METHOD OF ACCESSING A DIAL-UP SERVICE
A method of accessing a dial-up service is disclosed. An example method of providing access to a service includes receiving a first speech signal from a user to form a first utterance; recognizing the first utterance using speaker independent speaker recognition; requesting the user to enter a personal identification number; and when the personal identification number is valid, receiving a second speech signal to form a second utterance and providing access to the service.
Attaching multiple phone lines to a single mobile or landline phone
Agencies issue multiple devices to personnel for maintaining distinct identities over the course of assigned investigations. To provide flexible capabilities to agencies, a phone is converted for use with multiple attached telephone numbers. Accordingly, a single phone may be used to manage multiple identities over the course of one or more investigations. Using a multiple attached number, a given device can place and receive calls over the network to and from contacts. In addition to providing multiple attached numbers, calls using the multiple attached numbers may be monitored live and recorded to establish evidence.
Destination device billing according to call recipient
A method, system, and program for billing for service provided to destination device according to the calling plan of the individual receiving the call. An authenticated identity for a callee answering a call placed to a destination device is received at an intermediary device. The intermediary device then accesses a billing plan for the authenticated identity of the callee and loads the billing plan for specifying charges for the call, such that telephone service billed to the callee is accessible at multiple destination devices.
Conference system with enhanced security and authentication
A system receives, at a conference platform, a communication from a communications device of a requester requesting to host an audio conference. The system determines whether an access code provided by the requester is a valid access code associated with a provider communications address specified by the requester. A processor identifies a country from which the communication of the requester originated and determines whether the country from which the communication of the requester originated is a pre-authorized country, associated with a host account, from which to host the global audio conference. An audio conference is established when the access code specified by the requester is determined to be a valid access code associated with the provider communications address specified by the requester and when the country from which the communication of the requester originated is determined to be a pre-authorized country from which to host the audio conference.
Using calling party number for caller authentication
Embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product that authenticates a caller using calling party information. In an embodiment, an authentication device receives the call request and associated calling party information that includes a calling party number. The authentication device retrieves parameters associated with the calling party number, where a retrieved parameter is a number of accounts linked to the calling party number. The authentication device determines whether the number of accounts is between one and a threshold value, inclusive, and verifies that the call request originates from a location or a device associated with the calling party number. Based on the verifying and determining, the authentication device generates an authentication result that indicates whether the calling party number is authenticated. Then, the authentication device sends the authentication result to a call processing device that processes the call request from the caller according to the authentication result.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR WIRELESS SOLICITATIONS
Product offering systems are provided. Product offering systems may include sending an offer to a customer that possesses a mobile computing device and has agreed to receive offers for products via the mobile computing device. Agreeing to receive offers would result in the unique data about the customer being available to offer provider. Unique customer data may include data related to the customers wireless service provider or from a financial account in a financial institution, and collecting customer data about the customer, wherein the customer data comprises financial data and personal data. Product offering systems may further include registering a wireless computing device of the customer to able the device to receive the offer, and determining opportunities to send the offer to the customer by monitoring the customer and the customer data. Product offering systems may also include sending the offer to the customer's registered device based on the determination of opportunities.
Method for preventing sip device from being attacked, calling device, and called device
The present disclosure discloses a method for preventing a SIP device from being attacked, a calling device, and a called device, belonging to the field of network security. The present disclosure provides a method including: generating, by a calling device and a called device, the same public password, and transmitting, by the calling device, a connection request to the called device; performing, by the called device, header field verification on the connection request to verify whether a specified header field is carried in the connection request; performing, by the called device, device verification on the connection request; and performing, by the called device, identity verification on the connection request, and establishing, by the called device, a connection to the calling device. In this case, spoofing data is filtered out and the SIP device is not easily attacked, so that a user is free of disturbance.
Monitoring and detection of fraudulent or unauthorized use in telephone conferencing systems or voice networks
Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing monitoring and detection of fraudulent or unauthorized use in telephone conferencing systems or voice networks. In various embodiments, a computing system might monitor call activity through telephone conferencing system or voice network. In response to detecting use of the telephone conferencing system or voice network by at least one party based on the monitored call activity, the computing system might identify incoming and/or outgoing associated with a call initiated by the at least one party. The computing system might analyze the identified incoming and/or outgoing call data to determine whether the call initiated by the at least one party constitutes at least one of fraudulent use or unauthorized use of the telephone conferencing system or voice network. If so, the computing system might initiate one or more first actions.
Data access system for representatives
Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for providing selective data access to representatives. In some embodiments, the system can monitor a call between a user and a representative regarding a subject matter. The user can have an associated profile with data, and the data can be locked such that the representative cannot access the data. During the conversation between the representative and the user, the system can continuously convert both parties' speech into text. The system can determine an intent of the call based on the text and unlock a portion of the data about the user based on the determined intent of the call. Only the unlocked portion of the data is displayed to the representative.
Methods and systems for authenticating a user on a call
Methods and systems described in this disclosure allow customers to quickly be authenticated. In some embodiments, a device and a user verifier are associated with a user profile. When a call is received from the device, the user may be requested to input the user verifier. After verifying that the device is unique to the user and that the user verifier matches the user verifier associated with the user profile, the user may be authenticated to the call or activity.
