MATERIAL FOR VIBRATION DAMPING AND WEARABLE GARMENT COMPRISING SUCH A MATERIAL
A vibration damping material suitable for use in a wearable garment, comprising a sheet of a flexible material with a first and a second side, both comprising a plurality of protrusions arranged in a predetermined pattern, wherein the protrusions on the first and/or second side of the sheet are arranged to be equidistant from adjacent protrusions, wherein the protrusions are distributed in a substantially uniform pattern throughout the first and/or second side of the sheet of flexible material, wherein the protrusions on the first side of the sheet are arranged to be offset with respect to the protrusions on the second side of the sheet of flexible material. A wearable garment comprising such a vibration damping material is also disclosed.
Insole for ergonomic shoes
An insole for ergonomic shoes according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, including: a plurality of first polygonal grooves that are formed to be arranged in polygonal shapes on a lower surface of the insole; a first wall portion forming a rim of the first polygonal groove; and a second polygonal groove that is disposed in a pressure distribution portion, which is a part of an inner and lower surface of the insole, and is formed of a rim including a second wall portion having a height lower than a height of the first wall portion.
REINFORCEMENT ELEMENT AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A FUNCTIONAL HYBRID REINFORCEMENT ELEMENT
A reinforcing element, suited in particular for shoes, bags or orthopedic applications, comprises a support layer, and a reinforcing layer. The support layer is formed such that it protrudes at least in parts laterally beyond the reinforcing layer to form an edge region. A method for producing such a reinforcing element.
PROTECTIVE ARTICLES HAVING A PLURALITY OF CORE MEMBERS
A protective guard for reducing injury to a shin of a person includes a conformable substrate and a plurality of core members disposed adjacent to a surface of the conformable substrate. The plurality of core members are arranged such that a first of the core members is rotationally movable about at least one axis relative to a second of the core members. A flexible fabric membrane comprised of natural or synthetic fibers is positioned adjacent to at least one of the conformable substrate and the plurality of core members.
Insert for footwear
Disclosed is a readily removable molded insert for footwear, including dress or casual shoes and sneakers. The insert may be manufactured from a variety of resiliently compressible, semi-rigid, and/or resiliently deformable materials and is designed for the purpose of maintaining the general shape and appearance of the upper section of a shoe. Embodiments of the insert are specifically designed to adapt to and conform to the shape of footwear and also to adapt to the contour of a user’s foot while the footwear is being worn. The insert may be further cut, trimmed, or separated to fit a range of shoe sizes, by use of perforations along the outer rim of certain embodiments of the insert. Another embodiment of the insert may remain adhesively attached to the inside of the shoe, or it may be removed and repositioned within the shoe, as necessary.
