Systems and methods for distributing content using a common set of encryption keys
Systems and methods for performing adaptive bitrate streaming using alternative streams of protected content in accordance with embodiments of the invention are described. One embodiment of the invention includes a processor, and memory containing a client application. In addition, the client application configures the processor to: request a top level index file identifying a plurality of alternative streams of protected content, where each of the alternative streams of protected content are encrypted using common cryptographic information; obtain the common cryptographic information; request portions of content from at least the plurality of alternative streams of protected content; access the protected content using the common cryptographic information; and playback the content.
Systems and methods for content security
Systems and methods are for content security may comprise transmitting a request for authorization to access secured content. A content key for the secured content may be received and stored to a restricted region of a memory. A device security module may have access to the restricted region and may decrypt, based on satisfaction of a use condition and using the content key, the secured content. An encryption key associated with a secure media system authorized to access the secured content may be received. The device security module may encrypt, using the encryption key, the secured content and route the secured content to the secure media system.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO ENABLE A MARKET IN USED DIGITAL CONTENT
Methods and apparatus to enable a distinction between “new” and “used” digital content and to enable a market in used digital content files between mobile phone terminals and an electronic store, securely, by means of a wireless telephony network and a server complex to handle contents right management, transaction reporting, inventory, content delivery, payment, and billing. A server receives a signal generated by a wireless user device that was sent over a wireless telephony network. The signal indicates an election for returning at least one previously purchased digital content item. The server deletes user rights for the at least one digital content item identified by the received signal and sends information to the user device that generated the signal. Access to the associated digital content item at the user device is removed according to the sent information.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BLOCKING SCREENSHOTS AND SCREEN RECORDINGS OF PREMIUM USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Methods, systems, and apparatus for blocking screenshots and screen recordings of content are disclosed. A first media content frame is received from a first computer device. It is determined that one or more user interface elements are present in the first media content frame. The user interface elements are extracted from the first media content frame. The user interface elements are converted to video. The video is encrypted to prevent screenshot capture of the one or more user interface elements present in the first media content frame by a second computer device lacking a decryption key when the video is played on a digital screen of the second computer device. A second media content frame is generated including the first media content frame overlaid by the video. The second media content frame is transmitted to the second computer device for the second media content frame to be played.
Distributed storage systems and methods
The inventive subject matter provides apparatus, systems, and methods of pre-loading (or caching) activatable content to several mobile devices for future use by at least one of the mobile devices. The mobile devices are communicatively coupled with each other to form a distribute storage network. The pre-loaded content can be used by applications executed in any one of the mobile devices within the network. A content server is configured to transmit portions of the content to the mobile devices upon detection that a subset of conditions within the multi-conditional content activation criteria has been satisfied. The content server is configured to transmit the entire content when all conditions within the multi-conditional content activation criteria has been satisfied. The content server then activates the content when a content activation event is detected.
Tokenized media content management
A system and method for media content management include creating, via a digital vault, a container file comprising media content submitted by a user and content metadata; verifying, via the digital vault, a completeness of the content metadata associated with the media content in the container file; classifying, via the digital vault, the container file based on the completeness of the media content; and capturing, via the digital vault, event metadata when a second user gains access to the container file, the event metadata comprising identification of the second user, an activation timestamp, a duration of access, portions of the container file accessed, and changes to the container file.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EMBEDDING AND EXTRACTING TEXT WATERMARK
One aspect of the present invention discloses a watermark insertion method. The method includes: segmenting target text into pieces of page content; obtaining a watermark variable comprising a line alternation value indicative of a watermark mode changed for each line of the segmented page content and a watermark mode setting value; and applying a flip-flop component insertion algorithm for inserting a watermark into each of the pieces of segmented page content based on the obtained watermark variable.
SYSTEM FOR LEDGER AND PARAMETRIC MARKETPLACE FOR ALGORITHMIC CONTENT CREATIONS
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that has a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations including: receiving media content from user equipment, wherein the media content comprises a sample of an existing work used to modify an original work; analyzing the media content using machine learning to determine a plurality of composition parameters that characterize aspects of the media content; recording the plurality of composition parameters determined, including an identification of composition parameters in the plurality of composition parameters attributable to the existing work, and an identification of composition parameters attributable to the original work, in a blockchain ledger; searching for the composition parameters in the blockchain ledger for one or more works having similar composition parameters; and reporting any works found during the searching to the user equipment.
Infusing custom qualities into an artificially intelligent entity
Some examples of the present disclosure relate to infusing custom qualities into an artificially intelligent entity. In one example, a system can initiate execution of a smart contract that is configured to generate a correlation between a second non-fungible token (NFT) and a first NFT. The first NFT can include personality fields with default values defining default personality characteristics for an artificially intelligent entity. The second NFT can include a personality field with a customized value defining a customized personality characteristic assignable to the artificially intelligent entity. The correlation can be configured to impart the customized personality characteristic to the artificially intelligent entity.
PRE-AUTHORIZATION OF PUBLIC KEY INFRASTRUCTURE
One embodiment provides a method for pre-authorizing public key infrastructure communication between entities, the method comprising: utilizing at least one processor to execute computer code that performs the steps of: determining if pre-authorization is required from a remote device to establish a communication channel between a first entity and a second entity; establishing a shared secret value between the first entity and the remote device; receiving, at the second entity, from the remote device, proof of pre-authorization, thereby pre-authorizing communication between the first and second entity, wherein the pre-authorization is based on the shared secret value; and storing the proof of pre-authorization for any subsequent communication with the first entity. Other aspects are described and claimed.
