EXERCISE MACHINE AND USER INTERFACE FOR EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine may include a tower enclosing, at least in part, a cable and pulley system, a base supporting the tower on a surface, and a plurality of handles operatively coupled to the cable and pulley system and configured to extend from the tower. The exercise machine may include a resistance motor operatively coupled to the cable and pulley system. The resistance motor may include a fan and a flywheel connected to a common shaft. The exercise machine may be operatively associated with a user interface which includes an exercise display area configured to activate one or more exercise indicators in a predetermined sequence and a control area including at least one mode control operable to change the sequence of activation of the one or more exercise indicators. The user interface may be provided on a console of the exercise machine.
XBIKE DESK AND EXERCISE SEMI-RECUMBENT BICYCLE
Improvements to a desk and exercise semi-recumbent bicycle is disclosed, the desk allows a person exercising while utilizing the desk with a computer, as a table or read a book. The desk has a 6-way adjustment relative to the seat for elevation of the desk, angle, sliding forward and backward of the desk or the proximity of the desk relative to the chair and or the pedals. The desk pivots to allow the desk to be easily tilted towards the user when they are studying and tilted away from the user when the user wants to exit the exercise bicycle. The dimension from the seat to the pedals is adjustable to accommodate these different desires. The amount of resistance can be adjusted to increase or decrease the difficulty to accommodate different levels of activity. A recording mechanism can count distance, elapsed time, calories or other information.
Exercise Machine Adjustable Resistance System And Method
An exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method for efficiently varying the workout resistance for an exercise machine. The exercise machine generally includes a carriage movably positioned with respect to the at least one rail, a plurality of springs selectively connectable to the carriage to provide a resistance level to the carriage, a plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices adapted to latch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the latch state and unlatch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the unlatch state and a control unit in communication with the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to selectively control the state of each of the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to be within the latch state or the unlatch state.
Portable exercise device
A portable exercise device provided includes: a base disc, two pulley assemblies, a support plate, and a fan wheel assembly. A support plate is disposed on the base disc, the two pulley assemblies are provided on the base disc, and the fan wheel assembly is provided on the support plate, so that the fan wheel assembly and the two pulley assemblies are vertically arranged on top of each other, thereby reducing the overall volume. More preferably, because the volume is reduced, the user can arbitrarily move and hang the portable exercise device at the desired position, and because the portable exercise device of the invention can be hung at different positions, which allows the user to train different muscles according to the different positions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A BICYCLE TRAINER
A system and method for controlling an exercise device are provided herein. The system includes a memory having computer-executable instructions and at least one processor to execute the computer-executable instructions to wirelessly connect the exercise device, receive a training mode, receive at least one variable for determining a power set point, determine the power set point responsive to the training mode and the at least one variable and control a magnetic brake assembly in the exercise device responsive to the power set point.
BICYCLE TRAINER WITH HEIGHT ADJUSTING MEMBER
A bicycle trainer includes a base having a base portion and a standing portion, a supporting frame rotationally pivoted on the standing portion of the base around an axle, a cassette module mounted on the supporting frame and having multiple sprockets, and a flywheel module mounted on the supporting frame. A height adjusting member includes the standing portion, the supporting frame and a fixing element. The fixing element is placed in or between the standing portion and the supporting frame for keeping the supporting frame at a predetermined angle with respect to the standing portion.
Strength training apparatus
Embodiments of a strength training apparatus and related methods are provided. In one embodiment, a strength training apparatus may include a tower, a first arm and a second arm each pivotally coupled with the tower and each being configured to be selectively positionable independent of each other at multiple angles relative to each other, a first pulley coupled to an end of the first arm, a first cable extending through the first arm and the first pulley, a second pulley coupled to an end of the second arm, a second cable extending through the second arm and the second pulley, a magnetic mechanism coupled to the first cable and the second cable and configured to provide multiple levels of resistance to a user pulling on the first cable and/or the second cable, and a control panel located on the tower.
Controlled stimulation device
A controlled stimulation device used either alone or in conjunction with a treatment device to reduce amount of pain a patient may experience during a treatment with the treatment device.
ELECTRIC MAGNETIC RESISTANCE CONTROL STRUCTURE FOR EXERCISE MACHINE
An electric magnetic resistance control structure for an exercise machine includes a base; a flywheel, pivotally connected to the base through a rotating shaft, the rotating shaft defining an axial direction, the flywheel, a non-magnetically sensitive layer being coupled to a circumference of the flywheel; a power unit, fixed to the base; a magnetic resistance unit, including a coupling portion corresponding to an arc of the non-magnetically sensitive layer, at least one magnetic member being provided on the coupling portion and kept at a distance from the non-magnetically sensitive layer to generate a magnetic resistance effect; a control unit, configured to control a current applied to the power unit to drive the magnetic resistance unit to move along the axial direction, thereby changing an overlapping area of the magnetic member and the non-magnetically sensitive layer in the axial direction, so as to adjust a magnetic resistance of the flywheel.
Magnetic Anti-Atrophy Device "MAAD"
My invention utilizes magnetism to generate a force that you can either push or pull between two neodymium electromagnets. With this invention astronauts will be able to utilize this device which uses magnetism to simulate weight. The force these two magnets create that you can push and pull on will be just as viable in space as they were on Earth and depending on how much energy you put into the electromagnets will determine on how much force they push a pull. An example would be an astronaut wanting to lift 100 lbs the magnets would pool at each other to simulate a resistance of 100 lbs. Lastly, it's voice control system like any smart device will allow it to be one of the safest devices they can use considering their voice will be in control of how much resistance and force they're working with.
