Virtual network interface records

A system may include resource instances and a network interface virtualization coordinator. Responsive to a record creation request, the coordinator creates an interface record that may include an IP address, subnet information and security properties. The coordinator may, in response to a request to attach the record to a resource instance, enable traffic directed to the IP address to flow to the resource instance. In response to a subsequent detach request, the traffic to the IP address may be disabled at the resource instance. The same interface record may be attached to another resource instance in response to another attach request, enabling traffic directed to the IP address to flow to the second resource instance.

PASSWORDLESS ELECTRONIC MAIL (E-MAIL) COMMUNICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
20190182248 · 2019-06-13 ·

Disclosed is a passwordless electronic mail (e-mail) communication method and system. The method includes receiving a cell phone number inputted by a user over a user communication device for registering the user with a server hosting a passwordless email service website with a domain name, sending a SMS message including a verification code to the user using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) APIs, authenticating the user communication device using the received verification code, and in response to a successful authentication of the user communication device of the user: converting the received cell phone number into a predefined text email address containing the cell phone number and the domain name, and facilitating the user with transmission and reception of e-mails globally, to and from another user using the converted predefined text email address.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN CARRIERS

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, responsive to determining that a second device is associated with a first carrier network, obtaining a first record associated with a called number of the second device from a first carrier network telephone number mapping equipment server of the first carrier network, and transmitting a first internet protocol address for the second device from the first record to a terminating call session control function server of the first carrier network to initiate the internet protocol call session. Responsive to a second determination that the second device is associated with a second carrier network, obtaining a second record associated with the called number according to a pointer to a second carrier network telephone number mapping equipment server of the second carrier network, and transmitting a second internet protocol address for the second device derived from the second record to a session border controller of the first carrier network to initiate the internet protocol call session. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Domain name system (DNS) and domain name service method based on user information

The present invention relates to a domain name system (DNS) and domain name service method based on user information. The DNS includes a client which outputs a domain name query including user information and service domain name information, a DNS which receives the domain name query from the client, and a database which receives the domain name query from the DNS, extracts the user information included in the domain name query, and differently provides destination path information for each set of user information, wherein the client receives destination path information for each set of user information from the database through the DNS.

Systems and methods for managing a payment terminal via a web browser

The present disclosure relates generally to communication with payment terminals via TCP/IP protocol. Using network technology and novel processes, in particular embodiments, the present systems and methods facilitate local network discovery and communication between a payment terminal and an electronic cash register (ECR) via a browser. For example, in certain embodiments, the present systems and methods leverage TCP/IP network technology to securely facilitate communications between SaaS ECR software running in a browser environment and one or more payment terminals.

A DNS server receives from a receiving email system, a DNS query for an email domain stored at the DNS server, the DNS query including identifying information of a sender of an email. The DNS server extracts the identifying information of the email sender from the DNS query and identifies one of a plurality of delivering organizations from the information. The DNS server determines whether the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain. In response to determining that the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain, the DNS server generates a target validation record based on the identity of the authorized delivering organization and the email domain, the target validation record including one or more rules indicating to the receiving email system whether the delivering organization is an authorized sender of email for the email domain.

DELIVERING CONTENT OVER A NETWORK

A method of delivering content in one or more packets over a network is described. A content request packet comprising a request for content based on a first IPv6 address is received, the first IPv6 address identifying the content. The first IPv6 address is mapped to a second IPv6 address, the second IPv6 address being associated with the content at a physical location. The content requested in the content request packet is then received from the physical location associated with the second IPv6 address for delivery to a user. A further method includes routing a packet for requesting the content from a client to a content server storing an instant of the content, based on an IPv6 address of content being requested by the client. A communication session is then set up between the client and the content server; and the requested content is transmitted from the content server.

CONTENT ROUTING IN AN IP NETWORK

A method of routing a packet in a network is described. The network includes a plurality of nodes implementing Information Centric Networking (ICN) routing or content centric networking and routing. The method includes receiving the packet at a node implementing ICN routing, the packet comprising an Internet Protocol (IP) header and a packet payload, wherein the packet comprises a request packet for requesting content from the network. The method further includes extracting from the packet payload a content identifier for the requested content and forwarding the packet to a next hop node in the network based on the content identifier extracted from the packet payload.

JUST IN TIME TRANSCODING AND PACKAGING IN IPV6 NETWORKS
20190149628 · 2019-05-16 ·

A method and apparatus for delivering requested content over a network is described. The method includes receiving, by a first network node, a request from a second network node for the requested content, the request comprising an IPv6 address associated with the requested content. A longest prefix match is then performed between the IPv6 address associated with the requested content and IPv6 addresses associated with content available at the first network node. In the event that the longest prefix match does not result in an exact match between the IPv6 address associated with the requested content and any of the IPv6 addresses associated with content available at the first network node, the request is routed towards a content variant suitable for transcoding to the requested content, the content variant being stored at the first network node.

Individual XML message processing platform
10277541 · 2019-04-30 · ·

A communications platform (Centerpost) is disclosed containing a message processing platform along with an XML message format (SmartMessage) which provides for the reception, organization, summarization, filing, storage, synthesis, routing, formatting, and intelligent processing of XML-based electronic messages and SMTP electronic mail from corporations and other senders to fully integrate individuals' existing e-mail boxes, cellular telephones, paging equipment, facsimile machines, wireless and wired telephones, and other devices. The Centerpost platform utilizes a nickname-based routing to enable device specific sending without knowledge of the specific device address. The Centerpost platform provides sender-defined information folios, which enable synthesized filing, viewing and storage of all received SmartMessages, and the platform allows semi-private access control for the user, which allows access by others.
