Apparatus and method for providing media streaming
A method for providing a media stream to a user equipment (UE) by a server apparatus may include: receiving, from a content provider, the media stream to be provided to the UE, and storing the same; rendering an image of the stored media stream; generating, as a frame, the rendered image and instruction information relating to the rendered image; and encoding the generated frame to transmit the same to the UE through a network, wherein the instruction information instructs at least one of storage, reuse, and a report request of the transmitted image, an update of a pre-stored image, and deletion of the pre-registered image.

A system for managing turn-based audio communications includes a user identity that is assignable to a communication device of a plurality of communication devices. The communication device is configured to communicate the turn-based audio communications on at least one channel. The system also includes a monitoring module that monitors at least one communication attribute of the at least one channel. Control circuitry is communicatively coupled with the monitoring module and is configured to determine a modification for the at least one channel based on the at least one communication attribute and adjust a messaging feature of the at least one channel in response to the modification. The messaging feature includes at least one of a timer for push-to-talk (PTT) messaging, a membership of the user identity to the at least one channel, and a priority level for the at least one channel.

Method and terminal for implementing communication
Provided is a method performed by a terminal of performing communication, the method including generating a private call setup request message including a call identifier information element (IE), a caller IE, a callee IE, and a call type IE set to an emergency private call, based on receiving a user indication to upgrade a call to emergency call, wherein the terminal is in an in-progress private call state; setting a proximity-based services (ProSe) per-packet priority corresponding to the emergency private call; transmitting, to another terminal, the private call setup request message; starting a timer relating to private call request retransmission based on the emergency call setup request message; and entering an in-progress emergency private call state from the in-progress private call state.

Systems and methods for supporting ad hoc group call for MCX services
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Embodiments herein disclose methods and systems for providing support for ad hoc group calls in mission critical services. The method includes listing, by an MCPTT client, a list of MCPTT participants or a functional alias to initiate an ad hoc group call in a MCX on network. The method further includes initiating, by the MCPTT client, the ad hoc group call with a list of MCPTT participants or the functional alias by sending a group call request to an MCPTT server.
Implementing push-to-talk in a multimedia conferencing system
Systems and methods of providing push-to-talk communication techniques in a multimedia conferencing session are provided. For instance, a push-to-talk mode can be implemented in a conferencing session associated with a conferencing system comprising a plurality of endpoints. At least one of the endpoints can be a full duplex endpoint. A request for transmission capabilities can be received from a first endpoint. Transmission capabilities can be granted to the first endpoint based at least in part on one or more floor control parameters associated with the conferencing session. Subsequent to granting transmission capabilities to the first endpoint, audio data can be provided from the first endpoint to at least one endpoint of the plurality of endpoints in the conferencing session.

Video management defined embedded voice communication groups
Embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product that enable Push to Talk (PTT) communication within a video management software (VMS) system using embedded PTT controls. An embodiment operates by monitoring a plurality of video feeds using a VMS graphics user interface (GUI) where each video feed is a component of an interactive multimedia media object (IMMO) displayed in the VMS GUI. A talk group is logically associated with a video feed from the plurality of video feeds by coupling the talk group to an embedded PTT control component of the IMMO containing the video feed. Upon detecting that the embedded PTT control component corresponding to the video feed is activated, PTT communications is enabled between each member of the talk group regarding content displayed by the video feed.
