Automatically unsubscribing from automated calls based on call audio patterns
The disclosure herein describes automatically unsubscribing from automated calls based on automated call audio patterns. Audio data of an incoming call is accessed and an incoming call audio pattern is generated based on the audio data of the incoming call. The incoming call audio pattern is compared to an automated call audio pattern set by a call screening engine. Based on the comparison, the user is prompted for a call response instruction. Based on the call response instruction from the user, the call screening engine identifies an unsubscribe operation indication in the incoming call audio pattern, performs an unsubscribe operation associated with the identified unsubscribe operation indication, and updates the automated call audio pattern set based on the incoming call audio pattern. The disclosure enables efficient handling of automated calls and reduces user interaction necessary to unsubscribe from associated call lists.
ATTACHING MULTIPLE PHONE LINES TO A SINGLE MOBILE OR LANDLINE PHONE
Agencies issue multiple devices to personnel for maintaining distinct identities over the course of assigned investigations. To provide flexible capabilities to agencies, a phone is converted for use with multiple attached telephone numbers. Accordingly, a single phone may be used to manage multiple identities over the course of one or more investigations. Using a multiple attached number, a given device can place and receive calls over the network to and from contacts. In addition to providing multiple attached numbers, calls using the multiple attached numbers may be monitored live and recorded to establish evidence.
TELEPHONY WEB EVENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
An embodiment of the system for publishing events of a telephony application to a client includes a call router that generates events from the telephony application and an event router that manages the publication of events generated by the call router and that manages the subscription to events by clients. The system can be used with a telephony application that interfaces with a telephony device and an application server
PERSONALIZED CONTENT PROCESSING AND DELIVERY SYSTEM AND MEDIA
A personalized content system enables a user with a communications device to convert and/or passively receive pre-selected content from multiple resources. A communications device has hardware and software to provide input and transmission to convert content from any form of media. The converted content is created by retrieving a digital copy of a digital record associated with it, and processing the digital copy for at least a web-based personalized application. Conversion is based on input of a code such as a telephone number, server program address, and a set of and/or range of characters. The transmission is communicated to at least one server that recognizes the code, the originating telephone number associated with the communications device, the device identifier associated with the communications device, and combinations thereof. The server retrieves a digital record and processes content and outputs based on user input, a user and/or program profile, and combinations thereof.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING USER PLANE OPERATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5.sup.th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). Embodiments herein achieve a UE for managing a user plane operation in a wireless communication system. The UE includes a user plane management unit coupled to a memory and a processor. The user plane management unit is configured to receive a signaling message from a gNodeB. Further, the user plane management unit is configured to determine whether the signaling message includes control information comprising one of a PDCP re-establish indication and a security key change indication. Further, the user plane management unit is configured to perform the at least one operation for at least one data radio bearer based on the determination.
Telephony web event system and method
An embodiment of the system for publishing events of a telephony application to a client includes a call router that generates events from the telephony application and an event router that manages the publication of events generated by the call router and that manages the subscription to events by clients. The system can be used with a telephony application that interfaces with a telephony device and an application server.
SPEAKERPHONE WITH BEAMFORMER-BASED CONFERENCE CHARACTERIZATION AND RELATED METHODS
A speakerphone is disclosed. The speakerphone comprises an interface, a speaker, a plurality of microphones, a processor, and a memory. The speakerphone is configured to: obtain a first plurality of microphone input signals of a conference; determine a first plurality of beamforming parameters; obtain a first internal output signal for provision of a first internal audio output signal; output the first internal audio output signal; obtain a third microphone input signal associated with the first internal audio output signal; obtain a second internal output signal for provision of a second internal audio output signal; output the second internal audio output signal; obtain a fourth microphone input signal associated with the second internal audio output signal; determine a first impulse response; determine a second impulse response; and determine one or more conference parameters indicative of a conference configuration, the one or more conference parameters including a first conference parameter; and output the first conference parameter.
Method for optimizing quality of experience in mixed managed and unmanaged network environments with governance and regulation constraints
A method and system are provided for routing a call initiated by a member of an organization having communication servers for handling the call routing, wherein the organization communication servers are located at different geographical areas. Media routing decisions are made within a distributed communications system that spans both managed and unmanaged networks, while taking into account a large set of input metrics. The method and system optimize the call routing for quality of experience while maintaining restrictions posed by companies and organizations that need to adhere to strict policies, either internal or external, such as governance and regulation.
Network services dependent upon geographical constraints
A method and system arc disclosed for determining the geographic location of a user communicating on a communications network such as the Internet. In one embodiment, a provider of a product or service: (a) receives the user's phone number (or other identification for contacting the user's station), and (b) supplies the user's station with a distinctive identifier. The provider then supplies a location determining service with the user's phone number (or other identification). A phone call is made to the phone number by the location determining service for retrieving the distinctive identifier from the network station having the phone number. If the distinctive identifier is retrieved and the location determining service determines that the user's station is within an appropriate geographical area (or not within an inappropriate area), then the provider can provide the requested product or service to the user.
