Network address resolution
A content delivery method, and related apparatus, that involves the operations of receiving a request for a content resource including at least one embedded resource with a tag. Upon identification of the tag, using at least one delivery parameter to generate a modified embedded resource. Embedding the modified embedded resource in a content resource, such as an HTML document. Delivering, such as in response to request from a browser, the content resource with the modified embedded resource.
Dynamic binding and load determination in a content delivery network (CDN)
A content provider has a plurality of content provider domain names, and a content delivery network (CDN) allocates a plurality of CDN domain names to the particular content provider. The content provider domain names are mapped to the CDN domain names CDN domain names are bound to corresponding CDN clusters. The binding of the of CDN domain names to corresponding CDN clusters is modified.
Cloud suffix proxy and a method thereof
A method and system for securing a cloud application are provided. The method includes receiving a webpage sent to a client device from at least one cloud application; injecting a piece of code into the webpage, wherein the piece of code maintains an encryption key in a document object model (DOM) of the webpage, wherein the piece of code allows encryption of any text field in the webpage when executed by the client device; intercepting at least one encrypted text field inserted into the DOM; and modifying the DOM by decrypting each of the intercepted at least one encrypted text field and inserting each decrypted text field into the DOM.
Securing communications in a network function virtualization (NFV) core network
A method of electronic communication via a virtual network function (NFV) implementation of a core network. The method comprises receiving a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) content request from a user equipment (UE), wherein the HTTP content request comprises an identification of a content source and determining by an orchestrator service that insufficient NFV processing capacity is available to perform the HTTP content request, where the orchestrator service is an application that executes on a first physical host. The method further comprises dynamically increasing the NFV processing capacity by the orchestrator service, performing the HTTP content request using the increased NFV processing capacity, and returning a HTTP content response to the UE, wherein the HTTP content response does not comprise identification of the content source.
Automation system network
An automation system network can have a host connected to a first device via a network with the first device having a processor that assigns a first address to the first device, imports factory information from a second device connected to the first device via the network, and assigns a second address for the second device. At least one automation activity may be executed with the first device and the first and second addresses are employed to conduct device-to-device communications.
RESTORATION OF A PDN CONNECTION AT PGW FAILURE
A method of operation of a cellular communications system is disclosed. The method comprises: at a MME: receiving an attach request from a UE; sending a location update request to a HSS; receiving a location update acknowledgement; sending, to a DNS, a DNS query request comprising an APN FQDN; receiving a DNS query response comprising information that indicates candidate PGWs that satisfy the DNS query request and at least two PGWs belonging to a same PGW set; selecting the first PGW; sending, to a SGW, a first create session request that comprises information that indicates the first PGW; receiving a first create session response; sending an attach accept to the UE; and at the SGW: receiving the first create session request from the MME; forwarding the first create session request to the first PGW; receiving the first create session response; and forwarding the first create session response to the MME.

Domain name registration reservation through the use of encoding domain names for pools
A technique for facilitating registration of an internet domain name with the domain name system (DNS) is presented. The technique can include receiving a request to register an encoding domain name with the DNS, where the encoding domain name includes an indication of a temporal event and of a pool of domain names. The technique can also include registering the encoding domain name to a registrant, thereby conferring to the registrant a right to register a target domain name of the registrant's selection from the pool of domain names upon specified conditions, where the specified conditions include an occurrence of the temporal event. The technique can also include receiving a request initiated by the registrant to register the target domain name. The technique can also include registering the target domain name to the registrant after satisfaction of the specified conditions.
