Methods and systems for selecting SIM card

The present invention discloses methods and systems for selecting at least one SIM card for data communication at a wireless communication device which is capable of housing a plurality of SIM cards. When a switching condition is satisfied, the wireless communication device selects a second SIM card group, and disconnects one or more connections established using any non-second group SIM card. Non-second group SIM cards are SIM cards that are not in the second SIM card group. A selected SIM card from the second SIM card group is then used for data communications. The steps are repeated until (i) the switching condition is no longer satisfied, (ii) no more SIM cards selected from the second SIM card group can be used for data communications or (iii) no more connection is made using non-second group SIM cards.

An infusion pump is configured to reject an input as a false touch. The infusion pump includes a touchscreen display configured to display infusion pump information and to receive a touchscreen input, a processor in communication with the touchscreen display, and a memory. The memory stores instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to execute a false touch rejection process. The false touch rejection process includes receiving the touchscreen input corresponding to a contact with the touchscreen display, determining a contact parameter from the touchscreen input, determining from the contact parameter, that the touchscreen input corresponds to a false touch, and rejecting the touchscreen input.

Method and device for selecting public land mobile network (PLMN) in wireless communication system

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for selecting a public land mobile network (PLMN) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system comprises: in a manual network selection mode, displaying one or more first PLMN items corresponding to one or more first PLMNs on a display of the UE; when an input for a second PLMN item among the one or more PLMN items is received, controlling a communication module of the UE to attempt to register the UE on a second PLMN corresponding to the second PLMN item; when the registration on the second PLMN fails, providing access to restricted local operator service (RLOS), and displaying, on the display, one or more third PLMN items corresponding to one or more third PLMNs included in an RLOS PLMN list configured in a universal subscriber identity module (USIM) of the UE; and when an input for a fourth PLMN item among the one or more third PLMN items is received, controlling the communication module to initiate registration for access to the RLOS of a fourth PLMN corresponding to the fourth PLMN item, whereby it is possible to use not only excellent but also highly secure RLOS.

User interface for limiting notifications and alerts

The present disclosure relates to systems and processes for limiting notifications on an electronic device. In one example process, data representing a user input can be received by an electronic device. The data representing the user input can include touch data from the touch-sensitive device, ambient light data from an ambient light sensor, intensity data from a contact intensity sensor, and/or motion data from one or more motion sensors. Based on the data, it can be determined whether the user input is a cover gesture over a touch-sensitive display of the electronic device. In response to determining that the user input is a cover gesture over the touch-sensitive display, the electronic device can be put into a DND mode for a predetermined amount of time. While in the DND mode, the electronic device can cease to output some or all notifications.
