and systems of the present disclosure may comprise determining whether a communication session originates from an originating device that is part of an autodialing system. If the communication session does originate from an autodialing system, the methods and systems can determine whether the autodialing system is a valid autodialing system or an invalid autodialing system. The methods and systems can process or block future communications sessions from the originating device depending on whether the autodialing system is a valid autodialing system or invalid autodialing system, respectively.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING MANAGED CALL RECORDING SERVICES
The supporting of the managed call recording is used for a call between a calling party and a called party, where a network node receives an invite message that initiates the call, and it is determined that either the calling party or the called party is a managed call recording (MCR) subscriber. A conference bridge is created for the calling party, the called party, and a session initiation protocol recording server (SRS), after the call has been answered by the called party. The network node transmits instructions to play MCR announcements using the conference bridge, prior to the call being connected between the calling party and the called party, where the call is recorded by the SRS.
Device, System, and Process for Wireless Call Hunting
A configuration to provide wireless call hunting includes a system configured to receive an incoming call to a wireless number, the system further configured to implement a plurality of lines that are associated with the wireless number, the system further configured to determine if one or more of the plurality of lines of the wireless number are busy, and the system further configured to determine if one or more of the plurality of lines of the wireless number are available. The system further configured to prevent connecting to one or more of the plurality of lines of the wireless number that are busy, and the system further configured to connect to one of the plurality of lines of the wireless number that is not busy, where the system includes one of the following: a soft switch and mobile telephone switching office. A process is disclosed as well.
Unifying web and phone presence
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a computer-implemented method that includes obtaining, at a computer system, a plurality of contact identifiers for a computer account holder, wherein the identifiers represent a plurality of different communication modes; identifying a handle for the account holder, wherein the handle is associated with a uniform resource locator; and correlating the handle with the plurality of contact identifiers, and storing the handle and plurality of contact identifiers together so as to permit retrieval of the contact identifiers in response to identification of the handle.
