The mobile device is a mobile device which is held by a mobile device cradle and controls the mobile device cradle to be driven, and may include at least one camera which captures a forward image, a display, and at least one processor which executes an application which detects a subject from the forward image and controls the mobile device cradle to be driven so that a forward direction of the mobile device follows the subject according to movement of the subject.

A mount for a portable electronic device includes a mount base to attach the mount to a surface, and a mount head attached to the mount base. An apparatus for mounting an object having one or more electrical contacts within a vehicle, the object. The apparatus comprises a base configured to receive the object, the base comprising a mounting surface and a docking surface. A docking connector is coupled to the docking surface and is configured to electrically connect with the one or more electrical contacts of the object. The docking connector is movable relative to the docking surface between a first position and a second position. When the docking connector is electrically connected with the one or more electrical contacts of the object, a second main surface of the object is positioned obliquely relative to the mounting surface in the first position of the docking connector and the second main surface of the object is aligned in contact with the mounting surface in the second position of the docking connector.

A system for mounting an electronic device includes a socket and a stand, the stand having a ball portion. The socket and the ball portion include first magnetic material to hold the socket and the ball portion together in a position selected by a user, the socket further including a magnetic array, the magnetic array having magnetism to hold an electronic device to the socket. In one alternative, the first magnetic material is separate from the magnetic array.

A user device cradle can include a receiver configured to removably retain a wireless user device. One or more Radio Frequency (RF) signal couplers and one or more power couplers can be disposed in the receiver of the cradle. The one or more RF signal couplers can be configured to couple one or more RF communication signals to the wireless user device, while the one or more power couplers can be configured to couple power to the wireless user device. The coupling of power to the user device can be reduced or minimized when a downlink signal is received by a user device in the user device cradle, or when the user device cradle is in a weak signal area.
