Systems and methods for providing network-based content to an in-vehicle telematics system
A method for providing network-based content to an in-vehicle telematics system is shown and described. The method includes include establishing a communications link between communications electronics of the vehicle telematics system and a remote content management server in communication with a plurality of remote content providers. The method further includes using the communications link to communicate with the remote content management server using an application programming interface. The processing electronics receives content from the plurality of remote content providers via the application programming interface. The communication between the remote content management server and at least one of the plurality of remote content providers is conducted according to a protocol for which the vehicle telematics system does not have an interface.
System and method for conversational configuration of applications
A configuration-file generation system for generating a configuration-file to configure an application for an enterprise is provided. The configuration-file generation system includes an IVR module for enabling a user to verbally interact with the configuration-file generation system. The configuration-file generation system further includes an analyzing module for analyzing and querying any information missed by the user. The configuration-file generation system further includes a suggestion module for searching and suggesting possible options corresponding to the missing information with the help of semantic web technology and with an experience database. The configuration-file generation system further includes a configuration-file generation module for generating a configuration-file based on available information received from the user. The configuration-file may then be passed to an application configuration module for configuring the application as required.
Visual interactive voice response system
A request is received from a communications device to execute an interaction site. A request is transmitted to the automated response system. First instructions that provide one or more steps of the multi-step communication flow between the communications device and the automated response system are received from the automated response system. In response to determining that the request is for the voice-interaction with the interaction site, second instructions that provide the one or more steps through a voice interaction with a user of the communications device are determined and transmitted to the communications device. In response to determining that the request is for the visual-interaction with the interaction site, third instructions that provide the one or more steps through a visual interaction with the user of the communications device are determined and transmitted to the communications device.
Service assembly and delivery
A system for assembling and delivering a communications service or product is described which is flexible to accommodate the rapid introduction of new product/service offerings on a frequent basis. The method involves receiving data relating to a number of communication service components and creating and storing a data structure for each communication service component. Data is also received relating to a communication service, the data identifying at least one of the communication service components and a data structure for the communications service is created and stored. In response to receiving an input requesting provisioning of the communications service, an end-to-end process flow for delivering the communications service is automatically created based on the data structure for the communications service and the data structure for the identified communication service components.
VIRTUAL NETWORK SYSTEM, MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND VIRTUAL NETWORK MANAGEMENT METHOD
The present invention enables simplification of a setting operation when various services are provided via an MVNO. A virtual network system is provided with a first device, a second device, and a third device. The first device utilizes a mobile communication service provided by a mobile virtual network operator to authenticate a user terminal that accesses a first physical network. The second device permits the user terminal that has been successfully authenticated to access, via a virtual network configured in a second physical network, a virtual network of the first physical network in accordance with the result of the authentication. The third device sets information concerning the user terminal in the first and the second device.
NETWORK BASED PERSONAL NUMBER BLOCKING
Systems, devices, and techniques described herein are directed to network based personal number blocking. In particular, the systems, devices, and techniques can be implemented in networks including user equipment (UE) associated with native numbers and alias numbers, and can include blocking native numbers or alias numbers. Further, users can access a user profile or an application via a UE to assign personal number blocking (PNB) preferences to the various native numbers and alias numbers. Indications of such PNB can be transmitted from a UE to a network device to update a user profile in a central repository or database. If a user activates another UE or otherwise associates additional native numbers or alias numbers, the PNB can be seamlessly applied to the new device or numbers.
Multimode service communication configuration for performing transactions
Processing customer communications may include receiving a communication from a customer device via a first communication medium, retrieving a customer record associated with the customer device, determining the customer record has a pending status associated with a logged customer device action, transmitting an optional display link to the customer device via a second communication medium different from the first communication medium, receiving a selection from the customer device associated with the optional display link, identifying a third party candidate for processing the customer device action based on the at least one selection, transmitting a request to process the customer device action to the third party candidate, and transmitting a notification to the customer device responsive to receiving confirmation of the request from the third party candidate.
METHODS, APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR ADJUSTING DO-NOT-DISTURB (DND) LEVELS BASED ON CALLERS AND MEETING ATTENDEES
Representative methods, apparatus and systems to adjust Do Not Disturb (DND) levels in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) are disclosed. One representative method includes determining, by the WTRU, that a user of the WTRU is participating or is going to participate in a meeting; obtaining, by the WTRU, organizational hierarchy information; determining a priority associated with one or more meeting participants based on the organizational hierarchy information; and adjusting, without user input, a DND level of the WTRU based on the determined priority.
Personalizing the audio visual experience during telecommunications
A method and system are provided. The method includes identifying content in a telecommunication session between a caller and one or more other parties. The method further includes dynamically personalizing media provided to the caller on a telecommunication device during at least a portion of a subsequent telecommunication session between the caller and at least one of the one or more other parties based on the identified content in the telecommunication session. The telecommunication session occurs prior to the subsequent telecommunication session.
SYSTEM FOR REAL TIME, REMOTE ACCESS TO AND ADJUSTMENT OF PATIENT HEARING AID WITH PATIENT IN NORMAL LIFE ENVIRONMENT
Real time, remote access to and adjustment of the hearing aid of a patient while the patient is located in a normal life environment that is remote from a hearing professional. A session request initiates a programming session. Adjustable settings from the patient's hearing aid are wirelessly streamed to the patient's mobile device and from the mobile device to a streaming cloud server. The settings are stored on the cloud, streamed from the cloud to a hearing professional's computer or mobile device and displayed. The hearing professional then changes at least one of the adjustable hearing aid settings and the changed settings are streamed to the cloud, stored on the cloud, streamed from the cloud to the patient's mobile device, wirelessly transmitted to the hearing aid and stored there. A telephonic voice connection between the hearing professional and the patient's mobile device is used to transmit the patient's evaluation of changed settings to the hearing professional.
