Advanced telephony functionality for chat groups in a communication platform
A method including receiving, from a non-participant, a request to access a chat group at a voice call number, the chat group including multiple participants is provided. The method includes providing a list of the participants to the non-participant, so that the non-participant may select to talk to a first participant from the list of the participants, receiving a call, from the non-participant to the first participant, at the voice call number via a voice communication channel, and initiating a voice data transfer between the first participant and the non-participant through the voice communication channel. A system and a non-transitory, computer readable medium storing instructions to cause the system to execute the above method are also provided.

Ultra-wideband control of smart streaming devices
Systems and methods for transitioning a call between two devices are disclosed herein. An origin device for the call is determined based on a first position of an ultra-wideband (UWB) device. A destination device for the call is then determined based on a second position of the UWB device. The UWB device sends transition commands to both the origin device and the destination device, each transition command including an identifier of the other device. Using the identifier of the origin device, the destination device connects to the call the origin device is currently participating in. When the origin device detects that the destination device has connected to the call, the origin device disconnects from the call.
Transferring an active telephone conversation
According to one embodiment, a computing device may conduct an active telephone conversation and a proximity of the computing device to a second computing device may be determined to be within a predetermined distance. Moreover, a determination of a capability of the second computing device to conduct a telephone conversation may be made, and in response to such determinations, the active telephone conversation may be transferred from the computing device to the second computing device. In an example, when a user holding a telephone conversation moves near a smart speaker, the telephone conversation may be transferred to the smart speaker from the user's mobile device, should the user desire such a transfer. Moreover, as the user moves around, the telephone conversation may move with the user from device to device, enabling a seamless and intuitive telephone conversation experience for the user.

Virtual assistant interface for call routing
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for determining a transfer option for transferring a call. One of the methods include receiving, by a call assistant engine, a keyword related to information provided by a user to an agent during a call; generating, by the call assistant engine, follow-up questions to be displayed on a user device of the agent in an interactive format, the first follow-up question being generated based on the keyword, each of the following follow-up questions being generated based on an answer of the agent to the previous question; and determining, by the call assistant engine, based on answers of the agent to the follow-up questions, a transfer option for transferring the call.
Systems and methods for determining a next action based on weighted predicted emotions, entities, and intents
Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for predicting an entity, intent, and emotion based on weighted and segmented portions of captured speech. An example method includes capturing speech and separating the speech and/or text derived from the speech into a plurality of discrete segments. The example method further includes determining or generating metadata, the metadata an entity, an intent, an emotion, and a weight associated with each of the entity, the intent, the emotion. The example method further includes determining a next action based on the determined or generated entity, intent, and emotion of each of the plurality of discrete segments.

User equipment-assisted secure call transfers
Techniques described provide for transferring calls between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. One implementation may include receiving a request to transfer a call, which has been established between the first UE and a third party device, to be between a second UE and the third party device. Location information for the first and second UEs may be received. A determination may be made to determine whether the first and second UE are in proximity to each other. In the event that a determination is made that the first and second UE are in proximity to each other, the established call may be transferred from the first UE to the second UE. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
Call transfer support system
A computer retrieves a dialog information records of the active call of the first operator. The computer extracts features from the dialog information records. The computer determines a feature vector from the extracted features and determines a transfer probability value based on the feature vector and previous call transfers to the second operator.
