Mapping database system for use with content chunks and methods of routing to content in an IP network

Retrieving content in an Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) network may be provided. A lookup request associated with content may be received from a network node at a server having a mapping database. A response having an ordered list of more than one IPv6 addresses may be generated. The ordered list of the more than on IPv6 addresses may include IPV6 prefixes. Each of the more than one IPv6 addresses may include a first portion having a content identifier and a second portion having an indication of a location of the content. The response may be transmitted to the network node.

NODE CONTROL METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS IN DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM
20210136046 · 2021-05-06 ·

An embodiment of this application discloses a node control method performed by a forwarding platform in a distributed computer system. The method includes: establishing, by a forwarding platform, a secure link with a user terminal through a domain name of the forwarding platform; obtaining, by the forwarding platform through the secure link, a request packet transmitted by a user terminal, and the request packet comprising an address identifier of a target node in the distributed computer system and a request content of the user terminal for the target node; encrypting, by the forwarding platform, the request content to obtain a first encrypted packet; and transmitting, by the forwarding platform, the first encrypted packet to the target node according to the address identifier. Computing device and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium counterparts are also contemplated.

Registration of multi-port device

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for registering a multi-port device. A computing device may receive a registration request from a user device supporting multiple ports. In response, the computing device may send to the user device a message including a plurality of telephone numbers and information of associated ports.

Content delivery from home networks

A method for retrieving content on a network comprising a first device and a second device is described. The method includes receiving in the network a request for content from the first device, the request identifying the content using an IPv6 address for the content, and determining whether the content is stored in a cache of the second device. Upon determining the content is stored in the cache of the second device, a request is sent to the second device for the content using the IPv6 address of the content. The content is forwarded to the first device from the second device, wherein the first and second devices are part of the same layer 2 domain. Methods of injecting content to a home network and packaging content are also described.

Emergency services support for non-cellular wireless access

Apparatus and methods to support emergency services sessions by network elements and by a wireless device are disclosed. The wireless device, when roaming to a visited country/region, queries a network-based server to obtain information for Public Land Mobile Networks (PLMNs) that support emergency services sessions via non-cellular wireless access in the visited country/region. The network-based server responds with a list of PLMNs from which the wireless device selects a PLMN. The wireless device further queries the network-based server to obtain information for evolved Packet Data Gateways (ePDGs) for a selected PLMN and receives from the network-based server a list of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for ePDGs that support emergency services sessions via non-cellular wireless access for the selected PLMN. The wireless device further queries the network-based server for local numbers of the visited country for establishing emergency services sessions and receives a categorized list of local numbers for emergency services.

URLs for acquiring or transmitting data

A method, reception apparatus, and computer-readable medium for communicating with a server to download or upload data. The method includes acquiring a URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) message that includes a DNS (Domain Name System) name registered with the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority). A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is generated based on the registered DNS name in the acquired URI message and a predetermined domain name. The data is downloaded from, or uploaded to, the server using the generated URL.

Proxy auto-configuration for directing client traffic to a cloud proxy

Among other things, this document describes systems, methods and devices for providing a cloud proxy auto-config (PAC) function for clients connected to a private network, such as an enterprise network. The teachings hereof are of particular use with cloud hosted proxy services provided by server deployments outside of the private network (e.g., external to the enterprise or other organizational network). This document also describes systems, methods and devices for providing a proxy auto-config (PAC) function for clients connected to a third party network, such as when the client moves outside of the enterprise network.

A DNS server receives from a receiving email system, a DNS query for an email domain stored at the DNS server, the DNS query including identifying information of a sender of an email. The DNS server extracts the identifying information of the email sender from the DNS query and identifies one of a plurality of delivering organizations from the information. The DNS server determines whether the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain. In response to determining that the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain, the DNS server generates a target validation record based on the identity of the authorized delivering organization and the email domain, the target validation record including one or more rules indicating to the receiving email system whether the delivering organization is an authorized sender of email for the email domain.
