Mobile answering device
The Mobile Answering Device (MAD), is a mobile communication system comprising of an electronic device or circuit, software, App, platform, network, computer, or server that attaches to or is installed within, or links to a smart phone, tablet, or laptop. The MAD enables a mobile communication device such as, a smart phone, cell phone, tablet, or laptop to answer an incoming mobile phone call by way of a pre-recorded message. After the message has played, the caller can leave a brief or detailed voice message. During the time that the caller is leaving his or her messages, the user of the mobile communication device can hear the caller's message without the caller's knowledge; thus, enabling the user to pre-screen or monitor his or her mobile phone calls before answering the mobile phone call. Further, the MAD enables a user to send and receive Audio-Video electronic mail (AVEmail).
Voice call translation capability negotiation method and electronic device
A voice call translation capability negotiation method and an electronic device are provided, and relate to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: After a first electronic device establishes a communication link with a second electronic device, if a voice call translation function is enabled, the first electronic device receives first indication information sent by the second electronic device. The first indication information is used to indicate that a voice call translation function of the second electronic device is enabled. The first electronic device automatically disables the voice call translation function.
Adaptive Communication Mode For Recording A Media Message
A computer implemented method and system for determining a communication mode for recording a media message on a communication device is provided. An adaptive recording application detects activation of an interface element, for example, a push or a touch of a button on the communication device and determines duration of the activation of the interface element. The adaptive recording application, in response to the detection of the activation of the interface element, selects a communication mode, for example, a push to talk communication mode, a tap to start communication mode, etc., based on a comparison of the duration of the activation of the interface element with one or more configurable timing parameters and/or a determination of a presence or an absence of a media signal during and/or after the activation of the interface element. The adaptive recording application initiates recording of the media message in the selected communication mode.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD
A device state detector of a given device detects a device state and outputs it as device state information in association with whether it is a transmission standby state. A transmitter transmits a radio wave for a transmission voice signal and the device state information. A receiver outputs a received signal to a signal processor that decodes it into a reception voice signal and device state information of a counterpart device. A recorder records the transmission and reception voice signals. A memory unit stores the pieces of device state information of the device and the counterpart device. A recording determination unit determines whether to continue or stop recording by the recorder. The recording determination unit determines to stop recording if both of the devices are not in a transmission standby state at the time of termination of transmission or reception of a radio wave for the voice signal.

Low-power convenient system for capturing a sound
Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for capturing audio that is memorable. Buffered audio is stored in a first device over a recent interval such as 5 minutes. In the absence of an indication a circular buffer is used that continually replaces old audio. When a user hears something that he wants to capture, he manipulates a control on the first device that results in buffered audio being transferred to another storage area. An audio file is automatically created. A second device can receive the created audio file, and it is capable of annotating the audio with a more descriptive title, an appropriate photo, etc. The second device is also able to provide a control interface for the capture application in the first device.

RADIO DEVICE
A radio device comprising: a transmitter that transmits a transmission voice; a receiver that receives a reception voice; a recorder that records the reception voice; a playback controller that performs rewind playback of a reception voice recorded in the recorder during the reception voice being received; and a transmit-receive controller that causes the transmitter to transmit the under playback signal to notify that it is during the rewind playback when it is detected that reception of the reception voice is completed during the rewind playback, and that causes the transmitter to transmit a playback end signal indicating that the rewind playback is finished when the rewind playback is finished.
