MOBILE SIGNATURE EMBEDDED IN DESKTOP WORKFLOW
20170272249 · 2017-09-21 ·

Systems and methods provide for efficiently obtaining biometric signatures for electronically signing digital documents. A digital document having a signature field is provided for display on a general computing device. An instruction to obtain a biometric signature from a mobile computing device is received on the general computing device. A remote signing request is sent to a remote server device. The request can include, among other things, an electronic contact address associated with the mobile computing device. Responsive to receiving the request, a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) is generated, referencing a dynamic application for obtaining the biometric signature on the mobile computing device. The remote server device obtains the biometric signature via the dynamic application or an incoming electronic message from the mobile computing device via the electronic contact address. The biometric signature is communicated to the client device for association with the signature field of the digital document.

A method for execution by a dispersed storage and task (DST) client module includes issuing a read threshold number of read slice requests are issued to storage units of the set of storage units. One or more encoded slices of a selected read threshold number of encoded slices are received. When a next encoded data slice of a decode threshold number of encoded data slices is received within a response timeframe, outputting of the next encoded data slice is initiated. When the next encoded data slice is not received within the response timeframe, receiving of another decode threshold number of encoded slices of the set of encoded slices is facilitated. The other decode threshold number of encoded slices are decoded to produce recovered encoded data slices, where the recovered encoded data slices includes at least a recovered next encoded data.

Outputting of the recovered next encoded data slice is initiated.

Dynamic watermarking of vehicle camera images

A vehicle computer includes a watermark memory and a watermark processor programmed to execute instructions stored in the watermark memory. The instructions executed by the watermark processor include receiving an image captured by a camera, selecting a set of random pixel locations, generating a random watermark, and embedding the random watermark into the image at the set of random pixel locations. Another vehicle computer includes a validation memory and a validation processor programmed to execute instructions stored in the validation memory. The instructions executed by the validation processor include receiving a watermarked image, determining a random watermark, detecting an embedded watermark in the received watermarked image by selecting a set of random pixels and analyzing the selected set of random pixels for the random watermark, and authenticating the watermarked image as a result of determining that the watermarked image includes the random watermark at the set of random pixel locations.

Methods, systems, and storage media for issuing and verifying a secondary cryptographic photo ID are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: capture, using a scanning component of a printing device, a primary digital image of a primary photo ID; recognize, using a processing component of the printing device, alphanumeric information in the captured primary digital image; encrypt, using the processing component of the printing device, the recognized alphanumeric information; generate, using the processing component of the printing device, a digital watermark comprising the encrypted recognized alphanumeric information; recognize, using the processing component of the printing device, a photograph in the primary digital image; generate, using the processing component of the printing device, a secondary digital image comprising the recognized photograph and the generated digital watermark; and print, using a printing component of the printing device, a secondary photo ID comprising the secondary digital image.

Data Watermarking and Fingerprinting System and Method

A system for applying fingerprinting/watermarking of consumer data, and analyzing “wild files” of consumer data to assign a guilt score for a particular party who may have leaked the data, allows the owner of data sources (“Data Owners”) to identify and assert ownership of textual data that has been distributed outside of their firewall in the clear (i.e., without encryption), either intentionally or unintentionally, and assign guilt to parties misusing the data. The system can be used by Data Owners who transmit, lease, or sell data to individuals or organizations (“Trusted Third Parties” or “TTPs”) to recognize and assert ownership of their data in the case where one or more TTPs leaks the data (the leaked file is defined as a “Leaked Subset”) into the hands of others (“Bad Actors”) who either knowingly or unknowingly use the data illegally.

NFT INVENTORY PRODUCTION

Methods and processes for manufacture of an image product from a digital image. An object in the digital image is detected and recognized. Object metadata is assigned to the object, the object metadata linking sound to the object in the digital image which produced the sound. At least one cryptographic hash of the object metadata is generated, and the hash is written to a node of a transaction processing network.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING AUTHENTICITY DETAIL OF CAPTURED VIDEO
20230274546 · 2023-08-31 ·

A method and system for enhancing authenticity detail of captured video is disclosed. Objects within a physical environment (and visible within a camera field of view) are captured in video, and by way of video analytics these objects and their respective metadata are employed as part of the method and system for enhancing the authenticity detail of the captured video. Also, rather than the audio/video stream(s) being modified, the actual video scene itself may be modified.

SECURING ON-CHIP COMMUNICATION USING DIGITAL WATERMARKING

The present disclosure describes digital watermark detection systems and methods. In one such system, a plurality of intellectual property cores are integrated on a system-on-chip, such that the intellectual property cores comprise a first intellectual property core and a second intellectual property core. The system further includes a first network interface connected to the first intellectual property core that can encode a first digital watermark into a packet stream designated for the second intellectual property core. The system further includes a second network interface connected to the second intellectual property core that can receive the packet stream and decode the packet stream to generate a second digital watermark. The second network interface is further configured to perform a validation test on the packet stream and deliver the packet stream to the second intellectual property core when the first digital watermark is determined to match the second digital watermark.
