Establishing a session initiation protocol session
The present disclosure describes methods and systems for establishing a Session Initiation Protocol Session. One method includes transmitting a first message requesting authentication configuration information; in response to the first message, receiving a second message that includes the authentication configuration information; transmitting a third message that includes authentication information based upon the received authentication configuration information; receiving an authentication challenge request that is formatted according to the second protocol; and in response to receiving the authentication challenge request, transmitting an authentication response to the second network node.
Radio gateway tranmission failure notification
Methods and systems for indicating an audio forwarding failure at a Radio-over-Internet-Protocol (RoIP) gateway device of a RoIP system is disclosed. In one step, audio communication is detected from a radio handset communicatively coupled with the RoIP gateway device and is buffered. When an error in forwarding the audio communication to at least a portion of devices connected to the RoIP system, an audio notification indicative of the error is sent to the radio handset after determining the audio communication from the radio handset has ended.
Method for transmitting stream, streaming server and storage medium
A method for transmitting a stream includes: receiving a streaming request from a stream receiver, in which the streaming request includes a stream identifier and a type of the stream receiver; obtaining an encapsulated stream by performing protocol encapsulation on a stream corresponding to the stream identifier based on a streaming protocol corresponding to the type; and transmitting the encapsulated stream to the stream receiver.
Embedding MQTT messages in media streams
This disclosure provides embedding a messaging channel directly into a media stream, where messages delivered via the embedded messaging channel are the extracted at a client media player. An advantage of embedding a message is that it can be done in a single ingest point and then passes transparently through a CDN architecture, effectively achieving message replication using the native CDN media delivery infrastructure.
Enhancements for real-time text (RTT) call control over an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network
A first UE receives a first Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) INVITE message requesting the first UE to place the RTT call on hold, during an ongoing Real-Time Text (RTT) call with a second UE. In response to the first SIP INVITE message, the first UE sends a first SIP 200 OK message to the second UE, and the first SIP 200 OK message indicates that the first UE is not allowed to send and receive media data. After sending the first SIP 200 OK message, the first UE receives a second SIP INVITE message requesting the first UE to resume the RTT call. In response to the second SIP INVITE message, the first UE sends a third SIP INVITE message to the second UE, and the third SIP INVITE message indicates that the first UE is allowed to send and receive media data.
INSTANT COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM HAVING ESTABLISHED COMMUNICATION CHANNELS BETWEEN COMMUNICATION DEVICES
A communication server and accompanying communication devices allow near instantaneous communication between users of the communication devices. A communication device may be configured with multiple channels, where each channel is assigned a corresponding communication device. As the communication devices are registered with the communication server, each communication device has knowledge of other registered communication devices. Thus, communication devices may communicate nearly instantaneously with each other. Furthermore, as the communication device is equipped with multiple channels, a single communication device may host a conference call with other communication devices. In addition, communication device may include multiple buttons to control the communication device, and indicator lights to indicate the status of calls with other communication devices
METHOD FOR GROUP CALL FLOOR CONTROL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREFOR
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, at least one processor, and a memory. The memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to participate in a push-to-talk (PTT) session of an off-network mode, receive a media packet including media data from an external electronic device of the PTT session while possessing a floor of the PTT session, determine whether the floor of the PTT session is maintained, on the basis of at least one parameter included in the header of the media packet, and transmit, when the floor of the PTT session is not maintained, a message indicating release of the floor of the PTT session.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MEDIA STREAMING
A method for providing a media stream to a user equipment (UE) by a server apparatus may include: receiving, from a content provider, the media stream to be provided to the UE, and storing the same; rendering an image of the stored media stream; generating, as a frame, the rendered image and instruction information relating to the rendered image; and encoding the generated frame to transmit the same to the UE through a network, wherein the instruction information instructs at least one of storage, reuse, and a report request of the transmitted image, an update of a pre-stored image, and deletion of the pre-registered image.
Systems and methods for managing different types of registrations for IMS services on SIMs of a wireless communication device
Methods and devices are disclosed for managing Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service registration on a wireless communication device having at least one SIM that supports IMS services. The wireless communication device may access network operator policies stored in the SIM(s), and identify enabled IMS services for each SIM. The wireless communication device may also identify, based on the accessed network operator policies, a registration type for each enabled IMS service on each SIM, determine whether to perform a single registration or a dual IMS registration for each of the at least one SIM, perform the determined registration using the accessed network operator policies, and maintain registration of the enabled IMS services for each SIM.
