SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING TELEPHONY SESSIONS
20190349410 · 2019-11-14 ·

In one embodiment, the method of processing telephony sessions includes: communicating with an application server using an application layer protocol; processing telephony instructions with a call router; and creating call router resources accessible through a call router Application Programming Interface (API). In another embodiment, the system for processing telephony sessions includes: a call router, a URI for an application server, a telephony instruction executed by the call router, and a call router API resource.

CONNECTION FULFILLMENT SYSTEM

Aspects and the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for fulfilling a connection request which includes detecting, by a website server hosting a website, a user accessing the website through a first network connection, determining, through a respective second network connection, a respective availability of each of a plurality of professionals associated with the website, receiving, through the first network connection, a connection request from the user, assigning a respective ranking to each professional of the plurality of professionals, matching, based on the respective ranking, the user with a professional of the plurality of professionals, and connecting the professional with the user.

Systems and methods for conference calling using personal URL
10455191 · 2019-10-22 · ·

Systems and methods are disclosed for managing conference calling using a URL assigned to a conference call organizer. One method includes receiving, from a conference call organizer, a request to be placed into a conference call associated with a URL assigned to the organizer; and receiving, from a prospective conference call participant, a request to be placed into the conference call associated with the URL. Another method includes receiving, from a first user, through a web page of a URL assigned to the first user, a first phone number at which the first user can be called; receiving, from a second user, through the web page of the URL, a second phone number at which the second user can be called; and initiating phone calls to the first user at the first number and the second user at the second number.

Inbound calls to intelligent controlled-environment facility resident media and/or communications devices

Inbound call processing systems and methods for processing inbound calls to controlled-environment facility resident media and/or communications devices employ an inbound resident call server configured to host inbound calling accounts established by non-residents, receive inbound calls from the non-residents, route the inbound calls to an authenticating server, confirm that the resident device is active, and connect the inbound resident call system with the resident device if active or inform the non-resident the resident is not available if not. The inbound resident call server also connects the non-resident inbound call with the resident device if the non-resident is associated with the inbound calling account, the inbound calling account is associated with an address identifier of the resident device and the resident's personal identification number is associated with the address identifier of the resident device, all of which may be authenticated by the authenticating server.

Systems and Methods for Client Relation Management
20190320065 · 2019-10-17 ·

Systems, methods, computer systems, and computer-readable code for implementing methods for client relation management in which fewer call-in numbers need to be maintained. A method for client relation management preserves a more-complete record of online and offline interactions of a customer with systems provided by a plurality of service providers. A session identifier (SID) is associated with a customer upon interaction of the customer with a website provided by a first service provider. Website interaction information is received from the first service provider and is associated with the SID. Information associated with an incoming call from the customer at a call-in number at a call center maintained by a second service provider is used to associate the incoming call with the SID, creating a record of an offline interaction between the customer and an agent of the call center. The record of the offline interaction is associated with the SID.

Interacting with an interactive voice response system device or agent device of an organization

A device receives, from a user device, a communication request that includes information identifying a user of the user device, an organization, and at least one reason for the communication request. The device determines, based on the communication request, information concerning the user, a telephone number associated with the organization, and a menu of an interactive voice response (IVR) system device associated with the telephone number. The device communicates, based on the information concerning the user, the menu of the IVR system device, and the at least one reason for the communication request, with the IVR system device via a communication session initiated based on the telephone number. The device determines, based on communicating with the IVR system device, a time that the user is to interact with the IVR system device via the communication session, and causes the user device to join the communication session at the time.

Systems and methods of natural language processing to rank users of real time communications connections
10412225 · 2019-09-10 · ·

A computing apparatus configured to perform natural language processing, e.g., by comparing the words in a communication transcript of a user to a list of keywords, to generate an input vector representing a pattern of text in the communication transcript. A predictive model is generated from correlating input vectors to user ranking scores, e.g., for retention. The input vector determined from a communication transcript is applied to the computation model to compute a predicted retention score of the user. The retention score can be used, for example, to select a personalized recommendation for a communication connection to an adviser and/or a targeted offer.

TEXT-BASED TELEPHONIC SYSTEM
20190260708 · 2019-08-22 ·

A text-based telephonic system includes a database containing entries for text strings and corresponding telephone numbers. Telephone numbers corresponding to respective text strings are retrieved from the database. For instance, responsive to a phone providing a text string, the database is accessed to provide the corresponding telephone number to the phone. The provided telephone number would be usable by the phone to connect to a second phone via a telephony network. The text strings can be words or alphanumeric strings, which greatly enhances memory compared to numeric telephone numbers. The connection between the phones comprises a telephone call using a telephony network such as a public-switched telephone network or the Internet using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology.

Mapping A Contact Center Service Request To A Modality
20240163373 · 2024-05-16 ·

A universal contact center service access point is mapped to a service access point specific to a determined modality to establish a connection between a user device and a contact center operator device and associated with that modality. A request for a contact center engagement is obtained from a user device, in which the request includes a universal contact center service access point. Responsive to the request, the universal contact center service access point is mapped, based on a record associating multiple modalities with the universal contact center service access point, to a service access point specific to one of those multiple modalities determined based on information associated with the user device. The contact center engagement is then facilitated over a connection, established based on the mapping, between the user device and a contact center operator device associated with the service access point.

Systems and methods for click-to-callback

Click-to-callback provides an icon or link on a webpage that a user can select or click on. When the icon or link is clicked or otherwise selected, the user is provided with a list of his phone numbers to choose from, or a blank field to enter an alternate number, for an immediate return call from a representative of the entity (e.g., the company) associated with the webpage. When this request is submitted, the representative desirably calls the user back immediately (e.g., within about 10 seconds) to provide assistance. Thus, the user remains on the website, and gets the help he desires to continue on the website, which may, for example, lead to the user making an online purchase.
