Pronator supinator wrist deviator exercise device
A pronation supination wrist deviator exercise device includes a handle having a proximal portion and a distal portion; a shaft defining a longitudinal axis extending from a proximal end to a distal end; and a head portion having a predetermined weight. The head portion or the handle are mounted for relative movement on the shaft between a first position and a second position. The head portion and the handle define a first distance. The predetermined weight of the head portion represents a first weight. The first weight multiplied by the first distance represents a first effective torque of the device. When the distance between the head portion and the distal portion of the handle is changed to at least a second distance, the first weight multiplied by the second distance represents at least a second effective torque of the device.
REPOSITIONING POINT OF ACTUATION FOR AN EXERCISE APPLIANCE
An exercise machine comprises an arm support, including: a carriage configured to slide within a track attached to the exercise machine; and a support assembly that floats the carriage relative to the track, wherein the support assembly is disengaged by the application of force via the arm. An exercise machine comprises a rotatable column, wherein the column supports an arm, and a gear detent mechanism to support a discrete number of positions for the rotatable column. An exercise machine comprises a tiltable arm, and a mechanism to support a discrete number of positions for the tiltable arm.
Exercise machine and method of use
An exercise machine system includes a frame having a front bar and a back bar with a cross bar extending therebetween; a weight attachment bar pivotally attached to the cross bar, the weight attachment bar extending to a weight end; one or more handles attached to the weight bar and configured to provide a gripping location to provide upward movement of the weight bar; and a body support positioned above the frame, the body support having one or more pads to allow for supporting a person thereon; the weight attachment bar is positioned under the body support such that a user can pull up on the weight attachment bar from the body support.
Fitness systems and methods thereof
Systems and methods for fitness tracking are provided. An exercise apparatus is in networked communication with a fitness tracking computing system. The configuration and location of movable components of the exercise apparatus is determined based on sensors. This information is provided to the fitness tracking computing system via networked communication.
TRAMPOLINE EQUIPMENT AND METHODS
A lever for use in a trampoline includes a frame attachment, a rigid element and a tensioner. The frame attachment is configured for connection to a supporting frame of the trampoline; the frame attachment includes a stop formation. The rigid element is connected to the frame attachment and is configured to pivot about a fulcrum connected to the frame attachment. The rigid element includes a lug configured to contact the stop formation to limit an extent of a pivot motion of the rigid element about the fulcrum. The rigid element comprises a jump mat end and a frame end, the jump mat end being configured for connection to a jumping mat. The tensioner is connected to the rigid element and is configured for attachment to the trampoline supporting frame.
Shoulder rehabilitation device
Embodiments described herein are directed to a device and method of using the device for shoulder rehabilitation.
Resistance-generating device
A resistance-generating includes an elongated resilient body having opposed ends. A first mounting member is attached to the resilient body at one of the ends, and a second mounting member attached to the other end. The first and second mounting members are made of an inelastic material. At least one of the first and second mounting members is removably mountable to a corresponding one of the first and second mounting members of another device. The first mounting member is removably mountable to a first structure and the second mounting member is removably mountable to a second structure being displaceable relative to the first structure. The resilient body generates resistance upon being elastically deformed by displacement of the second mounting member mounted to the second structure relative to the first mounting member mounted to the first structure.
Exercise weight selection device and method
A resistance component configured for imparting a resistive force to a connected exercise component is provided. The device includes a frame pivotally supporting a selection arm which has a weight operatively connected to the selection arm by a pin arm. The weight imparts a force resisting rotation of the selection arm by a flexible member engaged with the exercise component. Adjusting the engagement of one end of the pin arm to an arched engagement path along the selection arm adjusts mechanical advantage and the resistive force.
Exercise device
Disclosed is an exercise device including flexible suspension unit, a mass, a fastening element and optionally a separate grip, wherein: a) the flexible suspension unit, elongated and thin in shape, are connectable at the level of at least a first end to the fastening element and at the level of an opposite end to one of such components; b) the mass has a through hole through which the suspension unit passes, the through hole being provided with a first opening and a second opening; and c) the fastening element can be blocked on the body of the mass.
