NETWORK EXCEPTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PACKET-SWITCHED TELEPHONY
20220256039 · 2022-08-11 ·

Asynchronous and/or synchronous telephony protocol systems and methods may include an asynchronous signaling node (ASN) and/or a call duration time quota from a charging onset to place and complete a call based on a first device call request as received from a first user mobile device on a packet switched network. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the telephony address with a prefix and destination address when the first device has insufficient or independent balance or upon a network exception; route the modified call signal to the ASN; and deliver and automatically disconnect the call when the call is completed. The synchronous systems are balance-independent and include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon such exception, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user telephony device when the call is completed or when the call duration time quota is exceeded.

GATEWAY APPARATUS FOR RADIO OVER IP NETWORK

A gateway apparatus for a RoIP network includes a secure memory, a first communication interface for transmitting and receiving data to and from terminals in the RoIP network, a second communication interface for transmitting and receiving data to and from a home subscriber server of a mobile communication network, and an operation processor. The operation processor performs (a) obtaining apparatus information, (b) registering the apparatus information in the home subscriber server through the second communication interface, receiving virtual subscriber identity module (SIM) information including a mobile identification number from the home subscriber server through the second communication interface, and storing the received virtual SIM information in the secure memory, and (c) providing, based on the mobile identification number, a service associated with the mobile communication network to at least one terminal among the plurality of the terminals in the RoIP network through the first communication interface.

ENROLLMENT AND AUTHENTICATION OVER A PHONE CALL IN CALL CENTERS

Embodiments described herein provide for a voice biometrics system execute machine-learning architectures capable of passive, active, continuous, or static operations, or a combination thereof. Systems passively and/or continuously, in some cases in addition to actively and/or statically, enrolling speakers. The system may dynamically generate and update profiles corresponding to end-users who contact a call center. The system may determine a level of enrollment for the enrollee profiles that limits the types of functions that the user may access. The system may update the profiles as new contact events are received or based on certain temporal triggering conditions.

On premises gateways interconnecting VoIP systems, the public switched telephone network and private branch exchanges and other telephony infrastructure
11277521 · 2022-03-15 · ·

A system and computer-implemented method for providing telephony communication services for VoIP or analog telephony devices using an on-premises gateway and remotely located VoIP system are described. Some implementations of the methods may include generating a configuration file mapping a plurality of tag extensions to a plurality of analog telephone ports of a high-density analog telephony adapter (HDATA), which may be communicatively coupled to the VoIP system. The VoIP system may transmit the configuration file to the HDATA, receive a telephony service request, and determine a tag extension based on the telephony service request. The VoIP system may transmit an identification of the tag extension to the HDATA and route a telephony service to the HDATA via the communication channel using the tag extension.

VERIFYING TRUSTED COMMUNICATIONS USING ESTABLISHED COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

In various examples, communications from a host device—which may be associated with an entity—and to a client device may be are verified through established channels of communication. Systems and methods are disclosed that use authentication signals and notifications, which may include predetermined passwords and time-sensitive values, to facilitate verification of the communication between the host device and client device. The notifications may be delivered using applications or web-based applications that are associated with an entity. Once the communication has been verified as trusted, the host device and/or the client device may present notifications that the communication is verified as trusted. The notifications may be presented using audio, video, and/or haptic methods.

System for administering test cases from a mobile device for a telecommunications network

The disclosed technology includes at least one method that enables a user of a wireless mobile device to remotely administer test cases that check the performance of telecommunications network nodes. The method includes authenticating a user for a limited time period in which the user can remotely administer the test cases. While being temporarily authenticated, the user can configure the test cases by associating services or operations with particular nodes. The executed test cases cause the nodes to generate data that indicate performance of the nodes in response to the services or operations. The results can be displayed at the mobile device used to remotely administer the test cases.

Method and system for transmission of a session initiation protocol (SIP) identity header in an out-of-band verification network
11297189 · 2022-04-05 · ·

A computer-implemented network verification system includes a second device situated in a terminating call network and configured to receive a call signal from a first device situated in an originating network. The first device is coupled to a first registry that stores originating call records. The first registry is configured to obtain, from the first device, and store call data and a SIP identity header associated with the call signal. The system also includes a second registry coupled to the second device and configured to receive, from the first registry over an out-of-band verification network, a first verification request that contains the originating call record, including the SIP identity header associated with the call signal. The second registry is further configured to send the SIP identity header contained in the first verification request to the second device.

Verified Calling Party Information Display Confirmation System
20220086276 · 2022-03-17 ·

Disclosed are systems and methods for display confirmation of verified calling party attributes at the time of call establishment. A call initiation request corresponding to a calling party is received and includes a set of verified calling party attributes. A subset of the verified calling party attributes is provided for display on a communication device associated with a call recipient identified by the call initiation request and in response, a display acknowledgement is obtained, comprising a listing of verified calling party attributes recorded as being displayed during establishment of a communication session between the calling party and the call recipient. The display acknowledgement is validated and a display confirmation is generated to indicate particular verified calling party attributes that were successfully displayed during establishment of the communication session.
