The apparatus for executing an application for a mobile device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a text input unit; an application recognition unit for recognizing an application to be executed; a message recognition unit for recognizing an operation message to be performed in the application to be executed on the basis of the text which is inputted through the text input unit; a transmission instruction sensing unit for sensing an operation message transmission instruction of a user; a message transfer unit for transferring the operation message to the application when the transmission instruction sensing unit senses the operation message transmission instruction; and an application execution unit for executing the operation message transferred by the message transfer unit.
MEDIA CLIP CREATION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS
Various embodiments for creating media clips are disclosed. In one example, a method is performed by a server for managing the creation and distribution of media clips, where the server associates a content capture device with an event, the content capture device for recording at least a portion of the event, receives a tag notification from a content tagging device via a network interface, generates a media clip creation command to the content capture device via the network interface, sends the media clip creation command to the content capture device, and receives a media clip created by the content capture device in response to receiving the media clip creation command.
Mobile Device Accessory
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a mobile device accessory includes a housing defining an attachment surface that is configured to engage a mobile device, a wearable component configured to be worn by a user of the mobile device, a separation detector configured to detect separation of the wearable component relative to the housing, and provide a signal when the wearable component becomes separated from the housing, and an alarm device configured to activate in response to the signal. Alternatively, the mobile device accessory may be a standalone device not designed to be attached to a mobile device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ESTABLISHING A COMMUNICATION CHANNEL BETWEEN COMPUTING DEVICES IN A CUSTOMER CARE ENVIRONMENT
The disclosed embodiments illustrate method and system for establishing a communication channel between computing devices in a customer care environment. The method includes receiving a first input from a customer-computing device associated with the customer. The received first input is compared with one or more pre-stored datasets. Based on the comparison, a plurality of options corresponding to each of a plurality of levels of one or more workflows is rendered on a user interface displayed on a display screen of the customer-computing device. A second input is received for one of the rendered plurality of options. The second input is representative of at least a preference of the customer for a service associated with a workflow. Based on at least the received second input, a communication channel is established between the customer-computing device and an agent-computing device associated with the customer care agent.
ELECTRONIC CONTENT REQUESTS
Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for managing electronic content requests. For example, a user device may collect usage information associated with use of the user device. The user device may transmit data corresponding to a first category of usage information to a service provider. In some examples, a file that comprises a plurality of electronic content items can be received. The file may also contain logic for determining which of the content items to display. The logic may be executed to determine a particular item of the content items to display based at least in part on additional data corresponding to a second category of the usage information. In some examples, the user device may prepare the particular content item for display.
Holiday Telephone Apparatus, System and Method
A holiday telephone system comprising: a smartphone; a holiday telephone in wireless communication with the smartphone; a holiday telephone app installed on the smartphone, where the app is configured to perform a method, the method comprising: creating a new message by inputting a message into the app via the smartphone; selecting an elf character to speak the message; scheduling the app to cause the holiday telephone to ring at predetermined date, and time; and playing the message as recited by the elf character when the telephone is answered. A non-transitory computer-readable medium includes a set of instructions stored thereon that when accessed by a processor enable the processor to perform a method of creating and scheduling a message to be delivered via a telephone, the method comprising: opening a messages page by default; determining whether the user selects to continue with messages; creating a new message if the user selects to continue with messages; determining whether the user selects to use most recently messaged child; choosing select elf, edit elf, or add new elf, if the user selects to use most recently messaged child; selecting an elf character, if the user chose select elf option; choosing enter message or quick message; entering message, if the user chose enter message option; choosing call now or schedule time for message; entering date and time for telephone message to be delivered to a telephone, if the user chose schedule time for message; displaying scheduled message; changing elf name, changing ringtone associated with elf, changing voice associated with elf, changing gender of elf, if the edit elf option was selected in the choosing select elf, edit elf, or add new elf query; returning to the selecting an elf character query; entering name of new elf; entering gender of new elf, selecting ringtone associated with new elf, selecting voice associated with new elf, if add new elf is selected at the choosing select elf, edit elf, or add new elf query.
Enhanced Security for Near Field Communication Enabled Bluetooth Devices
Methods and apparatuses for enhanced security for near field communication Bluetooth devices are described. In one example, a physical proximity of a Bluetooth device is detected with a first near field communications device disposed at a headset base, the Bluetooth device including a second near field communications device. An indication is output at the headset base that a near field communications detect event has occurred. A Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing process is unlocked at the headset base device for a predetermined unlock time interval responsive to the near field communications detect event. The headset base and the Bluetooth device are paired using the Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing process, and the Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing process operation is locked upon completion of the predetermined unlock time interval.
SUBJECT LINE FOR INCOMING CALLS WITHIN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK SERVICES
Calls, e.g., voice calls (telephone calls) and video calls, made within a wireless communication network include a subject line that may or may not be included with an identification of the party making the call. Thus, when a user within the wireless communication network receives a call on a mobile device, prior to answering the call, a subject of the call is displayed to the user or audibly provided to the user. The subject of a call may be automatically provided to the user. In embodiments, a prompt may be required from the user in order to display or hear the subject of the incoming call.
Triggering Actions With Mobile Messages
In one example, a mobile message device may create a message rule to establish a causal relationship between a messaging activity and a device activity or vice versa. A mobile message device may present a message rule user interface to the user to establish a message rule. The message rule user interface may receive from the user a message parameter describing at least one of a message format and a message content of a hypothetical mobile message received in a mobile messaging module. The message rule user interface may receive a response action directive describing a device action to be performed by the mobile message device in response to receiving an incoming mobile message matching the message parameter. The mobile message device may store a message target rule associating the message parameter with the response action directive. The mobile message device may receive the incoming mobile message matching the message parameter. The mobile message device may execute the device action in response to the incoming mobile message according to the response action directive.
