A system and methods for adaptive bi-direction audio wiring, in which a circuit may be attached via a headset port using RJ9 pin configurations in a phone handset, and dynamically test many different phone handset configurations for optimal audio pathing and processing for speaker and microphone audio generation with minimal noise, static, or power fluctuation.

An integrated power supply system with audio and electronic communication and connection capabilities for being retained relative to a work surface. The system has a system base, power outlets, electronic data connectivity ports, and speakers. The connectivity ports can comprise USB, USB-C, LAN, HDMI, telephonic, or other ports. A telephone connectivity subsystem enables telephone communication, and a wireless connectivity subsystem enables wireless operation. A central engaging portion of the system base is received into positive engagement in a selective position along a mounting collar and within an aperture in the work surface, and a mounting bracket clamps the work surface between the system base and the mounting bracket. A detachable electronic command console is operative to control electronic operation of the system base and electronics coupled to the system base. The command console is further operative to permit control and operation of the telephone connectivity subsystem.

The electronic device convolves sound so the sound externally localizes as binaural sound to the physical object. The sound plays to the listener through earphones so the listener hears the sound as emanating from the physical object.

Systems and methods for voice-enabled configurations for audio-output devices are disclosed. User accounts may be associated with one or more voice-enabled devices. Those voice-enabled devices may include audio-output functionality, while other voice-enabled devices do not include audio-output functionality. For devices without audio-output functionality, sending and/or receiving calls and/or messages may depend on whether the device is connected to an auxiliary device with audio-output functionality, via wired and/or wireless connection. Notifications of whether calling and/or messaging is enabled may be sent to the sending and/or receiving devices.

A system is provided for automated configuration of a connection interface between a headset device (e.g., a headset base) and a telephone (e.g., desktop phone). The system includes configuration circuitry designed to automatically perform a sequential analysis of multiple interface configuration options for the connection interface between the headset device and telephone. The analysis of each respective interface configuration option includes (a) accessing stored configuration information defining predefined switch positions for an array of controllable switches (e.g., optical switches) corresponding with the respective interface configuration option, (b) set the array of switches to the predefined switch positions specified by the accessed configuration information, and (c) performing a signal analysis to analyze electrical signals on the connection interface. The configuration circuitry may then select a best interface configuration option based on the signal analyses, and set the switches to the predefined switch positions corresponding with the selected best interface configuration option.

Devices, systems and methods are provided to support a party call with auto-joining function in a communication system for a distributed transport system that employs VoIP technology. A VoIP unit or end point acts as a conference bridge between an operator extension and other end points. A first end point makes a SIP call to the operator and multicasts a mix of its send audio and the received operator audio. Other end points first check for multicast traffic being received before making a SIP call to the operator and, if so, play out the received audio over its speaker and multicast its send audio. The end point initiating the call mixes this subsequent stream into a stream to the operator, effectively acting as the conference bridge to the operator. The other end points are responsible for mixing received multicast streams for their local speaker.

A method and system for entertainment comprising sound-producing signals communication to plurality of bobble head/vibrational devices (BH/VDs). Typically, at least some of said produced sounds resemble a first voice at least resembling a first celebrity's voice and at least some of said produced sounds resemble a second voice at least resembling a second celebrity's voice. The origin of said sounds can be an actual human celebrity speaking, a celebrity voice impersonator speaking, or an electronic simulation of celebrity voice. The system can be used in the home of subscribers, such as with a private event for delivering entertainment, wagering advice; or for public events, such as exercise classes, game shows, live events, recommunication events, and sporting events.

In one embodiment, a method can include obtaining, by one or more processors associated with a computing device, an audio notification that comprises a message and a preferred priority associated with the message. The method can include determining, by the one or more processors, an assigned priority associated with the message based at least in part on a content of the message and the preferred priority associated with the message. The method can include generating, by the one or more processors, an output indicative of the message and the assigned priority associated with the message. The method can include providing, by the one or more processors, the output to an audio device to audibly produce the output based at least in part on the priority associated with the message.
