Apparatus, devices, methods and computer programs relating to actionable objects
A method and system are disclosed for enabling a telephone call to be made an actionable object and enabling that actionable object to be updated. The user device may have a graphical user interface on which the phone call is presented as an actionable object. The user device may be the same device (e.g. a smartphone) on which the call was made and/or may be a separate device (e.g. a desktop or laptop or tablet computer or the like). The data received by the computer apparatus may be for example one or more of start time of the call, end time of the call, duration of the call, telephone number of the third party, location of the user and call disposition.
EVENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Provided is a user interface for both event generation and participation.
An event management system includes: an API database that stores an event execution management API and a resource management API; an event database that stores an event execution program and log data; an API registration processing unit; an event generation processing unit; an event registration processing unit; and a communication processing unit. The event management system treats a module as a nested scenario; uses a time zone and a field zone, a transition arrow, an icon, and a descriptor; interprets, in a completed chart diagram, a structure of the time zone, field zone information, an inclusion relationship of contents and a descriptor with respect to the time zone, portion arrangement information of contents and the descriptor on another icon, and a connection relationship of a transition arrow; generates an analysis structure to set as a structure unique to a chart and a module; and realizes chart interpretation equivalent to programming in a markup language.
System and method for providing a network service in a distributed fashion to a mobile device
A mobile virtual network operator is provided. The operator includes a server that is communicatively coupled to a mobile device. The mobile device includes application software provided by the virtual network operator for allowing phone call and data connectivity.
Systems and methods for mobile wireless advertising platform part II
A system of wireless advertising platform has a handheld wireless device that has an inbound wireless data function with a storage function to be able to receive and store, audio, text, image, and flash commercial messages from a message server. The device has a message exposure function that exposes these messages to a device user from the stored memory of the device into the incoming and outgoing communication, to and from the device user. The device has a message tracking function that tracks which messages have been exposed and periodically sends an account record to the message server. The message server has a message provider interface for planning and managing an advertising campaign using the wireless devices.
Delivery of voicemails to handheld devices
Briefly, a variety of embodiments, including the following, are described: a system embodiment and methods that allow random access to voice messages, in contrast to sequential access in existing system embodiments; a system embodiment and methods that allow for the optional use of voice recognition to enhance usability; and a system embodiment and methods that apply to the area of voicemail.
Prompt detection by dividing waveform snippets into smaller snipplet portions
Prompt snippets (typically 800 ms long) that are used to detect voice prompts within a call waveform may be divided into smaller sniplet portions (approx. 100 ms) long. The presence of a prompt in a call waveform may be detected by detecting the sniplets and determining if a sufficient number of the sniplets of a snippet were detected in sequence and within allowable time constraints. The use of sniplets improves accuracy of prompt detection in call waveforms in lower quality transmissions.
