Conference system with a microphone array system and a method of speech acquisition in a conference system
A conference system with transmitting and receiving sides. The transmitting side has a microphone array unit with microphone capsules, and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to receive output signals of the microphone capsules and to execute audio beamforming based on the received output signals for acquiring sound coming from an audio source in a first direction. The processing unit has a direction-recognition unit that computes from the output signals of said microphone capsules a score for each of multiple search grid spatial positions and uses a search grid spatial position having a higher score to identify said first direction. The receiving side has an audio reproduction system that reproduces an audio signal detected by the microphone array with directional information of the first direction. The detected audio signal and the directional information regarding the first direction are transmitted from the transmitting side to the receiving side.
Microphone Hole Blockage Detection Method, Microphone Hole Blockage Detection Device, and First Wireless Earphone
Disclosed are a microphone hole blockage detection method. The method includes: acquiring a sound wave in a preset frequency band of a microphone of a first wireless earphone, wherein the preset frequency band includes frequency bands where any one type of the following sound waves is located: an ultrasonic wave, an audible sound wave, and an infrasonic wave; determining a first energy parameter, acquired by the first wireless earphone, of the sound wave; and determining, according to the first energy parameter, that the microphone of the first wireless earphone is in a blocked hole state.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, SPEECH INPUT DEVICE, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND PROGRAM
Provided is a communication system that enables smooth wireless communication. A communication system (1) includes a communication terminal (20) and a microphone (10) connected to each other. The microphone includes a microphone element (11) which converts a voice to an electric signal and a PTT switch (12) which switches between transmitting or not transmitting the electric signal to the communication terminal. The communication terminal includes a VOX determination section (232) and an operation sound determination section (233), each of which determines a level of the electric signal, and a transmission control section (234) which controls transmission of the electric signal in accordance with the level.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR NOISE CANCELATION IN A LISTENING AREA
Systems and methods for noise cancelation in a listening area include functionality that activates a microphone of the remote control device of a home entertainment system or a microphone of another mobile device to collect a baseline white noise profile of a user's media content listening area, such as the user's family room, living room or other TV viewing space. This baseline white noise profile may be used by the user's set-top box (STB) or other receiving device to generate the corresponding noise canceling audio signal to create a noise-canceling effect and a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience for the user. A plurality of audio data samples from which to select, each representing a different baseline profile of ambient white noise associated with the media content listening area, may be generated and used for different devices that generate white noise.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH ACCESSORY DEVICE PAIR AND RELATED DEVICES AND METHODS
A wireless communication system may include a mobile wireless communications device and a wireless accessory device to be paired with it. The wireless accessory device may have a wireless transceiver and an antenna coupled to the wireless transceiver. The wireless transceiver and the antenna may be operable in an initial mode and an operational mode after successful pairing. The initial mode may have a shorter range than the operational mode. The mobile wireless communications device may exchange pairing tokens with the wireless accessory device using the initial mode, and communicate with the wireless accessory device using the operational mode after successful pairing.
INTERACTIVE DISPLAY SYSTEM WITH MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRIVACY SWITCH
An interactive display system may include (i) a housing surrounding at least a portion of a display region, (ii) a camera for capturing images via a camera opening defined in the housing, (iii) a microphone for capturing audio content, and (iv) a privacy switch assembly including a sliding member that is movable between a plurality of set positions. The plurality of set positions may include (i) a first position at which a field of view of the camera is unobstructed and the microphone is active, (ii) a second position at which a shutter of the privacy switch assembly blocks the field of view of the camera or the microphone is disabled, and (iii) a third position at which the shutter blocks the field of view of the camera and the microphone is disabled. Various other systems, devices, assemblies, and methods are also disclosed.
PORTABLE MULTIFUNCTION DEVICE, METHOD, AND GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR CONFERENCE CALLING
The present disclosure generally relates to managing phone calls. In some embodiments, an electronic device with a touch screen displays a phone call user interface which includes informational items associated with phone calls. In some embodiments, when the electronic device receives a request to initiate another phone call, the electronic device displays a contacts user interface including a plurality of contact user interface objects associated with respective contacts.
In some embodiments, when the electronic device is executing multiple phone calls and receives user input corresponding to an informational item, the electronic device suspends a first phone call and activates a second phone call.
MICROPHONE CONTROL
The present subject matter relates to techniques of controlling a position of a microphone coupled to a headset. In an example implementation of present subject matter, the position of the microphone coupled to the headset is changed between a first position and a second position, depending upon a signal received by the headset.
