CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE
An electromechanical device for rehabilitation includes a motor and a control system including one or more processing devices operatively coupled to the motor. The one or more processing devices are configured to, responsive to a first trigger condition occurring, control the motor to operate in a passive mode, responsive to a second trigger condition occurring, control the motor to operate in an active-assisted mode, and responsive to a third trigger condition occurring, control the motor, by providing resistance, to operate in a resistive mode.
Chest expander
Provided is a chest expander including a pair of operational arms having upper ends rotatably coupled to a head and moving to approach or be spaced apart from each other and a pair of gas springs disposed crosswise between the pair of operational arms. In the operational arm, a longitudinal hole configured to guide one end of the gas spring to move are formed. A guide coupled to the one end of the gas spring are arranged in the longitudinal holes. A Holding device holds the guide at a selected position. Intensity of elastic force provided by the gas spring is adjustable by adjusting a position of the one end of the gas spring.
Fitness systems and methods thereof
Systems and methods for fitness tracking are provided. An exercise apparatus is in networked communication with a fitness tracking computing system. The configuration and location of movable components of the exercise apparatus is determined based on sensors. This information is provided to the fitness tracking computing system via networked communication.
Arm strengthening device
An arm strengthening device comprises a telescoping rod having a plurality of ergonomic grips at a first end and a removable circular weight perpendicularly disposed at a second end.
Weight apparatus including weight adjustment arrangement
A weight apparatus includes a handle, first and second anchorages mounted to first and second ends of the handle, respectively, the handle and the first and second anchorages having an axially extending opening, first and second rods axially movable inside the axially extending opening and adapted to be moved axially relative to the axially extending opening in opposite directions upon rotation of first and second pinion gears in the first and second anchorages, respectively, that engage with first and second racks on the first and second rods, respectively, and a lock having a locked condition in which rotation of the first and second pinion gears is prevented and an unlocked condition in which rotation of the first and second pinion gears is permitted.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ELECTRICALLY ACTUATED PEDAL FOR AN EXERCISE OR REHABILITATION MACHINE
A pedal assembly for electromechanical exercise or rehabilitation of a user is disclosed and can include pedals to engage appendages of a user. A spindle supports each pedal and has a spindle axis. A pedal arm assembly is located between the spindle and an axle. The pedal arm assembly is radially offset from the spindle axis to define a range of adjustability for the pedal relative to the axle. The pedal arm assembly can include an electrically-actuated coupling assembly to adjust the position of the pedal in response to a control signal, and regulate motion of the user engaged with the pedals.
GRAVITY RESISTANCE TRAINER
An inclined exercise apparatus may include a support frame, pedals and arm supports for a user. The angle of incline of the inclined exercise apparatus may be adjusted to be increased for a decreased level of difficulty and decreased of an increased level of difficulty. The inclined exercise apparatus may include a chest support for supporting a user's chest. The inclined exercise apparatus may include arm supports and hand grips so that a user can adjust their body position while using the inclined exercise apparatus.
CONTROLLED SQUAT STRENGTH-TRAINING MACHINE
A controlled squat strength-training machine includes a frame with a base mounting forward, intermediate, and rear uprights. The intermediate upright is pivotally connected to the base and is configured for limited rotation fore-and-aft. Knee pads are provided for restraining of users' knees. Users can adjust the resistance of the machine and thereby very the exercises performed thereon.
DEVICES FOR EXERCISE APPARATUSES
A computing system for determining osteogenic loading from an exercise apparatus for performing an exercise is provided. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface, a frame, a linear adjustment system interposing between and fixedly coupled to the loading interface and the frame, and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. A position of the loading interface of the exercise apparatus is adjusted through a movement of the linear adjustment system at one or more intermediate positions of a plurality of functional positions of the loading interface. A force exerted by a subject on the loading interface at the position in the one or more intermediate positions is received. A measurement of the force exerted by the subject on the loading interface at the position in the one or more intermediate positions from the sensor is obtained. A corresponding osteogenic loading for the force exerted by the subject is determined.
Devices for exercise apparatuses
A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface and a frame coupled to the loading interface for performing an exercise. The linear adjustment system fixes the loading interface of the exercise apparatus at any one of a plurality of functional positions in a functional range of the loading interface. The sensor measures the force exerted on the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.
