MEASUREMENT METHOD

The present disclosure provides a method of measuring the effectiveness of an intervention in a hybrid fiber-metal access network. The effectiveness measure is determined in accordance with the improvement in the attenuation and the maximum achievable data rate. The effectiveness measure is used to determine whether a further network intervention is required.

Systems and methods for using an audio cross-connect cable for remote mobile device testing

The disclosed technology teaches ad hoc testing a connection between subscriber mobile phone and counterpart location with which the subscriber is having trouble, including positioning a test harness near the location, remote from the subscriber and from a service technician. The harness includes a controller, two mobile phones with an audio cross-over cable connection between, and control connections between controller and phones. The cable feeds output of respective speakers to respective microphones and inhibits transmission between the phones of signals for button presses. The controller receives a test start signal from the technician and establishes a test connection between technician equipment and subscriber equipment through the counterpart location, establishing a call connection between the first phone and the technician equipment; and establishing a second test call connection between the second phone and the subscriber phone, so the technician and subscriber have an audio connection over the audio cross-over cable.

CONFERENCING ENVIRONMENT MONITORING

Example implementations relate to conferencing environment monitoring. An example monitoring device can include a processor to monitor a physical aspect and an audio aspect of a conferencing environment in which a conferencing device is located, wherein the conferencing device is communicatively coupled to the monitoring device. The monitoring device can detect, based on the monitoring, an issue impacting a conferencing session associated with the conferencing device and the conferencing environment. In response to the detection, the monitoring device can determine a correction for the issue and perform the correction.

Interactive voice response system design, development and testing tool

Example embodiments relate to a tool for design, development, and testing (DDT) of interactive voice response systems. The DDT tool can also receive data representative of an interactive voice response call flow, such as data representative of an interactive voice response call flow diagram, and determine whether an error in the interactive voice response call flow is present. The DDT tool can also accept a test case script insert, which can be inputted into the call flow diagram, and can generate test case script comprising the test case script insert.

Testing methods and systems for mobile communication devices

A testing method for testing mobile communication devices comprises transmitting, by a testing front end module, a testing profile associated with a Universal Integrated Circuit Card, UICC, to a mobile communication device, activating the testing profile on the mobile communication device, setting, by a testing controller, the configuration of the mobile communication device to a testing mode according to the information of the activated testing profile of the UICC, and performing operational tests on the mobile communication device using a testing front end module of a testing system while the configuration of the mobile communication device is set to the testing mode.

A server can receive a plurality of records at a databases such that each record is associated with a phone call and includes at least one request generated based on a transcript of the phone call. The server can generate a training dataset based on the plurality of records. The server can further train a binary classification model using the training dataset. Next, the server can receive a live transcript of a phone call in progress. The server can generate at least one live request based on the live transcript using a natural language processing module of the server. The server can provide the at least one live request to the binary classification model as input to generate a prediction. Lastly, the server can transmit the prediction to an entity receiving the phone call in progress. The prediction can cause a transfer of the call to a chatbot.

Telecommunication system and method for flexible control of the telecommunication system using a switching command issued by an application to a platform
10582048 · 2020-03-03 · ·

A telecommunication system is configurable so that there can be flexible control of a switching command issued by an application to a platform where the switching command is executable in (a) a first execution mode in which the switching command is executed simultaneous with switching and verified or (b) a second execution mode in which the switching command is executed immediately and without verification. The application can be run to cause the switching command to be sent to the platform and the platform can execute the switching command received from the application. At least one of resting on a case-by-case basis and deciding which execution mode should be utilized for execution of the switching command can also occur before the sending of the switching command and/or before the executing of the switching command.
