NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND TERMINAL
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program, which when executed by a processor of a terminal, cause the terminal to perform a process may be provided. The process may include displaying, on a display unit of the terminal, a chat room including a user of the terminal and a first user of a first terminal, the terminal and the first terminal being different from the terminal, and displaying, in the chat room, call information pertaining to a call between at least the user and the first user, wherein the call information includes sound information pertaining to sound.
Method and Apparatus for Defeating Computer-Generated, Telemarketing, and Robo-Calls to Phones
A system for defeating computer-generated, telemarketing, and Robo calls is provided. An originating switch receives a call from a calling party and determines a call route to a called party. The call is received at a destination switch and the profile of the called party is assessed. If the called party is not a subscriber to the system, the call is then passed or connected to the called party. If the called party is a subscriber to the system, a digital audio track is played back to the calling party, the audio track indicating a call failure that can be detected by the source of computer-generated, telemarketing, and Robo calls. The signals are of such a nature that the calling party would determine that the number is not a valid number and remove it from a calling list. If a called party is not a subscriber, the call simply continues to the called party without interjection of any digital audio track. The system also may require the entry of dual-tone multi-frequency signals by the calling party to differentiate from those calls to be terminated.
Mobile phone as point of sale (POS) device
A system and method for provisioning one or more value added services to a postpaid/prepaid mobile account and/or a postpaid/prepaid mobile device using a wireless communication device as a point-of-sale device, is disclosed.

EARLY-MEDIA SERVICE CONTROL DEVICE, EARLY-MEDIA SERVICE CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM HAVING PROGRAM STORED THEREON
When a parameter included in a session start request indicates that a session-start-request-transmitting terminal device has reserved a resource, a parameter value rewrite unit rewrites the value of the parameter into a value indicating the resource unreserved. A session start request transmission control unit controls a communication unit to cause a session start request after the value of the parameter is rewritten to be transmitted to a session-start-request-receiving network. When the parameter value rewrite unit has not rewritten the value of the parameter, the received session start request is transmitted. When receiving a response indicating that a resource is reserved in a session-start-request-receiving terminal device, a calling-in-progress notification transmission control unit controls the communication unit so that calling-in-progress notification is transmitted to the session-start-request-transmitting terminal device.
System and method for compensating telecommunication subscribers for permitting playing of advertisements as ring back tones and direct activation of advertised services
A system and method for compensating subscribers for permitting playing of advertisements as ring back tones and direct activation of advertised services is provided. The method includes receiving by a telecommunication service provider a call initiated by a caller. The method further includes establishing status of at least one of caller and callee by checking home location register of the telecommunication service provider. Establishing status includes determining RBT subscription status of caller and callee. Depending on the RBT subscription status of caller and callee, the call is transferred to a tone player within RBT system of at least one of caller and callee. A compensation system then selects a media file to be played to caller based on RBT to Advertisement ratios of subscribers. The selected media file may be an RBT file or an advertisement message, which is then played to the caller.
Personalizing the audio visual experience during telecommunications
A method and system are provided. The method includes identifying content in a telecommunication session between a caller and one or more other parties. The method further includes dynamically personalizing media provided to the caller on a telecommunication device during at least a portion of a subsequent telecommunication session between the caller and at least one of the one or more other parties based on the identified content in the telecommunication session. The telecommunication session occurs prior to the subsequent telecommunication session.
System and a method for selecting a ring back tone to be provided to a caller
The present subject matter relates to a method and a system for selecting a ring back tone to be provided to a caller. The method comprising selecting, by a subscriber, an editable audio file with a predetermined duration; encrypting the selected editable audio file on a storage device; communicating, by a communication interface, a start time of the selected editable audio file to the server, the server transcodes and smoothens the selected portion of the editable audio file; transferring, by the server, the transcoded audio file to the mobile operator network as a ring back tone.
Intelligent call handling and routing
Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to routing decisions implemented in response to VoIP telephone calls. According to a specific example, in response to the VoIP telephone calls, a first set of one or more documents are identified and executed to make routing decisions for the VoIP telephone calls. A second set of one or more documents are then identified based upon an association with the routing decisions. The second set of documents identify data to be retrieved from data sources. In response to the data, call control functionality is provided for the VoIP calls.
Method and Apparatus for Processing Caller Ring Back Tone, Storage Medium, and Electronic Device
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for processing a Caller Ring Back Tone (CRBT), a storage medium and an electronic device. The method includes: receiving, via a core network, a call request initiated by a calling user towards a called user; sending, according to the call request, to the calling user a video CRBT preset by the called user, and notifying the calling user to play back the video CRBT; and sending the call request to the called user after a playback duration of the video CRBT reaches a preset configuration duration.
