SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GUIDING A USER TO A GOAL IN A USER INTERFACE
A system for integrating a telephone system and a computing system is provided. The system includes an interactive voice response (IVR) platform configured to: obtain a computer-readable command based on user input; determine a goal in the web application associated with the computer-readable command; and obtain information indicating a shortest navigation path to the goal, relative to other navigational paths to the goal in the web application. The system includes a cobrowse client configured to receive a document object model (DOM) of a current state of the web application from a cobrowse session for a web server hosting the web application. The IVR platform is configured to, based on the DOM, determine a next navigation action along the shortest navigation path; generate a user prompt based on the next navigation action; and monitor user progress to reach the goal in the web application using one or more updated DOMs
CALL CENTER WEB-BASED AUTHENTICATION USING A CONTACTLESS CARD
Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A server may receive a phone call and generate a uniform resource locator (URL) comprising a session identifier for an account. The server may transmit the URL to a client device. The server may receive, from a web browser, a request comprising the URL. The server may determine that the session identifier in the URL of the request matches the session identifier for the account, and transmit, to the web browser, a web page at the URL. The server may receive, from the web browser, a cryptogram read by the web page via a card reader of the client device and decrypt the cryptogram. The server may authenticate the identity of the caller for the call based on decrypting the cryptogram and the session identifier of the URL matching the session identifier of the account.
Remote management
A system enables collaboration through electronic devices executes software or an operating system feature that allows a first device's computing environment to run remotely on a second devices computing software by scanning predetermined wireless channels to detect remote clients via a communication controller. The system transmits device profiles that include protocol versions that multiple clients support. The system generates a link layer that joins a first device to a second device and generates authenticating keys that establish a communication channel. The system enables operating modes of the first and second devices that establish the content and control of those devices.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ATTORNEYS PRESENT IN A COURT GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
A computer-implemented method enables registered mobile device users associated with a common matter to identify each other in a court-complex setting, and to communicate with each other directly using mobile devices once the registered mobile device users enter a code associated to the common matter. A server-side application receives and processes user and/or firm names to effect registration. Using the mobile device application, a first registered mobile device user enters a code associated with the common matter, received by the server-side application that receives and processes the code, effecting check in by the first registered mobile device user. Using the mobile application, a second registered user enters the code associated with the common matter, enabling the first and second registered mobile device user associated with the common matter to communicate over a wireless network using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Wi-Fi and/or cellular telephony.
Emoji Commanded Action
A system and method for receiving and executing emoji based commands is disclosed. The system and method may include processes such as identifying ,emojis in a message, determining one or more action based on the emoji, and completing the determined actions.
SHARING PHYSICAL WRITING SURFACES IN VIDEOCONFERENCING
An apparatus and method relating to use of a physical writing surface (132) during a videoconference or presentation. Snapshots of a whiteboard (132) are identified by applying a difference measure to the video data (e.g., as a way of comparing frames at different times). Audio captured by a microphone may be processed to generate textual data, wherein a portion of the textual data is associated with each snapshot. The writing surface may be identified (enrolled) using gestures. Image processing techniques may be used to transform views of a writing surface.
Portable terminal device, television receiver, and incoming call notification method
There is provided a portable terminal device 2 that notifies a television receiver 1 of a received phone call or mail. The portable terminal device 2 includes a communication unit 210 that receives a phone call or mail and communicates with the television receiver, a notification execution unit 203c that performs control in a case where information of the phone call or the mail received by the communication unit is notified to the television receiver, and a posture detection execution unit 203e that detects a posture of the portable terminal device. In a case where the communication unit receives a phone call or mail, the notification execution unit changes content of the information of the received phone call or mail according to a detection result of the posture detection execution unit and notifies the television receiver of the changed content.
Companion devices for real-time collaboration in communication sessions
The present disclosure provides a number of techniques for enhancing a user's experience when joining teleconference sessions with multiple devices. When a user attempts to join a teleconference session using the same user identity for multiple devices, a system differentiates the devices as a primary device and at least one companion device. The primary device has a first control set for controlling a teleconference session and the at least one companion device has a companion control set for sharing content. In some embodiments, the primary device also has one set of selected streams, e.g., a stage view, and the companion device has a subset of those streams or other streams based on an activity level. In addition, the present disclosure provides a number of techniques for enabling users to share content using the companion devices.
VIRTUAL WORKSPACE VIEWPORT FOLLOWING IN COLLABORATION SYSTEMS
A collaboration system is provided and includes memory storing collaboration data including a spatial event map locating events in a virtual workspace and a local display including a screen space. The collaboration system further includes logic to identify a local client viewport in the virtual workspace, logic to render, in the screen space on the local display, graphical objects identified by events in the spatial event map that have locations within the local client viewport, logic to change a location and a dimension of the local client viewport in the virtual workspace in response to input signals, logic to render, in the screen space on the local display, graphical objects identified by events in the spatial event map that have locations within the changed local client viewport, and logic to generate a viewport change event in response to the change of the local client viewport in response to input signals.
Dynamic management of presenters of a communication session
A system for managing a communication session between a number of participants is provided. The system can analyze activity of each participant and generate recommendations on the communication flow of a meeting. For instance, the system can analyze user activity and other contextual data for each user to determine a recommended speaking arrangement for the participants. The recommendations can be presented to a moderator who can then utilize the recommendations to control the flow of the meeting. Inputs received from the moderator can modify speaking and viewing permissions to emphasize or deemphasize displays and audio of individual participants. In some configurations, the recommendations can be utilized by a system to automatically control permissions for each participant for the purposes of controlling communication and flow of an event, such as an online meeting.
