The techniques comprise receiving a request from a first client computing device associated with a first user in the plurality of users to establish a communication with a second user in the plurality of users, the request specifying information associated with the communication; generating and transmitting data to a second client computing device associated with the second user for display of a user interface on the second client computing device, wherein the user interface indicates an invite of communication from the first user, and the user interface comprises information about the first user, the information associated with the communication, and selectable interface elements for accepting or declining the invite; and in response to receiving an indication of acceptance by the second user, establishing a communication channel between the first user and the second user.

A state of an electronic collaborative communication is managed relative to a continued quality evaluation of said network feed. For example, a network feed may be placed on hold and/or a communication suspended due to potential connectivity issues. A representation of a video feed may be updated and/or a communication resumed when a quality of that video feed is determined to satisfy a pre-selected quality threshold.

An Input stage, a suppression module and an output stage amplify the voice signal portion of the input signal and suppress the noise signal of input signal to predetermined ranges. The input stage selectively applies gains defined by a gain table, based on signal level of the input signal. The suppression module selectively applies a suppression gain to the input signal based on presence or absence of voice signal in the input signal.
