System and method for providing a public/private telephone number system

This invention shows a method for operating a voice communications network that comprises dynamically associating a private number with at least one public number of a circuit-switched voice communication network, authenticating a user of a private number without reliance on a static reproducible data code, receiving an incoming call to the public number and routing the incoming call from a caller to the private number. The method also shows the generation of an outgoing call from the private number and passing the outgoing call through the public number while generating calling party information to a target which preserves the privacy of the caller, and altering an associating of the private number and at least one public number. The system therefore acts as a proxy with authentication by means of dynamic code security. The caller and the user of the private number share seamless round-trip telephone communications while preserving the anonymity of the user of the private number. The system functionality is advantageously presented as a restricted option space defined by a “skin”, which provides a consistent and purposeful set of functionality useful for a predetermined population of users.

Method of connection of outside callers to the electronic control system subscribers for information on objects of property
20170289348 · 2017-10-05 ·

The claimed method of connection of outside callers to electronic control system subscribers provides for communication sessions between the callers and the subscribers to inform the subscribers about their property's objects, such as vehicles, buildings, apartments, pets, etc., ensuring personal data confidentiality therebetween. The method contemplates application of an electronic control system, including an electronic computing device configured to connect to the Internet, mobile and fixed-line communication networks connected to telephone numbers, network addresses of instant messaging systems and addresses of network accounts, application of IVR interactive voice response systems, and provides for an algorithm of indirect connection of the callers and subscribers. The addresses of network instant messaging systems, network accounts, and other personal data are used only for connection to the system of the callers and subscribers while are not transferred to these parties, thereby ensuring confidentiality therebetween.

System and Method for Allocation And Management Of Shared Virtual Numbers

Aspects of the present disclosure provide a system and method in which allocation and management of shared virtual numbers is achieved. In an embodiment, a request is received from an external server, over a network, for allocation and de-allocation of virtual numbers among agents and customers. Thereafter, a first virtual number is allocated and mapped between a first agent and a first customer, and the same first virtual number is also allocated and mapped between a second agent and a second customer. Such allocation and mapping enables communication between corresponding agents and customers. In addition to the allocation, a number may also be de-allocated. For example, the first virtual number mapping between the first agent and first customer can be de-allocated, thereby deactivating the first virtual number for a predetermined time, during which time the first virtual number is not allocated to another combination of a customer and an agent.

Authentication of phone call origination

A method of authenticating a call origination directed to an enterprise call center. The method comprises receiving a first call origination message from a communication network by a computer system, wherein the first call origination message comprises an automatic number identification (ANI) storing a first phone number, determining by the computer system that the first phone number is not associated with an originator of the first call origination message, and responsive to determining that the first phone number is not associated with the originator of the first call origination message, dropping the first call origination message by the computer system and not answering the associated call, whereby the enterprise call center reduces its vulnerability to call origination spoofing.

Multiple device and multiple line connected home and home monitoring

Systems, devices, and techniques for multiple device and multiple line enabled computing devices and computing appliances are described herein. A device number can be assigned to a computing device and can be unique to the computing device. A plurality of alias numbers can be provided to the computing device and enabled for use by the computing device. Alias numbers can be enabled on multiple computing appliances, such that a user can transfer voice or video calls between devices using the alias numbers. Further, monitoring components in a home environment, for example, can be associated with one or more alias number so that security alerts can be provided to the various computing devices and computing appliances associated with the alias numbers.

Systems and methods of controlled reciprocating communication

Systems and method for controlled pre-interaction are disclosed. The method of performing controlled pre-interaction includes: providing at least one private interaction address, defining at least one manageable public interaction address, forming a record of manageable public interaction address associated with the private interaction address. The method of performing controlled pre-interaction further includes: generating a reverse list, wherein an interaction address of a participant is associated at least with the manageable public interaction address, and performing at least one pre-interaction act. A pre-interaction act includes: accessing the reverse list, identifying the interaction address of the participant in the reverse list, and determining that the manageable public interaction address is associated, at the reverse list, with the interaction address of the participant.

Recording user communications

A call handling platform receives a call placed by a caller. The call handling platform collects data points based on an interaction of the caller with an interactive voice response module during the call, and computes an experience score for the caller. The call handling platform accesses a predetermined first threshold that indicates a first level of caller satisfaction and compares the experience score to the first threshold. Based on the comparing, the call handling platform determines that the caller has a lower level of satisfaction than the first level of satisfaction, and routes the call to a human agent. The call handling platform determines whether an option for recording a call is enabled. Based on determining that the option for recording a call is enabled, the call handling platform initiates recording of the interaction between the caller and the human agent.

Attaching multiple phone lines to a single mobile or landline phone

Agencies issue multiple devices to personnel for maintaining distinct identities over the course of assigned investigations. To provide flexible capabilities to agencies, a phone is converted for use with multiple attached telephone numbers. Accordingly, a single phone may be used to manage multiple identities over the course of one or more investigations. Using a multiple attached number, a given device can place and receive calls over the network to and from contacts. In addition to providing multiple attached numbers, calls using the multiple attached numbers may be monitored live and recorded to establish evidence.

Systems and methods for setting up a telephony communication include an operating system of a user telephony device diverting a call setup request made via a native dialer of the user telephony device to a telephony software application on the user telephony device. The telephony software application then sets up the requested telephony communication using a telephony communication application programming interface (API).
