Multimode service communication configuration for performing transactions
Processing customer communications may include receiving a communication from a customer device via a first communication medium, retrieving a customer record associated with the customer device, determining the customer record has a pending status associated with a logged customer device action, transmitting an optional display link to the customer device via a second communication medium different from the first communication medium, receiving a selection from the customer device associated with the optional display link, identifying a third party candidate for processing the customer device action based on the at least one selection, transmitting a request to process the customer device action to the third party candidate, and transmitting a notification to the customer device responsive to receiving confirmation of the request from the third party candidate.
Intelligent call handling and routing based on numbering plan area code
Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to routing decisions implemented in response to data communications. According to a specific example, one or more computer processor circuits are to interface with remotely-situated client entities using a first programming language, and to provide a database of data communications services based on a subscription. In response to receipt of a data communication, client-specific sets of control data can be identified. The client-specific sets of control data are derived from programming instructions received over a message exchange protocol and corresponding to a second programming language that is compatible with the first programming language. Based on the client-specific sets of control data and using a numbering plan area (NPA) code of the received data communication, a nearby extension of the client entity can be identified, and the received data communication can be routed to the nearby extension.
Contextual Preferred Response Time Alert
In an approach for recommending a response time for callback, a processor receives an indication to initiate a callback to a caller after the caller requests the callback from a callee, wherein the callee is a user whom the caller has called. A processor analyzes callback information. A processor determines a callback time based on the callback information. A processor sends an alert about the callback, wherein the alert includes the determined callback time.
ATTACHING MULTIPLE PHONE LINES TO A SINGLE MOBILE OR LANDLINE PHONE
Agencies issue multiple devices to personnel for maintaining distinct identities over the course of assigned investigations. To provide flexible capabilities to agencies, a phone is converted for use with multiple attached telephone numbers. Accordingly, a single phone may be used to manage multiple identities over the course of one or more investigations. Using a multiple attached number, a given device can place and receive calls over the network to and from contacts. In addition to providing multiple attached numbers, calls using the multiple attached numbers may be monitored live and recorded to establish evidence.
Dynamic method for determining a list of services in an SIP network
A method is provided for determining a list of services for a user of a customer device of operator network implementing SIP. The method includes: the customer device inserts a list of services that it has the technical means to provide into a request for registration with the operator network; where appropriate, each intermediate network relating the customer device to the operator network transmits the request to the operator network after having deleted therefrom or marked, in the list of services, all services that the intermediate network does not have technical means to provide and/or for which the intermediate network does not have a use agreement with the operator of the upstream and/or downstream network to which it is connected; and the operator network obtains a definitive list by extracting services to which the user is entitled among the services that the operator network has the technical means to provide.
Automated bulk provisioning of primary rate interface and SIP trunk telephone numbers
A broadband provisioning system configured for bulk provisioning of communications services is provided. The system includes an order manager that includes machine executable instructions stored on machine readable media, the instructions for: receiving a request to provision a plurality of telephone numbers with communications services; creating details for the request and setting an initial state for the request; and upon commencement of processing of the request, updating the state of the request to indicate ongoing processing, provisioning each telephone number in the request by associating resources therewith, and updating a status for each telephone number provisioned; and upon completion of processing, changing the state of the request to indicate completion.
SECURE LANGUAGE INTERPRETING SERVICE
An interpretation system determines an interpreter for a user, the interpreter comprising one or more individuals certified or qualified to interpret from a first language of the user to English language. The system may then transmit information to each of an interpreter device of the determined interpreter and a user device of the user, wherein the transmitted information is usable to initiate a HIPAA compliant direct communication channel between the interpreter device and the user device using a third-party communication service and the direct communication channel is not accessible by the interpretation system. The system may receive a first call duration from the interpreter and a second call duration from the user and may determine a final call duration based at least on the first call duration and the second call duration.
Synchronous Communication Using Voice and Text
A computing device is described that accepts, a telephone call, from another device, initiated by a caller. Prior to establishing a telephone user interface that receives spoken input from the user and outputs spoken audio from the caller, the computing device executes a call screening service that outputs an audio user interface, to the other device and as part of the telephone call. The audio user interface interrogates the caller for additional information including a purpose of the telephone call, which allows the user to have more context of the telephone call before deciding whether to accept the call or hang up. The computing device outputs a graphical user interface associated with telephone call. The graphical user interface includes an indication of the additional information obtained via the audio user interface that interrogates the caller.
Method and apparatus for performing network registration through a selected component for data service
An electronic device is provided that includes a removable SIM to store a first profile including information related to a home network and information related to a roaming network. The portable electronic device also includes an eSIM, and communication circuitry. The portable electronic device further includes at least one processor adapted to determine that the portable electronic device is out of network service coverage corresponding to the home network based at least in part on the first profile, establish, using the communication circuitry, a specified communication connection with the roaming network using the first profile based at least in part on the determining, transmit a request for a second profile associated with data service via the specified communication connection, and receive, in response to the request, the second profile via the specified communication connection, the receiving including storing the second profile in the eSIM.
Methods, apparatus and systems for adjusting do-not-disturb (DND) levels based on callers and meeting attendees
Representative methods, apparatus and systems to adjust Do Not Disturb (DND) levels in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) are disclosed. One representative method includes determining, by the WTRU, that a user of the WTRU is participating or is going to participate in a meeting; obtaining, by the WTRU, organizational hierarchy information; determining a priority associated with one or more meeting participants based on the organizational hierarchy information; and adjusting, without user input, a DND level of the WTRU based on the determined priority.
