Distributed Content Uploading and Validation
20190182263 · 2019-06-13 ·

In accordance with one or more embodiments, aspects of the disclosure provide efficient, effective, and convenient ways of uploading and authenticating content. In particular, a user device may receive validating information from a wireless networking device. The user or client device may record a content item, and may insert a validation tag based on the validating information. The user or client device may then send the content item to the wireless networking device. The wireless networking device may receive the content item at a first location and may determine the validity of the content item based on the validating information. The user device may continually interact with wireless networking devices as it travels to continually upload content items while establishing the validity of the time and location of the content items.

Supplemental audio content for group communications
10321166 · 2019-06-11 · ·

Systems, methods, software and apparatus enable providing supplemental audio content to members of a communication group via a group communication service that manages the multiple member user nodes' transmission and receipt of communications between and among the member user nodes. A request for audio content (e.g., from the communication group or a member user node) causes the group communication service to launch a bot node member to locate and deliver the requested audio content. The audio content can be merged with user node communications (e.g., as transmission packets or as streaming audio content). In some implementations each user node includes a wearable push-to-talk end user device linked to a communication device executing a communication application connected to the group communication service.

Method and device for responding to a query
10321278 · 2019-06-11 · ·

A process and device for responding to a query includes receiving, at an electronic computing device, a query for providing a response at a first communication device. The process further includes determining that the response to the query is to be provided as a group response to communication devices in the first communication group. When one or more of the communication devices do not have permission to receive the group response, the electronic computing device causes modification of the group response to generate a second response and provides the second response to at least one of the communication devices in the first communication group. Alternatively, the electronic computing device alters an output action and provides the group response to at least one of the communication devices in the first communication group in accordance with the altered output action.

Call processing system and method based on answer mode of push to talk over cellular user

Call processing methods and apparatuses are provided in a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based network involving at least one Push-to-Talk (PTT) over Cellular PoC client and a reception side PoC server. The reception side PoC server receives an INVITE request including a Manual Answer Override (MAO) indication from a transmission side PoC server. The MAO indication is for establishing an auto-answer mode in a pre-established session. If a reception side PoC client has the pre-established session with the reception side PoC server, the reception side PoC server sends an OK response to the transmission side PoC server in response to the INVITE request. The reception side PoC server sends a communication connection request including the MAO indication to the reception side PoC client. The MAO indication is used to determine that a transmission side PoC client is an authorized user with respect to the reception side PoC client.

System and method for managing audio cut-in policy in MCPTT communication

The present disclosure provides a method and system for audio cut-in functionality in a mission critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) system. The method includes receiving, by a floor control server, a first floor request message, from a primary floor participant while a floor is granted to a secondary floor participant, applying, by the floor control server, an audio cut-in policy, granting, by the floor control server, the floor to the primary floor participant while terminating a media transmission of the secondary floor participant by revoking the floor from the secondary floor participant, and transmitting, by the floor control server, a first floor taken message to the secondary floor participant, wherein the first floor taken message includes information of the primary floor participant.

MOBILE TERMINAL AND PRODUCT REGISTRATION METHOD THEREOF
20240193614 · 2024-06-13 ·

A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure can receive an automatic registration request for automatic registration of one of one or more home appliances displayed on an automatic registration guide screen, and display an automatic registration process screen indicating that automatic registration of the corresponding home appliance is in progress in response to the received automatic registration request.

NOTIFICATION DELIVERY MECHANISM FOR PRESENT VIEWING USERS
20190158438 · 2019-05-23 ·

Implementations disclose a notification delivery mechanism for present viewing users. A method includes identifying a notification to be sent to a user having a plurality of user devices; selecting a first user device of the plurality of user devices based on a playback state of the first user device; and upon selecting the first user device, transmitting the notification to the first user device without transmitting the notification to other user devices of the plurality of user devices.

Method and system for switching a push-based video call between devices in a group
10298879 · 2019-05-21 · ·

Methods, devices, and systems are provided herein related to a connection management server connected to a signaling server, a push server, at least one home device, and at least two smart devices. The connection management server includes a connection management request receiver for receiving a video call connection request or a user switching request. A connection management request transmitter is also included for transmitting a connection state releasing request to the home device and the first smart device, for transmitting a video call push notification transmission request to the push server upon the video call connection request, and for transmitting a user switching push notification transmission request to the push server upon the user switching request. A group manager is also included for managing, in a group, smart device identity corresponding to a push notification sent from the push server.

Method for Applying for Media Transmission Permission, and Method and Apparatus for Canceling Media Transmission Permission
20190150222 · 2019-05-16 ·

A method for applying for media transmission permission, and a method and an apparatus for canceling media transmission permission are provided. The method for applying for media transmission permission includes: determining, by a first terminal, that a second terminal needs to transmit media data; and sending, by the first terminal, media transmission permission request indication information to a mission critical service (MCS) server, where the media transmission permission request indication information is used to instruct the MCS server to grant media transmission permission to the second terminal.

METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING A PLURALITY OF WIRELESS-RADIO EQUIPPED CAMERA SYSTEMS IN A TALKGROUP
20190137998 · 2019-05-09 ·

A process for controlling a plurality of mobile-radio equipped robots in a talkgroup includes receiving, at a mobile-radio equipped robot via a wireless communications interface comprising one of an infrastructure wireless communication interface for communicating with an infrastructure radio access network (RAN) and an ad-hoc wireless communication interface for communicating with an ad-hoc network, a group voice call containing a voice-command. The mobile-radio equipped robot determines that it is a target of the group voice call, and responsively text-converts the voice-command into an actionable text-based command. The mobile-radio equipped robot subsequently operates a mechanical drive element in accordance with the actionable text-based command.
