Adaptive communication mode for recording a media message
A computer implemented method and system for determining a communication mode for recording a media message on a communication device is provided. An adaptive recording application detects activation of an interface element, for example, a push or a touch of a button on the communication device and determines duration of the activation of the interface element. The adaptive recording application, in response to the detection of the activation of the interface element, selects a communication mode, for example, a push to talk communication mode, a tap to start communication mode, etc., based on a comparison of the duration of the activation of the interface element with one or more configurable timing parameters and/or a determination of a presence or an absence of a media signal during and/or after the activation of the interface element. The adaptive recording application initiates recording of the media message in the selected communication mode.

Method and device for audio recording
An acquisition system includes a processor, one or more sensors operatively coupled to the processor where the one or more sensors acquire at the ear, on the ear or within an ear canal, one or more of acceleration, blood oxygen saturation, blood pressure or heart-rate, and the one or more sensors configured to monitor a biological state or a physical motion or both for an event. The event can be a detection of a discrepancy when compared with a set of reference data by the one or more sensors or the biological state or the event can be one of a detection of an abrupt movement of a headset operatively coupled to the processor, a change in location of an earpiece operatively coupled the processor, a touching of the headset, a recognizing of a voice command, a starting or ending of a phone call, or a scheduled time.

Information processing system and image forming apparatus that record communication sound data
An information processing system transmits and receives sound data through a switching equipment. The information processing system includes: a transmitting end image forming apparatus that has a facsimile function to transmit communication sounds through the switching equipment; a receiving end image forming apparatus that has a facsimile function to receive the communication sounds through the switching equipment; a controller that generates a sound recording start command to start a recording of the communication sounds, and transmits the sound recording start command to the receiving end image forming apparatus; and a sound recorder that starts the recording of the communication sounds in the receiving end image forming apparatus when the receiving end image forming apparatus receives the sound recording start command.

Wireless communication system for enabling playback of transmitted voice and controlled interruption thereof
A radio device comprising: a transmitter that transmits a transmission voice; a receiver that receives a reception voice; a recorder that records the reception voice; a playback controller that performs rewind playback of a reception voice recorded in the recorder during the reception voice being received; and a transmit-receive controller that causes the transmitter to transmit the under playback signal to notify that it is during the rewind playback when it is detected that reception of the reception voice is completed during the rewind playback, and that causes the transmitter to transmit a playback end signal indicating that the rewind playback is finished when the rewind playback is finished.
Method and apparatus pertaining to the dynamic handling of incoming calls
A control circuit determines when a user of a corresponding portable communication device is presently driving a vehicle and then, in response to detecting this use state, automatically answer incoming communications and provide at least two contact options to the sender. One of these contact options can comprise the option to speak with the user during the incoming communication. Another of these contact options can comprise recording a voice message for the user and discontinuing the incoming communication without the sender communicating with the user. The control circuit can determine whether the user is presently driving a vehicle by relying upon a direct acknowledgement of the user and/or by indirect means.

MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A mobile terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display unit for displaying a screen of a recording application; a voice signal input unit for receiving a voice signal according to a recording command; and a control unit, wherein the control unit displays an image corresponding to each of a plurality of sound sources on the screen when the voice signal includes the voice signal of the plurality of sound sources, controls the display unit to display a specific indicator associated with a change in a set value of the recording application on the screen, senses a touch input for moving the specific indicator, changes the set value so that the magnitude of the voice signal of a sound source corresponding to an image that is getting farther from the specific indicator among the images corresponding to each of the plurality of sound sources becomes smaller after the specific indicator moves, and changes the set value so that the magnitude of the voice signal of a sound source corresponding to an image that is getting closer to the specific indicator among the images corresponding to each of the plurality of sound sources becomes larger after the specific indicator moves.
