Electronic device used for video conference
An electronic device including a main body, a driver module, and a plurality of expanded members is provided. The main body includes at least one image module. The driver module is movably disposed in the main body. The expanded members are disposed beside the main body and connected to the driver module, and each of the expanded members includes at least one of a radio module and a speaker module. The driver module is adapted to drive the expanded members to expand from a collapsed position to a use position, when the expanded members are located at the collapsed position, the expanded members are collapsed to the main body, and the expanded members are driven by the driver module to be expanded with respect to the main body and are moved to the use position.

Suspended speaker housing in a teleconference system
Aspects of the invention can include a teleconferencing system having a system housing, a speaker enclosure configured within the system housing, a speaker mounted to the speaker enclosure, and one or more damping cushions coupling the speaker enclosure to the system housing. The one or more damping cushions can suspend the speaker enclosure within the system housing such that the speaker enclosure is separated and mechanically isolated from the system housing by at least a minimum distance (e.g., 2 mm). In some cases, the one or more damping cushions provide the only structural coupling between the speaker enclosure and the system housing. The one or more damping cushions can be configured to dampen mechanical energy generated by the speaker thereby preventing at least a portion of the mechanical energy form coupling to the system housing via the one or more damping cushions.

Method and system of varying mechanical vibrations at a microphone
An improved method and system for varying an amount of mechanical coupling in a speakerphone is disclosed. Solutions and implementations provided vary the amount of mechanical coupling between one or more speakers and one or more microphones of the speakerphone to generate high-quality sounds. Implementations include receiving a signal for a first speaker, transforming the signal to send to a second speaker or actuator to generate either complementary or opposing vibration forces to those generated by the first speaker, and an accelerometer to measure the amount of vibration caused by the speaker and adjust the transformation applied to the signal to increase or decrease the amount of mechanical coupling, as needed.
ESTIMATION OF BACKGROUND NOISE IN AUDIO SIGNALS
The disclosure relates to a background noise estimator and a method therein, for supporting sound activity detection in an audio signal segment. The method comprises reducing a current background noise estimate when the audio signal segment is determined to comprise music and the current background noise estimate exceeds a minimum value. This is to be performed when an energy level of an audio signal segment is more than a threshold higher than a long term minimum energy level, It_min, which is determined over a plurality of preceding audio signal segments, or, when the energy level of the audio signal segment is less than a threshold higher than It_min, but no pause is detected in the audio signal segment.

Display apparatus
An apparatus comprising: a first part configured to form at least part of the case of the apparatus; a second part configured to form at least part of the display for the apparatus; a coupling configured to couple the first part to the second part; and at least one actuator coupled to the second part and configured to apply a force to the second part to generate a displacement of the second part relative to the first part suitable for generating an audio signal.

Electronic device including a directional microphone
An electronic device may include a housing and a directional microphone. The housing may include a front surface, a rear surface positioned opposite the front surface, and a hollow cavity positioned between the front surface and the rear surface. The hollow cavity may include a front opening defined in the front surface and a rear opening defined in the rear surface. The directional microphone may include a front port and a rear port. The directional microphone may be mounted in the hollow cavity of the housing with the front port oriented toward the front opening and with the rear port oriented toward the rear opening.
