TELECOMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MEDIA STREAMS
A terminal can have at least one audio interface for at least one microphone, at least one audio interface for at least one speaker, an operator control module and at least one interface for connecting to at least one telephony- and/or IP-telephony-compatible terminal. The terminal can be configured as a media hub for the at least one telephony- or IP-telephony-compatible terminal. The terminal can have a media processing unit for mixing and a media hub controller or controlling media streams received by the at least one telephony- or IP-telephony-compatible terminal and the at least one telephony- or IP-telephony-compatible terminal can be operated through the operator control module of the telecommunication terminal. A method for controlling media streams through a media hub controlled integrated into a telecommunication terminal is also disclosed.
MOBILE RADIO DEVICE WITH OPERATIONAL LIGHTS FOR COUPLING TO A MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION DEVICE
In a first aspect, the invention is an apparatus for a mobile communication network, which includes a mobile telecommunications device, with a graphical user interface and a memory. The apparatus also includes a mobile radio device, communicatively coupled to the mobile telecommunications device, thereby creating a pair of communicatively coupled mobile devices. The mobile radio device includes a plurality of lights functioning as a secondary user interface and, in conjunction with the graphical user interface provides a unified user interface. The mobile radio device also includes a memory, a GPS chip and an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a gyroscope. The plurality of lights communicate an operational mode and status to a user. The operational mode is at least one of: a battery level indicator mode, a signal strength indicator mode, a compass indicator mode, a tracking mode, a path saving mode, a waypoint mode, and a disaster mode.
Personal audio assistant device and method
A system includes a first microphone that captures audio, a communication module communicatively coupled to the first microphone, a logic circuit communicatively coupled to the first microphone and communication module, a speaker operatively coupled to the logic circuit, and an interaction element. The interaction element and logic circuit are configured to initiate control of audio content for output from the speaker in response to at least one voice command detected in captured audio. Personal audio assistant device and method
A system for delivery of personalized audio services including a first microphone for capturing audio, a voice controlled interface coupled to the first microphone for detecting a voice command, a communication module for accessing information from a network in response to the detected voice command to provide results from accessing the network, a memory for storing a user profile and a user listening history, and a processor for modifying the results based on the detected voice command, the user profile and the user listening history. PHONE APPLIANCE WITH DISPLAY SCREEN AND METHODS FOR USING THE SAME
A phone appliance and method of use are provided where the phone appliance can be used to make VoIP communications calls. In a preferred embodiment, the phone appliance includes an RF connection for connecting to a computer or other computing device for facilitating the placement of the VoIP communications calls. The phone appliance further includes a display or portal for depicting advertisements provided by various advertisers. The advertisements provided can be used to defray all or part of the cost associated with making VoIP communications calls. The portal can also be used to communicate with businesses for ordering products. such as ordering a pizza, and to perform various services, such as purchasing stocks. In an exemplary system, the phone appliance is used to transmit to a control center information related to the user of the phone appliance, such as interests and buying habits, and queries for receiving additional information for various advertised products and services. The control center transmits the queries to the appropriate vendors for providing the user with additional information. Other functions and features are provided to the phone appliance, such as being able to download e-mail messages stored within or received by the computer.
Mobile terminal and operating method thereof

The method may include receiving a second user identification and second specified time period for enabling voice communications on the first computing device for the second user identification. A method of managing a custom configuration manifest, comprising: collecting by an application configuration selections about a user equipment (UE) that are dynamically configured to create the custom configuration manifest; processing by a server the configuration selections and dynamically configuring the configuration selections to create the manifest; transmitting by the server the manifest to both the UE and a database with a plurality of custom configuration manifests; receiving by a custom configuration manifest handling application authorization through one or more authorization options, but not authentication credentials, to allow the manifest handling application to install preferred applications on the UE; installing by the manifest handling application the preferred applications on the UE without providing the authentication credentials; and customizing by the manifest handling application the UE based on the manifest.
Personal audio assistant device and method
A server includes one or more processors, and a computer readable memory coupled to the one or more processors. The computer readable memory contains instructions which when executed by the one or more processors causes the one or more processors to perform the operations of receiving captured audio via an microphone of a mobile or wearable device at a location remote from the server via a communications module operatively coupled to the mobile or wearable device, analyzing the captured audio to provide analyzed captured audio, and sending information to the communications module in response to the analyzed captured audio, the information including instructions to initiate control of media content or initiate operations of the mobile or wearable device. A method operating at the server and other embodiments are disclosed.
Personal audio assistant device and method
A personal audio assistant includes a first microphone for capturing audio, a communication module communicatively coupled to the first microphone and for accessing information from a network, a memory storage unit communicatively coupled to the first microphone, and a voice controlled interface coupled to the microphone. The voice controlled interface is configured to access the network in response to detection of at least one or more voice commands from the captured audio and present results in response to accessing the network to a speaker via a text-to-speech synthesizer.
