Audio capture and transmission device having sound attenuation
Provided is a device for simultaneously communicating with a first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device. A microphone is housed within the device and circuitry therefor is included in the device, and preferably housed within the device. The device form-fits generally over a user's mouth and nose and has an air tube extending substantially the length of the device, within the interior of the device, to relieve back-pressure. The device is shaped to promote attenuation of sound within the device, and is constructed to reduce uptake of outside, extraneous sound by the microphone. The circuitry comprises one or more processors, an audio capture module, power management module, listening output module, and data storage module. The device also has a touch screen interface.
Sound Localization for an Electronic Call
During an electronic call between two individuals, a sound localization point simulates a location in empty space from where an origin of a voice of one individual occurs for the other individual.

AUDIO QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS
Methods and systems are disclosed for echo suppression of an input audio signal. A multimedia system and a remote control unit are configured to adaptively and dynamically preform calibration processes for obtaining sets of echo suppression parameters. The sets of echo suppression parameters are used to generate an audio signal from an input audio. When rendered by a speaker, the generated audio signal produces echo-suppressed sound of the input audio signal at one of more locations.
Sound localization for an electronic call
A head mounted display (HMD) worn on a head of a first person provides an electronic call between the first person and a second person. The HMD includes or more sensors that determine one of a size or a shape of a physical environment where the first person is located. A display displays a virtual image of the second person during the electronic call, and one or more processors adjust a voice of the second person played to the first person to compensation for sound reverberation. The HMD include speakers that play the voice of the second person in binaural sound compensated for the sound reverberation.
EXTERNAL NOISE-BASED MICROPHONE AND SENSOR CONTROL METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device, includes: a sensor; a plurality of microphones; one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to: obtain a first sound signal through at least one of the plurality of microphones; obtain a second sound signal through at least one of a plurality of axes of the sensor; identify a noise level from among a plurality of noise levels based on the first sound signal and the second sound signal; control one or more of the plurality of microphones to be turned on or off based on the noise level; and control one or more of the plurality of axes to be turned on or off based on the noise level.
Providing a sound localization point in empty space for a voice during an electronic call
Electronic devices in a computer system execute to provide a sound localization point in empty space of a voice during an electronic call between a first person and a second person. The sound localization point occurs at least one meter away from a head of the person wearing a wearable electronic device at an augmented reality image.

Providing voices of people in a telephone call to each other in a computer-generated space
A method executed in a computer system that provides voices of a first person and a second person in a telephone call to each other in a computer-generated space. The voices localize at a sound localization point in empty space that is at least one meter away from the person.
